FORUM PAEDAGOGIK adalah jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Institut Agama Islam Negeri Padangsidimpuan terbit berkala enam bulan sekali yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember. Jurnal ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wahana komunikasi ilmiah insan akademik dalam bidang ilmu-ilmu kependidikan, organisasi pendidikan dan kepemimpinan, dan pendidikan Islam. Redaksi mengundang para pakar dan akademisi untuk menyumbangkan naskah, baik berupa hasil penelitian, kajian mendalam, sesuai dengan kajian jurnal. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 64 kelas yang terdiri dari 129 siswa dengan jumlah sampel 32 orang yang diambil 25% dari jumlah populasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dengan Tes. Angket bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran ekonomi orangtua siswa dan prestasi belajar siswa. Sebelum instrumen digunakan terlebih dahulu tes diuji cobakan untuk melihat tingkat validitas dan reabilitas intrumen. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment, koefisien determinasi, uji signifikan dan uji tingkat pencapaian. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan terhadap data untuk melihat hubungan variabel X dengan variabel Y diperoleh r hitung sebesar 0,097, sehingga diperoleh ada hubungan keadaan ekonomi orangtua dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII MTsN 2 Padangsidimpuan, tetapi dengan tingkat hubungan sangat rendah sebesar 0,9 %. Hal ini terbukti dari koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh sebesar rxy= 0,097 sedangkan rtabel= 0,029 pada taraf signifikan  5% Pada keadaan ekonomi orangtua tergolong baik yakni dengan persentase 61% yang berada pada interval 57 % - 61 %. Prestasi belajar tergolong sangat baik dengan nilai rata rata 84,5 yang berada pada interval 85-87. Dengan demikian diperoleh thitung ttabel, yaitu 0,097 1,697, dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan antara variabel X dengan variabel Y tetapi dengan tingkat hubungan yang sangat rendah. Dengan demikian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini ditolak, yaitu tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara keadaan ekonomi orangtua dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII DI MTs N 2Padangsidimpuan

Abstract

AbstractVocabulary (kosa kata) merupakan komponen yang sangat utama dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Tanpa penguasaan Vocabulary sudah tentu penguasaan keempat skills Bahasa Inggris tersebut tidak dapat dikuasai oleh siswa maupun pelajar. Oleh karena itu, disarankan penggunaan metode mengajar yang cukup efektif dalam upaya peningkatan Vocabulary siswa, yakni dengan menggunakan games (permainan). Pembelajaran yang ditawarkan disini merupakan perpaduan antara Total Physical Response (TPR) dengan permainan Taboo Aka Hot Seat Games. Dengan memadukan keduanya diharapkan pembelajaran vocabulary akan lebih semangat dan penguasaan terhadap vocabulary akan lebih meningkat. Namun dalam menggunakan atau menggabungkan kedua hal tersebut guru atau pengajar harus terlebih dahulu memahami konsep TPR dan permainan tersebut, sehingga apa yang diharapkan dapat tercapai. AbstractEconomic system are diverse from growth process, ownership, profit share, motivation and attraction. Market economic system (capitalism) and command economic system (socialism) are powerful. Both influence the growth of world economy for orientation and value. Furthermore, they say that none spiritual life is better than spiritual one.In conclusion, Islamic economic system says that there should be moral balance, harmony and equality in life and life after. None and spiritual life development should go conceptually and affectively.

Abstract

Management of education is a major resource for the advancement of a nation, for that education needs to be built and developed to be capable in producing superior human resources, advanced and competitive. The function of education is strategically most important for a nation, especially the people who carry out development should optimalize education system functions to deliver the human resources of high quality as the organizer of development and in order to improve the quality of life of the community, the nation and the state. Management of headmaster in improving the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sibolga must strive to increase the quality of education, including the quality of the performance and management of headmaster, deputy, teachers and committee of Madrasah to provide and support to all stakeholders of education in madrasah as a systematically, integratedly, well-planned and professionally. In order to achieve an effective and efficient organization, management must be enabled fully to every organization including education. The management functions as planning  organizing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

The competence becomes a purpose that must be achieved by a teacher based on standardization for developing profession ability so it gets on professional level. Being professional teacher must increase the competence in teacher. Therefore this research aims to describe it (pedagogic, personality, professional, and social ability) of religion teacher in Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Al-Washliyah 22 Medan Tembung. This is field research using qualitative naturalistic method where researcher looks for and uses descriptive data such as words and opinion given by research subject. Data collection is conducted in interview and documentation method while analysis technique is conducted in data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Data analysis is conducted while collecting data and after all data are collected or after the research is done in the field. This research shows that the effort that is done by religion teacher in MAS Al-Washliyah 22 Medan Tembung in improving their competence is good but there is still something needed such as teacher personality training and the use of computer science and technology training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif tentang Kompetensi Guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP N 2 Aer Joman.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Teknik keabsahan data diambil dari teknik triangulasi data. Adapun yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP N 2 Aer Joman dengan jumlah sebanyak 4 orang. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan tidak begitu memperhatikan pemahaman, keterbatasan media pembelajaran hanya menggunakan media pembelajaran seadanya, metode yang sering  digunakan oleh  guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan adalah metode ceramah, dan pengembangan siswa yang dilaksanakan oleh guru pendidikan Kewarganegaraanadalah remedial dan ekstra kulikuler, sedangkan bimbingan konseling tidak terlaksana

Abstract

AbstractLearning activity is an essential activity in all of the process education that engages two active agent, they are teacher and students. Teacher as an educator and instructor is one of the determinants for success in each effort education. Qualification of teacher in conveying material that can attractive enthusiasm and motivation of students for their learning is one of achievement that show level of teachers‟ professional itself.One of form of teacher management that can be done for increasing teachers‟ professional to achieve quality of learning is Lesson Study. Lesson study is “model of profession instruction of educator through learning as collaborative and continue rest on principles collegialities and mutual learning in community study. With lesson study, the teacher can ease to increase teaching quality and professionalism. Thereby, it can increase learning and produce the students has high quality.

Abstract

AbstrackThis MBC is to increase efficiency quality and distribution of education. The improving efficiency is obtained through facility to manage existing resource, society participation and to moderate bureaucracy. Improvement of quality is obtained through old fellow participation, flexing management of school, improving teachers’ professionalism, existence of penalization and present as control are able to grow development of conducive atmosphere. Abstract

A method has important rule  in educating the children for reaching a goal of education that is hoped by parents. Because of that, the parents must have knowledge and education for choosing the method, the  children grow up in bad condition  if they choice the wrong method.  Based on view of Islam there are some methods in raising children in Islamic, thay are: modelling method, love method, advice method, communication method, action method, telling story method, reward and punishment method and playing method. Modelling method is a parents as modelling especially in religious aspect. Love method  is a method  that use by loving. In advice method a parents can be using the Alqur’an and Sunnah for teaching them. Telling story method is a method when a parents must like telling a good story for building their character. Reward and punishment methods are methods that can be combined and this case the parents must be wise. And the last is playing method, this method brings the parents in comportable gratifying condition. The childreen will be happy and smart. Finally,  The parents can be able to use all the method above based on the condition of their children, which one is compatible for them. Alqur’an and Sunnah Rasululluh Saw support to all the methods.  So there is no doubt for choosing all the methods.
