Abstract

The study explores the utilization of Oracle Spatial in the determination of the shortest path between locations. This is very important for the analysis and management of geographic information. Its ability to handle multiple attributes, rasters, and vectors, is greatly enhanced by its support for data management. The objective of the study is to find the closest locations of Binus BB S and Binus Square to investigate the use of Oracle's Geospatial technology. The research entails populating a table with geometry clusters, performing spatial queries, and capturing data. The study utilized SDO_GEOMETERY and SDO_NN to find the Binus Square and BBS campuses' closest locations. The findings reinforced Oracle Spatial's practicality and accuracy for proximity analysis, emphasizing the significance of maintaining and managing such databases. The study also identified an issue which suggests that the product could be improved in the future. The integration of its features with other Oracle applications can provide more effective management and visualization of spatial data. The study highlighted Oracle Spatial's potential to support complex spatial analyses and improve the operations of spatial databases. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan Oracle Spatial dalam penentuan jalur terpendek antar lokasi. Hal ini sangat penting untuk analisis dan pengelolaan informasi geografis. Kemampuannya untuk menangani banyak atribut, raster, dan vektor, sangat ditingkatkan dengan dukungannya terhadap manajemen data. Tujuan penelitian adalah mencari lokasi terdekat Binus BBS dan Binus Square untuk mengetahui penggunaan teknologi Geospasial Oracle. Penelitian ini memerlukan pengisian tabel dengan cluster geometri, melakukan kueri spasial, dan menangkap data. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan SDO_GEOMETERY dan SDO_NN untuk mencari lokasi terdekat kampus Binus Square dan BBS. Temuan ini memperkuat kepraktisan dan akurasi Oracle Spatial untuk analisis kedekatan, menekankan pentingnya memelihara dan mengelola database tersebut. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi masalah yang menunjukkan bahwa produk tersebut dapat ditingkatkan di masa depan. Integrasi fitur-fiturnya dengan aplikasi Oracle lainnya dapat memberikan pengelolaan dan visualisasi data spasial yang lebih efektif. Abstract

This research aims to answer the need for a security system that is capable of detecting LPG gas leaks in restaurants to avoid potential fire and explosion hazards. The system developed uses an MQ-2 gas sensor controlled by an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller, capable of detecting the presence of LPG gas and providing early warning to restaurant owners. The main objective of this research is to design and implement an effective and efficient safety system in detecting LPG gas leaks, which can provide warnings quickly and accurately to prevent accidents (explosion and fire). The methodology used in this research includes the hardware and software design stages, as well as system testing in an actual restaurant environment. The hardware consists of the MQ-2 sensor, Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller, buzzer module to provide alarms, I2C LCD to display data received from the MQ-2 gas sensor, and others. Software was developed using the Arduino IDE platform to program the microcontroller to detect and respond to gas leaks. The results of system implementation show that the MQ-2 sensor is able to detect LPG gas leaks quickly and accurately. An alarm sounds as soon as a leak is detected, providing effective early warning to restaurant owners. In addition, this system has also been tested in various conditions to ensure its reliability. The conclusion of this research is that the security system based on the MQ-2 sensor and Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller can function well in detecting LPG gas leaks and providing early warning which is much needed to prevent accidents in restaurants. This system is proven to be efficient, easy to implement, and reliable as an effective security solution. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab kebutuhan akan sistem keamanan yang mampu mendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG di rumah makan guna menghindari potensi bahaya kebakaran dan ledakan. Sistem yang dikembangkan menggunakan sensor gas MQ-2 yang dikontrol oleh mikrokontroler Arduino Uno R3, mampu mendeteksi keberadaan gas LPG dan memberikan peringatan dini kepada pemilik rumah makan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem keamanan yang efektif dan efisien dalam mendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG, yang dapat memberikan peringatan dengan cepat dan akurat untuk mencegah kecelakaan (ledakan dan kebakaran). Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup tahap perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, serta pengujian sistem di lingkungan rumah makan yang sebenarnya. Perangkat keras terdiri dari sensor MQ-2, mikrokontroler Arduino Uno R3, modul buzzer untuk memberikan alarm, LCD I2C untuk menampilkan data yang diterima dari sensor gas MQ-2, dan lain-lain. Perangkat lunak dikembangkan menggunakan platform Arduino IDE untuk memprogram mikrokontroler dalam mendeteksi dan merespons kebocoran gas. Hasil implementasi sistem menunjukkan bahwa sensor MQ-2 mampu mendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG dengan cepat dan akurat. Alarm berbunyi segera setelah kebocoran terdeteksi, memberikan peringatan dini yang efektif kepada pemilik rumah makan. Selain itu, sistem ini juga telah diuji dalam berbagai kondisi untuk memastikan keandalannya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa sistem keamanan berbasis sensor MQ-2 dan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno R3 ini dapat berfungsi dengan baik dalam mendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG dan memberikan peringatan dini yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk mencegah kecelakaan di rumah makan. Sistem ini terbukti efisien, mudah diimplementasikan, dan dapat diandalkan sebagai solusi keamanan yang efektif.

