Abstract

The emergence of residual materials during the building construction process cannot be avoided by the construction operator, especially the impact that directly or indirectly results in wasting construction material costs. However, this can be minimized by applying an ideal waste material management concept from the planning, procurement to implementation stages. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of potential impact of the application of the concept of waste management of building construction materials in an effort to reduce the impact of inefficiency in project material costs, where in this study is viewed from the point of view of the parties involved in the project carried out by the State Owned Contractor (SOE). The method used in this research is done by distributing questionnaires to the building construction organizers which are being handled by the SOE contractors, where the respondents consist of experienced and responsible parties in project activities. So the conclusion from the results of this study shows that the concept of the model provides an impact test value that is quite ideal and has the potential to be applied by construction operators, both contractors, planning consultants and material suppliers in an effort to reduce the impact of cost inefficiency due to the emergence of residual building construction materials in Indonesia in the future.

Abstract

In the conflict between Israel and Palestine, Israel had been overreacted by carrying out intensive military attacks that caused more Palestinian civilian casualties than Israelis. During the period 2008-2014 Israel carried out several aggressive military attacks which resulted in an increase in Palestinian civilian casualties, especially in the Gaza Strip. Using a constructivist perspective, this thesis will explain the reasons for Israel’s aggressiveness towards Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip, in the period 2008-2014. The main idea is identity. Israel’s collective identity was formed because of the bad historical experience of the Jewish people that grew up amid conflictual conditions. This formed a siege mentality and hatred in the lives of the Jews so that they assumed that groups outside them had evil intentions. It is important to understand how Israel's perception of self-image to trace the construction of thought of the leaders over that time span. Meanwhile, Palestinian identity changes from time to time due to certain social and historical factors. This difference causes both of them not to share the same identity (shared identity), which also influences Israel’s perception that Palestine is a threat. The inherent aggressive mentality, lack of shared identity, Israel’s perception of self-image and perceived threat from Israel are the causes of Israel’s aggressiveness towards Palestinians, especially in the Gaza Strip.

This paper described a hospitals, which are part of the facilities that provide health services, are currently facing increasingly fierce competition, so hospitals must continue to strive to improve the quality of services offered to the community. Hospital competition conditions have a positive impact, namely providing more choices for the community. Efforts to improve service quality are efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational management as well as efforts to satisfy community needs. These efforts were carried out in all fields including the procurement of Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS).(Putra & Vadriasmi, 2020).

Abstract

The Gulf region in 2017 experienced a diplomatic crisis that was quite complicated so that it could be said as a regional conflict which was manifested in the form of a blockade and the closure of diplomatic relations between them. This crisis mainly involves Saudi Arabia and its allies to blockade Qatar in various ways. This conflict made Kuwait emerge as a mediator trying to restore the diplomatic situation in the Gulf region back to normal. By using literature studies and qualitative research methods in analysing the data, it can be seen that Kuwait succeeded in neutralizing and slowly returning to the situation in the Gulf region to open the blockade and re-establish diplomatic relations with Qatar. So it can be concluded that Kuwait formed a narrative of “solidarity” and “stability” to reconcile the conflict situation.
