Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' ability to visualize papers in PowerPoint. This is done so that students' obstacles in presenting educational PowerPoint can be found. The research method used is observation of 11 PowerPoint scripts that are student group assignments in the Scientific Paper Writing Course. The results obtained indicate that students' ability to visualize their papers in PowerPoint is divided into 7 categories of slide appearance and 12 errors in visualizing them. The research findings prove that there is a group that presents 127 slides or 52% in PowerPoint, even though that number has far exceeded the presentation of slides which should be around 10 to 12 slides. Meanwhile, the highest error of 22% is not presenting facts of phenomena as an important basis in the background. Thus, all of these findings can be used as evaluation material in the next learning process so that students can avoid mistakes and can present their paper visualizations in PowerPoint more educationally. In order to overcome this, it is necessary to prepare more mature, complete, and full independent practice materials so that the obstacles that arise can be resolved properly. The implications of this study can be a positive gap to improve the level of material with a more educational presentation. Thus, through a better understanding of the material, students will be able to visualize their papers into PowerPoint even better.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on scientific literacy to improve junior high school students' scientific literacy in ecosystem material. The methodology adopted in this study is research and development (RD), using a 4D development model that includes the stages of definition, design, development, and dissemination. The trial results showed that 80% of students were more interested and motivated when learning using LKPD and students' understanding of ecosystem material increased by 75%. The developed LKPD obtained a media validity of 85.80%, a language validity of 85.71%, and a material validity of 92.475%, indicating that the LKPD is suitable for use in learning. This LKPD is designed to encourage students to think critically through scientific literacy-based questions, which are in accordance with the needs of 21st century education. The ecosystem material taught through LKPD not only provides knowledge but also shapes students' attitudes. This study makes a positive contribution to biology education in Indonesia, preparing students for future scientific and technological challenges. It is hoped that the development of LKPD based on scientific literacy can be expanded to include various other scientific materials and utilize digital technology to create more interactive and interesting learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the practice of the merisik tradition within the Malay community of Bandar Sono Village, Batu Bara Regency, and how this tradition plays a role in shaping social boundaries for young people. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, religious figures, the village head, couples who have experienced the merisik tradition, parents from both families, and members of the local community. The findings indicate that the merisik tradition is still actively practiced and not only serves as an initial stage before engagement, but also represents a form of respect toward the woman's family and an effort to preserve the honor of both parties. This tradition plays an important role in maintaining social order, particularly in regulating interactions between young men and women to align with cultural norms and Islamic teachings. It carries educational values such as responsibility, respect for parents, modesty, religious values, appreciation for tradition, and the regulation of interactions between males and females. Therefore, the merisik tradition remains relevant today as a form of character education rooted in local cultural values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase the motivation of science learning of fourth grade students of SDN Setia Mulya 01 Taruma Jaya Bekasi. The research method that will be used in data collection is the Quase Experiment Method. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The average value of the experimental class pretest was 80%, while the average value of the control class was 81%; (2) obtained an average N-gain for the experimental class of 0.069 and included a moderate category. While the control class obtained an N-gain value of 0.016 and included the low category. This shows that the increase in student learning motivation in the experimental class has a significant difference; (3) the results of the post-test hypothesis test with an Asymp. Sig 0.003 which means smaller than the value of a (0.05). So based on this data, the hypothesis is accepted with the conclusion that there is a significant difference in increasing student learning motivation. there is an influence on the use of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) learning model on the learning motivation of grade IV students at SDN Setia Mulya 01, this is evidenced by the results of the final hypothesis test calculation, namely Asymp. Sig 0.05 (0.003 0.05) which means there is a significant difference. Based on the average value of learning motivation in students, the experimental class gets an average of 85% while the average value of the control class is 79%, this shows that the use of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) learning model has a significant effect on student learning motivation.

Abstract

The analysis of masculinity in this movie uses Barthes semiotics theory. The researchers conduct masculinity research because it raises the phenomenon of heinous persecution based on defending his lover. The aim of this research is first to comprehend the characteristics of masculinity in terms of denotative, connotative, and myth of the main character in the movie Tarung Sarung. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with a semiotic model. The results of the research conclude that first, there are seven characteristics of the main character's masculinity found in this research, namely Physical; Deni Ruso has a handsome physique and courage, Functional; Deni Ruso helps people around him and his family, Sexual Aggressive; Deni Ruso wants to apologize and express feelings, Emotional; Deni Ruso can control emotions, Intellectual; Deni Ruso is not careless in making decisions, Interpersonal; Deni Ruso being able to become a leader in his environment and Personal Characteristics; Deni Ruso as a man who is financially successful. Semiotics helps analyze the implied meaning of the gradual process of forming masculine characters by supporting the theory of masculinity characteristics applied in this research. So, guidelines are found to form masculine attitudes and characters for every man.