Abstract

This study investigates the critical success factors for cloud computing adoption in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Jabodetabek by integrating the DeLone and McLean information systems success model with organizational readiness. Through a quantitative survey approach, the research examines how system quality, information quality, and service quality influence organizational readiness and, subsequently, user satisfaction and net benefits of cloud computing. Results indicate that service quality has the strongest impact on organizational readiness, underscoring the importance of technical support in facilitating technological change. Furthermore, organizational readiness significantly enhances user satisfaction and operational benefits, emphasizing that well-prepared internal structures and skilled human resources are essential for successful cloud adoption. The study provides valuable insights for SME managers to strengthen organizational readiness, particularly in cultural and technical aspects, to optimize cloud computing outcomes. It also offers practical recommendations for policymakers to design training programs that enhance SMEs' technological capabilities. This research contributes to the literature by integrating quality and readiness perspectives, filling a gap in understanding how these factors jointly influence cloud adoption in SMEs. Future research could explore the long-term impacts of cloud adoption and validate these findings across different sectors and regions. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji faktor-faktor keberhasilan kritis dalam adopsi cloud computing pada usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) di wilayah Jabodetabek dengan mengintegrasikan model kesuksesan sistem informasi DeLone dan McLean serta kesiapan organisasi. Melalui pendekatan survei kuantitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, dan kualitas layanan memengaruhi kesiapan organisasi dan selanjutnya kepuasan pengguna serta manfaat bersih dari cloud computing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan memiliki dampak terkuat pada kesiapan organisasi, menyoroti pentingnya dukungan teknis dalam memfasilitasi perubahan teknologi. Selain itu, kesiapan organisasi secara signifikan meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna dan manfaat operasional, menegaskan bahwa struktur internal yang siap dan sumber daya manusia yang terampil sangat penting untuk keberhasilan adopsi cloud. Studi ini memberikan wawasan praktis bagi manajer UMKM untuk memperkuat kesiapan organisasi, terutama dalam aspek budaya dan teknis, guna mengoptimalkan hasil adopsi cloud computing. Rekomendasi juga diberikan kepada pembuat kebijakan untuk merancang program pelatihan yang meningkatkan kapabilitas teknologi UMKM. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur dengan menggabungkan perspektif kualitas dan kesiapan, mengisi kesenjangan dalam memahami pengaruh bersama faktor-faktor ini terhadap adopsi cloud pada UMKM. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengeksplorasi dampak jangka panjang adopsi cloud dan memvalidasi temuan ini di sektor dan wilayah berbeda.

