Abstract

Rice plants are plants that depend on rainfall because it affects the productivity and quality of rice plants. The purpose of this study is to forecast rainfall in order to determine the right time to plant rice. This study uses the Fuzzy Time Series-Markov Chain method which is a hybrid Fuzzy Time Series method with a markov chain stochastic process. This study uses monthly rainfall data in Kab. Mandailing Christmas from January 2017- December 2022 in mm (millimeter). The data was taken online from the official BPS-North Sumatra website. The results showed that the Fuzzy Time Series-Markov Chain method has a MAPE value of 4.30% which means it has a very good forecasting accuracy value because it is less than 10%. So it can be concluded that forecasting with FTS-MC is a fairly good method in predicting rainfall so that it can forecast for the following month.

Abstract

This study aims to see the management of PQ4R learning in improving students' mathematical understanding. This research is an experimental study. The population in this study was grade VIII MTs Negeri 2 Way Kanan students, the sample in this study was taken by random class technique, by lottery which aimed to take samples that had the same ability so that 37 students of grade VIII A were obtained as an experimental class using the PQ4R strategy and class VIII B totaling 39 students as a control class using expository strategies. After learning in the experimental class and control class for five meetings, continued with data collection. In the data collection process, the author uses tests, documentation and data analysis consisting of pretest and posttest. The research method used to see the magnitude of the influence, data analysis is calculated using the normalized gain formula (N-Gain) then to see the magnitude of the influence a t-test is carried out. The results showed that the average N-Gain obtained by the experimental class was 0.61 while the average gain of the control class was 0.54. Based on the results of analysis and data processing using the t-test, tcount =  2.633 > ttable = 1.992, with a significant level of 5%. Since t counts > ttable then Ho is rejected. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PQ4R strategy has a significant influence in improving the mathematical understanding of grade VIII MTs Negeri 2 Way Kanan students

Abstract

The problem that we often find in class is that students are less focused on learning mathematics, where teachers teach using conventional learning models. Students act as followers and passive recipients of the activities carried out. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a learning model that involves students in the teaching and learning process, so that they can develop the potential of each student independently. One of them is the problem posing learning model. The problem posing learning model is a learning model that requires students to compose their own questions or solve a problem. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there are differences in the mathematics learning outcomes of students who follow the problem posing learning model, whether there is an interaction effect between the application of the problem posing learning model and the belief in mathematics on learning outcomes, whether there are differences in learning outcomes between students who follow the problem posing learning model and students who follow conventional learning models in groups of students who have high mathematical confidence and low mathematical confidence. The results of hypothesis testing using two-way ANOVA. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it was found that 1) there were differences in the learning outcomes of students who took the problem posing learning model and those who followed the conventional learning model. 2) There is an interaction effect between the application of problem posing learning models and mathematical beliefs on learning outcomes. 3) There are differences in the learning outcomes of students who follow the problem posing learning model with students who follow conventional learning models in groups of students who have high mathematical confidence. 4) There is no difference in the learning outcomes of students who follow the problem posing learning model with students who follow the conventional learning model in groups of students who have low mathematical confidence.

Abstract

Networking is a method that can be used to optimize the planning and network of a manager to schedule and supervise work activities. By achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and can prevent customer turnover. Regression analysis is a statistical process for estimating the relationship between variables, namely in the form of modeling techniques and analyzing several variables on the basis of the form of the relationship between one dependent variable and one or more independent variable. The purpose of this study is to obtain a mathematical model of the purpose of this study is to obtain a mathematical model of networking and service quality on customer satisfaction and to find out what factors have the most influence on networking and service quality on customer satisfaction. The results of calculations using regression analysis obtained a mathematical model of networking and service quality on customer satisfaction, namely Y = 28,987 + 0.403(X1) + 0.155 (X2). Abstract

DHF case are diseases caused by four types of dengue virus, where each type has its own characteristics and pattern of spread. The purpose of this study is to make predictions on DHF cases in the future. This study uses the Multiplicative Decomposition method, in which this method breaks down time series data into four patterns, namely trend, seasonality, cycles and error. This research was conducted at RSU Haji Medan using DHF case data from January 2017 to December 2021. The results showed that the Multiplicative Decomposition method has an MSE value of 0,0012 and a MAPE value of 0,23%, which means it has a very good accuracy value because less than 10%. The conclusion of the study is that the Multiplicative Decomposition method is a method in the good category in predicting future DHF cases

