Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) the result of learning micra teaching students majoring in tadris/mathematics education in the class of 2013 IAIN Padangsidimpuan, (2) the result of learning program field experience students majoring in tadris/mathematics education in 2013 IAIN Padangsidimpuan, (3) micro teaching students with learning outcomes of field experience program students majoring in tadris / mathematics education in forse 2013 IAIN Padangsidimpuan. Data were collected by documentation and analyzed by Product Moment Correlation. The result showed that (1) the lowest learning achievement of micra teaching was 68, the highest learning result was 90, the average score was 79.63, (2) the lowest learning achievement of the experiential learning achievement (PPL) 81, the highest learning result 94, average score 87.33, (3) there is a positive correlation between result of learning of micro teaching with result of learning program field experience of students majoring tadris/mathematics education at class of 2013 IAIN Padangsidimpuan done t test. Based on calculations obtained t_hit = 0.3408 and t_table = 0.329 with n = 36 and α = 0.05. Based on the analysis result obtained that t_hit t_table, meaning there is a significant relationship between the results of learning micro teaching with the result of learning programs field experience students majoring in Tadris / Mathematucs education in the class 2013 IAIN Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Intelligent factor is the most important of human personality, because intelligent take a part in each human activity, specially low or high student’s attainment in learning process. Many influencing factors of someone ability in problem solving. The aim of this researce are to know how the correlation between double intelligent with learning result in math subject about algebra.This research conducted in MTs N  2  Padangsidimpuan at VII. Grade Collecting data done by questionnaire and learning test result. To collect the data about intelligent researcher use questionnaire and test  used to collect the student test result. While to test hypothesis. Researcher use correlation product moment, and t-test to see significant or not.Based on research, researcher can conclude there is a significant correlation between, double intelligent with learning result in math subject about algebra in MTs N 2 Padangsidimpuan at VII Grade. Its mean more intelligent kind students have, higher math subject that reach by students.

Abstract

Science all comes from the Qur'an, but many still doubt and even argue that science and the Qur'an are systematically integrated. Because of this problem, the writer wants to prove the relationship between the Qur'an and science is perfectly integrated by examining "The Concept of Rational Numbers in the Qur'an and its Relationship with Religious Values". So from this problem the author makes two formulations of the problem, namely: how is the concept of rational numbers in the Qur'an? and what is the relationship between the concept of rational numbers and religious values? The purpose of the author examines the formulation of the problem, namely: to know the concept of numbers in the Qur'an and to know the relationship between the concept of numbers and religious values. The usefulness of research for Islamic education institutions can be used as a source of knowledge and grip, while for educators this research is expected to be an alternative in improving cognitive values and religious values of children, and for students is expected to increase their pride and faith as Muslims and can prefer mathematics, as well as for researchers to know the concepts of rational numbers in the Qur'an and the concept of rational numbers in contemporary mathematics and their relationship to religious values.The theories used in this study are theories about rational number systems in the fields of mathematics, religious theories and philosophical sciences and the application of the Qur'anic ulul theory as a supporter of author research. This type of research is Library Research research using descriptive approaches, maudu'i interpretations, deductive thinking, inductive thinking, and philosophical approaches.The results of the research that the authors get are: the concept of numbers in the Qur'an is also a concept of numbers in Arabic. Rational numbers in the Qur'an are partially studied in text, and therefore use contextual understanding, for example by interpreting zero numbers (0) and mathematical lexical concordances, namely in the form of the relationship of words per word in the Qur'an by using the book Al-Mu'jam Al-Mufarash. In the concept of rational numbers in the Qur'an there is a relationship that is proven to be perfectly integrated and there are religious values in the form of: the belief in the existence of Allah SWT, self-awareness as a servant of Allah, and gratitude for the blessings of Allah. All of this is to describe the power of Allah SWT from the translation of related theories. The results of the discussion are in the form of a relationship in the Qur'an with religious values which can be seen from the interpretation of words from the word "number" to the reference of numbers from rational fractions to the largest number, namely "100,000" which is interpreted in the form indicator of religious value, namely: value gives a purpose or direction of value to give aspiration, value directs someone to behave, value is attractive, value disturbs feeling, and value is related to belief and trust. Because all the words interpreted from the Al-Qur'an translation all have indicators of religious value of at least one indicator, it can be concluded that the concept of rational numbers in the Qur'an has a relationship with religious values.