Abstract

The adoption of communication and information technology has a strategic role in realizing the vision and mission of an organization. The adoption of ICT can have a good influence on employee performance.  Correctional service is one of the aspects of life that also requires an improvement in ICT capabilities, one of which is through the adoption of ICT. The Correctional Technical Implementation Unit is required to always develop in order to meet the goals of corrections. Correctional institutions are expected to adopt ICT to improve the performance of officers. Often, the adoption of ICT in Correctional Institutions does not go as expected. In addition, the adoption of ICT also does not last long. The purpose of this study is to determine Critical Success Factors related to technology adoption in Tangerang Class I Correctional Institution. The TOE framework was used in this study because environmental factors were considered to have a great influence on the place of the case study. This study uses a qualitative-quantitative method (mixed method) with interviews, literature studies, and questionnaires as research instruments. The data obtained from the questionnaire was processed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results of the study show that the three Critical Success Factors that are the main keys to the success of technology adoption in Tangerang Class I Correctional Institution are Government Support, Culture, and Top Management Support.ABSTRAKAdopsi teknologi komunikasi dan informasi memiliki peran yang strategis dalam mewujudkan visi serta misi sebuah organisasi. Adopsi TIK dapat memberikan pengaruh baik terhadap kinerja pegawai.  Pemasyarakatan merupakan salah satu aspek kehidupan yang juga memerlukan peningkatan dalam kapabilitas TIK yang salah satunya melalui adopsi TIK. Unit Pelaksana Teknis Pemasyarakatan dituntut untuk selalu berkembang dalam rangka memenuhi tujuan pemasyarakatan. Lembaga Pemasyarakatan diharapkan dapat melakukan adopsi TIK untuk meningkatkan kinerja petugas. Seringkali, adopsi TIK pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan tidak berjalan sesuai harapan. Selain itu, adopsi TIK juga tidak bertahan lama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan Critical Success Factor terkait adopsi teknologi pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Tangerang. TOE framework digunakan pada penelitian ini karena faktor environment dianggap memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap tempat studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-kuantitatif (metode campuran) dengan wawancara, studi literatur, dan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Data yang didapatkan dari kuesioner diolah menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga Critical Success Factor yang menjadi kunci utama keberhasilan adopsi teknologi pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Tangerang adalah Government Support, Culture, dan Top Management Support.

Abstract

Stock prediction is one of the important things in stock trading. It calculates the potential worth of stocks or other financial assets that are traded on stock exchanges. The precision of stock forecast outcomes serves several purposes, principally providing investors with protection from possible market hazards and opening doors for index traders, market speculators, and arbitrageurs to make money. This study used the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model and the Google Colab website to examine and predict the closing price of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk shares. This study uses daily historical stock data from 01 January 2020 to 01 January 2024. The ARIMA (1.0.1) model is the most accurate model for predicting the closing price of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk shares, according to the study’s findings.ABSTRAKDalam trading saham, Prediksi saham adalah hal yang sangat penting. Mengetahui nilai masa depan saham perusahaan atau instrument keuangan lainnya yang diperdagangkan di bursa keuangan adalah sesuatu yang menarik. Banyak hal dipengaruhi oleh akurasi hasil prediksi saham, terutama kebutuhan bagi investor untuk melindungi nilai mereka dari resiko pasar yang mungkin terjadi, peluang bagi speculator pasar dan arbitrase mengambil keuntungan dari indeks perdagangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memprediksi harga penutupan saham PT Bank Central Asia Tbk dengan menggunakan model Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) dan menganalisisnya dengan menggunakan website Google Colab. Penelitian ini menggunakan data historis harian saham dari tanggal 1 Januari 2020 hingga tanggal 1 Januari 2024. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa model ARIMA (1.0.1) adalah yang terbaik untuk meramalkan harga penutupan saham pada perusahaan ini.

Abstract

Stunting is a major chronic nutritional issue that remains a significant challenge in Indonesia. This study aims to predict the risk of stunting in children and enhance prevention efforts by analyzing the health and nutritional status of parents. The research employs Machine Learning methods by comparing the performance of the Decision Tree and Gaussian Naive Bayes algorithms. The dataset was obtained from open data sources and analyzed using Google Colab, with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of level 3. Evaluation results show that both algorithms achieved an accuracy of 95.35% based on the confusion matrix. The model accurately identified 2 stunting cases (True Positive) and 41 non-stunting cases (True Negative), indicating a high level of classification reliability. These findings suggest that Machine Learning approaches can be effectively utilized as early detection tools to support stunting prevention strategies in children.