Abstract

Online learning has several challenges such as the internet connection as well as convoluted explanations of math problems which oftentimes affect the capability of teacher to deliver the material optimally. For teachers, weaknesses and potential threats that have been mentioned then become a problem in finding solutions to maintain strengths and opportunities. Thus, the utilization of SWOT analysis was intended to identify all aspects of the application of courageous learning carried out by SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon. The research was conducted to achieve specific objectives, to describe SWOT aspects in the implementation of online learning on math subject in the 11th science class of SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon. The qualitative descriptive method was adapted in this study. The results showed that the implementation of online learning in a SWOT perspective had a correlation with time, costs and economic conditions, unconducive situations, learning resources, and learning motivation as well

Abstract

The development of palm oil production is quite rapid in Indonesia. The method used to estimate inventory costs in this study is the Monte Carlo Simulation method. Monte Carlo simulation is used in structuring optimal raw material policies. The purpose of this research is to predict and optimize raw material inventory costs for the future. The results of the total cost of raw material inventory by Monte Carlo Simulation Calculations are smaller than the total cost of inventory by company calculations. The total cost of preparation using Monte Carlo Simulation Calculations is Rp. 16,873,743,694. Meanwhile, the total calculation preparation costs obtained by the company amounted to Rp. 17,207,020,022, and savings of Rp. 333,276,328

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a multinational company manufactured semi-finished raw materials of cocoa commodities. The continuity of the production process is very imporant in terms of ensuring that customers will receive a timely supply according to the schedule. The technology for processing the cocoa product in general is still produced by the oversea companies, especially from European countries. To support the production process, the procurement of spare parts for routine maintenance (preventive maintenance) plays an imporant role. Because procurement of the spare parts still involves the original equipment manufacturer company directly from the oversea company, the determination of incoterms will affect impor costs which will be borne by the seller or buyer depend on the agreement. These costs will also consider risk handling of impored the goods. Based on data obtained, the determination of incoterms at PT. XYZ in procuring spare parts for production machines still follows the incoterms proposed by the seller along with the submission of the price of spare parts. In this research, an analysis will be carried out on selecting the right incoterms based on incoterms 2020 covering aspects of cost and risk that can be used by PT. XYZ for making decisions to impor the spare parts in the next order.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation as a developing country will not be able to progress as long as it does not improve the quality of our nation's human resources. The nation's quality of life can increase if it is supported by an established education system. So as to be able to think critically, creatively and productively to create an intelligent society. In general, many students obtain learning outcomes under the minimum completeness criteria caused by several factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are factors from within students such as learning motivation, student activity, talents and interests, discipline and responsibility. External factors or external factors such as the environment and instruments also affect learning outcomes. The instruments in question include curriculum, teachers, methods, strategies, infrastructure, learning support and parenting patterns. This research is classified as correlational research because the independent variables in this study are not directly controlled and occur or have existed before. The purposes of this study were (1) to determine the relationship between parenting style and learning outcomes in mathematics, (2) to determine the relationship between peer group interaction and learning outcomes in mathematics, (3) to determine the relationship between student activity and learning outcomes. mathematics, (4) to determine the relationship between parenting style, peer group interaction, student activity towards mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, it was obtained that F_count was 449.040 which was greater than F_table, which was 2.733 at a significance level of 5% (α=0.05). This means that F_count > F_table, then H_0 is rejected and H_adi is accepted, which means that there is a jointly significant relationship between parenting parents (X1), peer group interaction (X2) and student activity (X3) on learning outcomes for class VII SMPN 3 Abiansemal

Abstract

To improve the quality of education requires a mindset that is used as the basis for implementing the curriculum. Mathematics lessons are often considered by students as a subject that is very difficult and scary. Seeing this problem, it is necessary to make improvements so that the learning process becomes better so that it can improve the quality of learning, especially mathematics lessons. One way to increase student motivation and learning outcomes is with varied learning methods, for example problem-based learning models. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is learning that focuses on students as learners and on authentic or relevant problems that will be solved using all the knowledge they have or from other sources. The aims of this study were: (1) To find out whether the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model can increase the motivation to learn mathematics in class VIII students of SMPN 4 Mengwi. (2) To find out whether the problem based learning (PBL) learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class VIII SMPN 4 Mengwi. From the results of the implementation of the first cycle, it was known that students' learning motivation had increased, before the pre-action only 20% had high category learning motivation in cycle I increased to 50%. The results of cycle II can be seen that the acquisition of student learning motivation results that have reached the target indicator of success, namely ≥70% have high and or very high learning motivation. And the learning outcomes in the pre-action were 20% with an average of 62.5 then in the first cycle it reached 50% with an average of 69 and in the second cycle it reached 95% with an average of 89. Based on the results of the second cycle it can be seen that 95 % of the total number of students who have achieved the KKM and 5% of the total number of students in the class did not reach the KKM