Abstract

This research was started by the lowerness of students’ mathematical reasoning ability at VII grade of SMPN 1 Kerinci. That’s obtained from the student’s semester examination result then according to the experience, observation and interview results with the junior high school mathematic teachers. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of Problem Based Instruction (PBI) Model through student’s reasioning ability at VII grade of SMPN 1 Kerinci. This research is using quasy experiment method with Randomized Group Control Only Design. The population is all of seventh grade students in SMPN 1 Kerinci. This research is using Random Sampling Technique that students at VII-C grade as experimental group and VII-A grade as control group. The research instruments in this study is mathematical reasoning ability test to obtain students mathematical reasoning ability. The data is not have normal distribution so that we used Mann Whitney-U test with SPSS helped, obtained Sig (1-tailed). value = 0,000 α = 0,05 so that rejected H0. According to the analyzed of the data, the conclusion obtained that student’s mathematical reasoning ability who learn with using PBI Model is better than using conventional learning.

Abstract

AbstrakAl-Quran as the words of God revealed to the Prophet Muhammad become a way of life to man is not only to teach about faith, worship, laws and morality, but the Quran also describes about things related to science. In the Quran there is the term al-nazhr, al-fikr,al-aql, and al-qalb which suggests some form of scientific methodology. Scientific methodology revealed this Quran has been practiced by the scientists and philosophers, the method of observation(al-nazhr), method of rational thinking(al-fikrand al-aql), as well as intuitive method(al-qalb). But according to the Quran, the use of these methods is to get the truth in order to strengthening the faith(dzikrullah).Kata kunci :al-Nazhr, al-Fikr, al-Aql, dan al-Qalb.

Abstract

This research is a kind of classroom action research (action research class) aims to change students' learning outcomes. The location of this study in SMPN1 Padangsidimpuan. There are three objectives are achieved in this research, namely: (i) the ability to think creatively taught students before using Quantum Learning in material science. (ii) application of learning with Quantum Learning can improve students' ability to think creatively in solving problems of science. (iii) Improving students' ability to think preatif as taught by Quantum Learning in solving scientific problems. Dilaksanakn research stages with  two cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 times face to face learning. Results of research conducted both in cycle I and II shows that there is an increase in student learning outcomes using quantum science learning materials

Abstract

Learning Instructional is a set of learning sources that are arranged for students and teachers guide in teaching learning process. Learning Instructional consists of syllabus, lesson plan, materials, students’ worksheet, learning media, and test to measure students’ ability. Cooperative learning is a successful teaching strategy in which small teams, each with students of different levels of ability, use a variety of learning activities to improve their understanding of a subject. Jigsaw is a  grouping strategy in which the members of the class are organized into jigsaw groups. The students are then reorganized into expert groups containing one member from each jigsaw group. The members of the expert group work together to learn the material or solve the problem, then return to their jigsaw groups to share their learning. By using learning instructional bases jigsaw cooperative learning type in teaching learning process, hopefully teaching learning process becomes more effective.

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of the use of cooperative learning model type reciprocal teaching on the learning outcomes of students of logic material in class X of SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. This study uses an experimental method with non-equivalent design (untreated control group design with pretest and posttest). The results of the data analysis requirements test obtained by both classes of samples were normally distributed and homogeneous. The t-test results of the learning results obtained are t_ (count) = 2.936 t_ (table) = 2.016, so that there is a rejection of H_0 and acceptance of Ha. This means that there is the effect of using the cooperative learning model type reciprocal teaching on student learning outcomes in the logic material at Padangsidimpuan 5 High School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant differences between students' mathematical problem solving abilities after using the Probing Prompting model and the Problem Based Learning learning model. This type of research uses the quasi experimental design method. The design of this study was a pretest-posttest control group design. In this design, the grouping of research samples was done randomly, the experimental class I was taught using the Probing Prompting learning model and the experimental class II was taught using the Problem Based Learning learning model before and after the treatment was given the pretest and posttest. The results obtained from the Student Problem Solving Ability test conducted on the Probing Promting learning model were 43 students and obtained an average value of 67.09 while the Problem Based Learning learning model was 44 students and an average value of 64.43 was obtained. Students 'problem solving abilities after using the Promting Probing learning model in class VIII-1 (Experiment I) Padangsidimpuan 2 MTs obtained an average score of 67.09 Problem Solving Ability with a standard deviation or diversity from the results of students' mathematical problem solving ability test of 12.778. Students 'Problem Solving Ability after using the Problem Based Learning learning model in class VIII-3 (Exp.Padangsidimpuan MTs 2 obtained the average value of students' problem solving abilities of 64.43 with a standard deviation or diversity of a student's problem solving abilities of 13.944. Based on the t-test it is known that there is no difference in the Problem Solving Ability of Students with the Probing Promting learning model in class VIII-1 (Experiment I) and the Problem Based Learning learning model in class VIII-3 (Experiment II) or in other words concluded that there is no difference in Ability Problem Solving Students who are taught using Probing Promting learning models and Problem Based Learning learning models.