Abstract

The management of the thesis repository in the Reading Room of the Faculty of Education, Trunojoyo University still uses Google Spreadsheets for the data collection process, so it is very limited in supporting the search and management of theses. As a result, students have to search for theses manually by looking one by one on the reading rack. In addition, laboratory assistants are often overwhelmed in the data collection process, which causes delays in updating thesis data on the reading rack. Therefore, a thesis recommendation system is developed using the content-based filtering method to facilitate automatic thesis search and thesis management by integrating the thesis collection feature independently. The method used is content based filtering using TF-IDF, SVD, and Cosine Similarity algorithms. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a waterfall model that has several stages, namely analysis, design, coding, and testing. Based on the results of the algorithm performance expert test, a value of 100% (very feasible) was obtained. System expert validation results show a value of 1, meaning that all features on the recommendation system can function properly. The results of web expert validation obtained a percentage of 96.92% (very feasible). In the user trial results, a percentage result of 91.3% (very feasible) was obtained. In testing the performance of the algorithm, a trial was conducted with 40 keyword samples using confusion matrix at threshold 3, threshold 5, threshold 10, and threshold 15. The recommendation system is said to be effective if the acquisition of a high precision value even though the acquisition value of recall is low. In this study, threshold 3 has the highest precision value compared to testing on other thresholds, namely accuracy 97%, precision 95%, recall 17%, and f1-score of 28%.

Abstract

Currently, inventory management systems are one of the most essential components in stores or warehouses. Toko Citra is a pharmacy located at Jl. Raya Asrama Divif 1 Kostrad, Cilodong, Kec. Cilodong, Depok City, West Java. Established in 2005, the store still relies on manual record-keeping for inventory and receipts, which often results in data entry errors. Additionally, during busy hours, employees are frequently overwhelmed when handling transactions. To address these issues, the researcher developed a system designed to manage stock and transaction data at the store. The system was built using the waterfall development method, with Kodular Creator as the application platform and Google Spreadsheet as the database. After development, the system was tested using black-box testing, including alpha testing by the researcher and beta testing by the store owner and employees. The results showed that the system functions properly and is suitable for daily use by the staff at Toko Citra.

Abstract

Student academic performance serves as a key indicator in higher education assessment. For students in Informatics Engineering, foundational computing skills are critical to their academic progression, and these are primarily acquired through first-semester courses. This study proposes a predictive model for Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) using the Support Vector Regression (SVR) method with a Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel. The courses "Introduction to Algorithms," "Computation I," "Computation II," and "Data Structures" were selected as independent variables, as they provide essential computing foundations for subsequent coursework. The dataset comprised 270 records, each containing grades from the aforementioned courses and the corresponding GPA achieved by students in their fourth semester. To ensure data quality, outlier detection was performed using the Z-score method, resulting in a refined dataset of 200 entries. This dataset was then split into 75% for training and 25% for testing. A grid search optimization identified the best hyperparameter combination: C = 100, γ = 0.05, and ε = 0.05. Model evaluation yielded promising results, with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.0742, a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 2.19%, a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.012, and an R² score of 0.8695—indicating strong predictive accuracy. Furthermore, the F-test produced a value of 74.9440, which exceeds the critical F-value of 2.5787, confirming the statistical significance of the independent variables in predicting GPA. This model has the potential to support academic monitoring and enhancement efforts by delivering actionable predictions and insights for the Informatics Engineering program.

Abstract

JNE's high-quality service will provide optimal satisfaction to users, ensuring they feel valued and have a reliable and efficient delivery experience. To provide optimal service, this research explores in-depth user sentiment analysis of freight forwarding applications in Indonesia. The purpose of the study is to analyze user sentiment towards the My JNE app, which is one of the leading freight forwarding apps in Indonesia. This research uses user review data from Google Play Store collected from 2018 to 2024. The review sentiment is categorized into positive, neutral, and negative using the VADER analysis tool. VADER (Valence Aware Dictionary and sEntiment Reasoner) is a lexicon and rule-based sentiment analysis tool specifically designed to detect sentiment in social media text. After the data reduction process, neutral sentiment classes were removed to focus the analysis on two main categories: positive and negative. Of the total 5,000 review samples analyzed, it was found that 35.78% belonged to the positive category and 64.21% to the negative category. The classification methods used in this study are Naïve Bayes and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN). The analysis results show that the Naïve Bayes model has an accuracy of 81.64%, while K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) has an accuracy of 76.25%. This accuracy test confirms that the KNN model is more effective in classifying user sentiment compared to Naïve Bayes. The results of this study provide important insights into user perceptions of the My JNE application, which can be used as a basis for improving service quality in the future. This research suggests that My JNE focus on improving features that often receive negative reviews to increase user satisfaction.
