Abstract

Drone-based monitoring systems have emerged as an effective solution to improve the efficiency of large-scale agricultural land surveillance, particularly in oil palm plantations. This study proposes an artificial intelligence (AI)-based simulation using dual drones to map optimal and distributed flight paths. The simulation considers the random wind effect on trajectory accuracy using a grid-based waypoint approach across the plantation area. The results show that both drones successfully completed the land inspection mission with an average wind-induced deviation of ±0.14 meters, indicating system stability under dynamic environmental conditions. Drone 1 covered a total distance of 9244.10 meters, while Drone 2 covered 10602.47 meters. A 3D trajectory visualization illustrates that the path deviations remained controlled. This research provides a foundation for developing more adaptive and efficient autonomous drone systems in the context of smart farming.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a web-based classification system for determining the eligibility of recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH), by comparing two data mining algorithms: C4.5 and Naïve Bayes. The dataset used includes various attributes relevant to eligibility assessment for social assistance. The C4.5 algorithm is employed to generate an interpretable decision tree, while the Naïve Bayes algorithm is used for probabilistic classification. The results show that Naïve Bayes achieved the highest accuracy at 98%, excelling in processing large datasets more efficiently. Meanwhile, C4.5 achieved an accuracy of 93.33% and offered better interpretability through its decision tree visualization. Both algorithms proved effective in classifying PKH eligibility and can be implemented in social assistance information systems to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the beneficiary selection process. This research concludes that the choice of algorithm should be based on system priorities—whether the focus is on processing speed or result interpretability.

Abstract

Perfume is popular among various groups of people, including laundry fragrances. Laundry perfumes come in a variety of scen$ts, such as fruity, floral, a combination of fruit and floral, and woody aromas. These fragrances are typically applied during the final stage of the laundry process. Currently, customers receive their laundry with a randomly selected scent based on the availability at the laundry service, which means they cannot choose the fragrance they prefer. Therefore, a Vending Machine (VM) design is needed to allow customers to select their desired laundry perfume. The VM is designed using the Finite State Automata (FSA) approach, specifically the Non-Deterministic Finite Automata (NFA) type, as it can accommodate multiple conditions for a single option. The development of the NFA method involves stages such as business process analysis, state diagram creation, VM design, and system testing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of this VM simplifies the process for customers to choose their preferred laundry perfume, ensuring that their laundry has a scent that matches their personal preferences.

Abstract

Untuk tetap bersaing di pasar global, produsen tahu harus memastikan kualitas produk yang konsisten. Pabrik Tahu Sumber Barokah, sebagai pemasok tahu bernutrisi tinggi yang telah lama beroperasi, menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga kualitas sepanjang proses produksi. Penelitian ini membandingkan kinerja algoritma Naïve Bayes dan Classification and Regression Trees (CART) dalam mengklasifikasikan kualitas tahu menggunakan dataset yang dikumpulkan dari pabrik, yang berisi sampel tahu berkualitas tinggi dan rendah. Metodologi penelitian mencakup identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, preprocessing, klasifikasi, validasi, evaluasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Cross-validation digunakan untuk validasi model, dan confusion matrix digunakan untuk menilai precision, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa Naïve Bayes mencapai akurasi 91%, precision 100%, recall 85%, dan F1-score 92%, sedangkan CART mencapai akurasi 86%, precision 70%, recall 100%, dan F1-score 82%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Naïve Bayes lebih cocok untuk mengklasifikasikan kualitas tahu dalam konteks ini.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based donation box that can be monitored and controlled remotely through the Blynk platform. Conventional donation boxes typically rely on manual counting methods, which are prone to manipulation and errors, as well as vulnerabilities related to the use of traditional keys, such as loss or unauthorized duplication. To address these issues, this research proposes an IoT-enabled system designed to enhance both transparency and security. The research methodology includes a literature survey to understand IoT concepts and relevant technologies, as well as an evaluation of RFID readers and color sensors. Additionally, user requirements analysis and system design were conducted to ensure the accurate and relevant delivery of information. The expected outcome of this study is a prototype that enables real-time monitoring of donation box security, thereby improving reliability and safeguarding donations. Furthermore, this work is expected to serve as a reference for future research related to IoT-based security systems

