FORUM PAEDAGOGIK adalah jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Institut Agama Islam Negeri Padangsidimpuan terbit berkala enam bulan sekali yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember. Jurnal ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wahana komunikasi ilmiah insan akademik dalam bidang ilmu-ilmu kependidikan, organisasi pendidikan dan kepemimpinan, dan pendidikan Islam. Redaksi mengundang para pakar dan akademisi untuk menyumbangkan naskah, baik berupa hasil penelitian, kajian mendalam, sesuai dengan kajian jurnal. Abstract

This paper explained about the media development toward the improvement of learning quality. This is also contains conceptual information traced through books that are relevant to the literature study approach. The finding of this paper is there were a connection between learning media development to learning quality improvement. This paper is only traced the concept that can achieve the learning quality improvement. Based on that reason, this paper can still be continued by other researcher deeply in practical term.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses dan hasil dengan menggunakan kegiatan Seni dan Kerajinan Tangan (Art And Craft) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman bentuk geometri anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Al-Ikhlas Salemba Tengah, Jakarta Pusat pada tahun 2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian tindakan Kemmis Taggart yang terdiri dari: (a) perencanaan, (b) tindakan dan observasi, dan (c) refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Skor data dari pemahaman bentuk geometri anak dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman bentuk geometri anak telah meningkat. Bila pre test pemahaman geometri anak secara signifikan 46% dan pada siklus I menjadi 61%. Skor pada siklus II meningkat sekitar 12,19% dan mendapat skor 86%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) proses penggunaan kegiatan art and craft dapat meningkatkan pemahaman bentuk geometri anak pada PAUD Al-Ikhlas Salemba Tengah, Jakarta Pusat 2015, (2) pemahaman bentuk geometri anak di PAUD Al-Ikhlas Salemba Tengah, Jakarta Pusat pada tahun 2015 meningkat dari pra siklus ke siklus pertama dan siklus kedua.

Abstract

ABSTRAKAl-Quran and Hadith have laid the foundations of the affairs of the world and the hereafter, and they have no exception educational affairs. If the Koran is believed to be the handle and instructions, in which there is certainly teachings or instructions to educate children, and instructions referred to illustrate the strong involvement and teaching basic factor in the process of education and other forces that are called by a factor of guidance from Allah. Basic factors referred to in this paper are innate factors or transcription factors; and other terms also called immortal factor, talent, and potential, and religious terms called fithrah factor. While teaching in question is a factor influencing factors originating from outside of the human in the household, in the community, in schools and in other places. When viewed in terms of education, environmental factors (teaching), we can determine one's personal formation. One example of the inability of humans to develop the ability of the environment is essentially no role Cain, he was desperate after killing his brother Abel; Cain did not know how to treat his brother's corpse. Abstract

Teacher competency is the ability, expertise and skills that should be possessed by teachers in carrying out the learning process that includes lesson plans. Implementation of learning is until the evaluation. In terms of evaluation, a teacher is said to be competent to understand the technique and evaluation procedures, and able to carry out the evaluation in order to get the results. The evaluation is used to improve the teaching and learning process. The evaluation starts from planning evaluation, test item construction, process and analysing the test results to interpret and follow up on the results of the evaluation.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes was caused by the lack of teacher’s creativity in applying a learning model when the learning process took place. The purpose of this study was to show variations in learning in order to achieve optimal learning outcomes. This research used Classroom Action Research by applying 4 phases, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The study result explained that there was an increase in teacher’s activity 73,25% and student activity 74,5%. Then the learning outcomes of students in cycle I got 55,43% and cycle II got 84,78%. This meant an increase of 29,35%. Obtaining these results could be concluded that the application of the make a match model could improve activities and outcomes of student’s learning in the thematic subjects in harmonious sub-themes in sixth grade MIN 3 city Medan academic year2019/2020.

Abstract:Roger Nunn berpendapat bahwa ada beberapa jenis kompetensi dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggis sebagai bahasa internasional. Pada tulisan ini, penulis membahas tentang kompetensi komunikatif dan kompetensi linguistik yang relevan bagi pengajaran bahasa Inggis sebagai bahasa internasional.Disini, penulis menggambarkan demografis penggunaan bahasa Inggris berdasar kompetensi yang digunakan untuk memperkaya materi pembelajaran. Simpulan, bahwa pembahasan pada tulisan ini adalah kompetensi pada pengajaran bahasa Inggis sebagai bahasa internasional.Key Words: kompetensi linguistik, kompetensi komunikatif, , English as an International Language (EIL).

AbstractThe Environment of education is not described in the Qur'an explicitly, but there are several signs that indicate the presence of the educational environment The family is the first educational environment where children get an education. At this point in the family laid the foundations of a child's personality. TheSchool as second in environment that developing the potential environmental grounds owned by the child. School is an environment where students absorb academic values including socializing with teachers and school friends. The Society is an educational institution after family and school. The shades of various education received by students in the community, covering all areas of both habit formation, the formation of knowledge, attitudes, interests, and the establishment of morality and religion. The natural environment is also used as a source of learning.

Abstract

Muhammad Abduh adalah salah satu tokoh pembaharu pemikiran umat Islam di Mesir, di bidang pendidikan bahasa Arab dan keagamaan. Muhammad Abduh dilahirkan pada tahun 1849 yang bertepatan dengan saat kejatuhan pemerintahan Muhammad Ali. Kritik Muhammad Abduh yang pertama terhadap kondisi umat Islam pada saat itu adalah metode pendidikan (bahasa Arab) ilmu Agama yang ada tidak mendukung tercapainya pemahaman yang baik terhadap pelajaran, khususnya pada metode pengajaran bahasa Arab.          Muhammad Abduh punya keinginan untuk memperbaiki uslub bahas Arab baik untuk media tulis pembelajaran bahasa Arab maupun pembicaraan resmi negara. Begitu juga pendidikan bahasa Arab, Muhammad Abduh juga melihat bahwa penyebab utama membuat kemunduran umat Islam  adalah pola pikir yang jumud dan statis karena mereka tidak mempergunakan akal yang dianugerahkan Allah kepada mereka

Abstract

Spiritual teacher has two words, namely the person who works the teacher and spirituality. Most experts give a more specific definition, as in a dictionary says that teachers are professional educators in the school with the main task of teaching. The first defenition has more common than the two that has led to formal school teachers. While the first defenition teachers could be outside the formal school, for example, at institutions of non-formal education in the community of origin only he really teaches people so that they know about something in order to be applied or practiced. Spiritual means spirit or spirituality. Spirituality is dipped again at the level of the spiritual sciences Deity in fact much studied by Sufism congregation. The problem, it is necessary spiritual teacher and how its role in improving the understanding of monotheism, especially as a leader in Sufism congregation.