Abstract

Various ways have been done by the National Narcotics Board, Government, Parents, community leaders and other organizations in the prevention of drug abuse against teenagers in the field so that teenagers avoid drug abuse, but the reality in the field is that there are still many teenagers who abuse drugs, seeing these dynamics, in this researcher the researcher conducts an in-depth study of the prevention of drug abuse for adolescents through the concept of Islamic education, with the hope that by finding this abuse prevention model can help in preventing drug abuse for adolescents. in this study researchers used qualitative research studies (library research) with a text analysis approach. Library research is carried out using library references, either in the form of books, journals, messages or the results of previous research information. After collecting the data that the author gets from the source, then the researcher analyzes its contents and determines the themes related to the concept of Islamic Education. Then the results found that the drug abuse prevention model for adolescents through the concept of Islamic Education is the concept of ta'lim, with a prevention pattern, namely, a process of providing knowledge, understanding, understanding, responsibility and instilling trust

Abstract

This research aims to describe the hadith dha'if jiddan hadith dhâif jiddan in the Book of Hadith Sahih al-Albani (critical analysis of the consistency of al-Albani in the Book of Silsilah al-Sahihah). The research method uses qualitative research with descriptive analysis which is included in the library research category. Library research also utilizes library sources to obtain research data. The results of this research illustrate that in general, Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani's use of method of criticizing hadith does not have significant differences from the majority of muhaddisin. Because according to him he is a person who follows in the footsteps of previous scholars. The dhâif jiddan hadith in the book Silsilah al-Ahadis al-Sahihah became a serious polemic which caused al-Albani to be rejected by the muhaddis of his time. Al-Albani's attitude in applying his critical method is classified as inconsistent. Because there are several results of criticism of hadiths that violate it. Thus, the finding can be an important reference for muhaddis in tracing the track record of hadiths which is considered dha'if jiddan in the opinion of the ulama. Therefore, researchers in the same field are asked to be more critical in adhering to the rules for determining hadith based on the decisions of the ulama so that there are no inconsistencies in determining hadith in the future.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the strengthening of entrepreneurship-based Islamic education at Jabal Lubuk Raya Islamic Boarding School, Tapanuli Selatan. Entrepreneurship-based education serves as a strategic approach to equip students with practical skills relevant to facing modern economic challenges while preserving Islamic values. The research employed a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that Jabal Lubuk Raya Islamic Boarding School has implemented entrepreneurship education through an integrative curriculum combining religious studies with entrepreneurial skills. Key programs include business training, student-run business practices, and project-based learning. Supporting factors include the commitment of pesantren leaders, adequate facilities, and students' enthusiasm for entrepreneurship. However, challenges such as limited funding and gaps between theory and practice remain. This study concludes that strengthening entrepreneurship-based Islamic education at this pesantren significantly contributes to producing independent, innovative, and morally upright students. Keywords: Islamic Education; Entrepreneurship; Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

The research aims to describe the sub-focus: the implementation of the full-day school program at Al Muslim Kindergarten in stimulating children's independence, the obstacles and solutions in implementing the full-day school program, the impact of the full-day school program on children's independence development, and parental involvement. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Research subjects: the principal, teachers, students, and parents of Kindergarten B Khalid. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive model. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the full day school program at Al Muslim Kindergarten features a comprehensive curriculum, including religious education (Tilawati, Tahfizh, prayer habits, daily prayers), habituation programs, and specialized programs; teachers have the flexibility in classroom management, and the entire school community actively participates in fostering children's independence, supported by adequate facilities; the challenges faced include insufficient parental support for the school program; the positive impacts of the full day program on children include the establishment of positive habits, getting used to activities according to their schedule, becoming more independent in taking care of themselves, being able to express their needs, taking more responsibility for their activities, being more creative and proactive, easily socializing, being disciplined, better able to respect others, more confident, and willing to perform in front of many people; the role of parents includes the obligation to understand the school program and to reinforce positive habits at home.

Abstract

A This study aims to determine the effect of the Mind Mapping cooperative learning model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of class VII students of MTsN 1 Tapanuli Selatan. The population in this study were all class VII MTsN 1 Tapanuli Selatan which consisted of 4 classes and the total number of students in class VII was 107 students. Sampling in this study was through Cluster Random Sampling where the sampling population did not consist of individuals, but consisted of groups that had the same characteristics (homogeneity). As a research instrument, data were used to test students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the form of an entry test on fractional material, where the questions totaled 10 questions and had been validated by lecturers and mathematics teachers. From the analysis of the score data for tests of students' mathematical problem solving abilities before using the Mind Mapping model, an average of 78.2 was obtained with a standard deviation of 5.56 and after using the Mind Mapping model an average of 82.3 was obtained with a standard deviation of 5.27 . The hypothesis used in this study uses the t test. Based on the results of data processing for the variables obtained by tests of students' mathematical problem solving abilities tcountttable (7.031 1.990847), these results prove that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted in other words. There is an influence of the Mind Mapping Cooperative model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in MTsN 1 Tapanuli Selatan. The effect of the Mind Mapping learning model on the Mind Mapping type cooperative model on the mathematical problem solving abilities of students at MTsN 1 Tapanuli Selatan is 42.25%