Abstract

Air pollution remains a major environmental issue, with NH?, CO, and CO? among the most harmful gases produced by transportation, industry, and agriculture. Increased concentrations of these gases can threaten human health and ecosystems. This research aims to design a monitoring device to detect CO and CO? levels in the atmosphere using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. A prototype system was developed with an ESP8266 microcontroller, Gas sensor for gas detection, DHT22 sensor for temperature and humidity, and Fire sensor for fire detection. The collected data are processed using the C4.5 algorithm to classify air quality into five categories: good, moderate, unhealthy, very unhealthy, and hazardous. Results are displayed through the Blynk platform, allowing real-time monitoring and easy access for the public. The case study was conducted around the Samator plant in Subang, where the system demonstrated the ability to provide timely and accurate information on air conditions. This IoT-based solution is expected to improve community awareness of air pollution risks and serve as an initial step toward environmental monitoring and control

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) merupakan salah inovasi di bidang teknologi yang memanfaatkan konektivitas internet sebagai sarana penghubung antar perangkat agar dapat bertukar data secara otomatis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan dan pengimplementasian IoT di bidang smart home  melalui kajian systematic literature review. Proses pencarian literatur dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Harzing’s Publish or Perish dengan basis data Google Scholar dan kata kunci yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Dari hasil pencarian awal sebanyak 158 jurnal, proses seleksi dan penyaringan berdasarkan pedoman PRISMA 2020 menghasilkan 23 jurnal yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis lebih lanjut. Analisis keterkaitan istilah menggunakan VOSviewer menunjukkan tiga klaster utama penelitian, yaitu integrasi IoT dalam smart home, keamanan sistem, serta penerapan rumah pintar berbasis internet. Hasil klasifikasi menunjukkan bahwa fokus penelitian terbagi ke dalam empat tema utama, yaitu keamanan smart home (34,78%), kenyamanan dan otomatisasi (30,43%), integrasi sistem (30,43%), dan efisiensi energi (4,35%). Tema keamanan umumnya menyoroti sistem deteksi kebakaran berbasis sensor dan notifikasi real-time, sementara kenyamanan dan otomatisasi berfokus pada pengendalian perangkat rumah tangga melalui voice assistant dan aplikasi mobile. Aspek integrasi sistem menitikberatkan pada sinkronisasi perangkat melalui platform Android dan Telegram bot, sedangkan penelitian terkait efisiensi energi masih sangat terbatas. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian smart home berbasis IoT masih didominasi oleh pendekatan teknis dengan sedikit perhatian terhadap efisiensi energi dan keamanan data siber. Diperlukan pendekatan multidisipliner dan holistik yang mengintegrasikan aspek keamanan, kenyamanan, efisiensi energi, serta kecerdasan buatan untuk mewujudkan sistem smart home yang cerdas, aman, efisien, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The general election (Pemilu) is a fundamental element of a democratic system. This study develops and evaluates a blockchain-based e-voting system implementing AES-128 encryption to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of voting data. The system integrates AES-128 symmetric encryption for data at-rest and SHA-256 hashing at the blockchain layer. Testing was conducted on a simulated dataset containing 100,000 voting records to measure processing time, storage efficiency, and cryptographic resilience against brute-force and data manipulation attacks. Experimental results show an average read/processing time of 24 seconds for 100,000 records under the test server configuration, and theoretical security analysis indicates that brute-forcing AES-128 is impractical with current computational capabilities. The contribution of this research lies in the integrated design of an e-voting system that combines data encryption and distributed storage models with verification mechanisms, thereby enhancing the transparency and auditability of the election process.
