Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a tropical climate that is rich in fruits. One of the tropical fruit commodities in Indonesia is pineapple. Pineapple is most interest by public because price of the fruit is cheap, easy to obtain and has a distinctive aroma, taste, and color. Pineapple can be used as a medicinal plant. In the cultivation of pineapple plants, require the availability of good land and availability of seedlings that can be obtained in a vegetative and generative methods. Pineapple seeds obtained by generative means are fruit crowns, tiller shoots, root shoots, fruit shoots, stem cuttings. Meanwhile, pineapple seeds obtained by generative means are pineapple seeds. In pineapple cultivation carried out by pineapple farmers in Panribuan Village, Simalungun Regency, it is still based on farmer’s instincts and feelings, so that pineapple harvests often occur that are less than optimal, are not  resistant to pests, yields are less than optimal, harvest age becomes longer. With the alternatives that exist in the decision support system with the ORESTE method to select superior seeds of pineapple plants. A decision support system is one of the ways to organizing information  intended to be used in decisions  making. ORESTE is a method that was built for conditions where a set of alternatives will be sorted by criteria according to the levels of importance. From the calculation results obtained the best alternative is sapling shoots with the preference value of 1,547

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts and students' interest in learning by applying the CUPs learning model. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques carried out in this study used questionnaires, written tests, observations and interviews. Data analysis used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that there was an increase in the percentage of KKM in the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts and the percentage of students' learning interest. In cycle one, the percentage of KKM students' ability to understand mathematical concepts was 52.38% and in cycle two was 85.71%. This was also accompanied by an increase in student learning interest, namely in the first cycle of 71.43% and in the second cycle of student interest in learning, namely 90.48%. Therefore it can be concluded that through the CUPs learning model the ability to understand mathematical concepts and students' learning interest can be improved

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the difficulties of junior high school students in solving flat sided space problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The instruments in this study were mathematical problem solving questions on flat sided geometric material, and interview guidelines. The subjects of this study were 9 students of grade VIII junior high school. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling, namely by taking samples based on certain criteria. The results showed that students with low abilities had difficulty understanding questions, making plans for solving them and having difficulties implementing strategies or procedures to solve these problems. Students with moderate and high abilities have been able to carry out the problem solving process well. The results of this study provide recommendations that can be made to overcome students' difficulties in solving word problems including, training problem solving questions, developing teaching materials based on problem solving, providing scaffolding especially for students with low abilities, implementing various models and approaches based on problem solving abilities and using media learning

Abstract

This study aims to apply factor analysis to identify factors that affect consumer satisfaction with bread cider sales. Consumer satisfaction is a key factor that affects the success of a business, especially in the food and beverage industry. In the context of cider sales, factors that can affect consumer satisfaction include product quality, price, customer service, and brand image. The research method used is a survey using a structured questionnaire. The sample of this study is consumers who have purchased and consumed bread juice within a certain period of time. The collected data is analyzed using factor analysis techniques to identify factors that are significant in influencing consumer satisfaction. The results showed that there are several factors that play an important role in influencing consumer satisfaction with bread cider sales. These factors include product quality, affordable prices, friendly and responsive customer service, and a positive brand image. Product quality is the most dominant factor affecting customer satisfaction, followed by customer service and price. In addition, brand image also has a significant influence on consumer satisfaction. The results of this study have important implications for sari roti business managers in increasing consumer satisfaction and their sales. By understanding the factors that affect customer satisfaction, business managers can take strategic steps in improving product quality, improving customer service, and strengthening their brand image. This research can also be a reference for future research on consumer satisfaction in the food and beverage industry, especially in bakery products

Abstract

In learning activities at school we often find students who have learning difficulties, including students who have difficulty reading. Reading difficulties in learning mathematics will have an impact on students' understanding of mathematical concepts, one of the efforts that can be made to overcome these problems is to apply the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. This study aims to determine the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to learning mathematics for students with reading difficulties. The method used in this research is Single Subject Research (SSR) A-B design with the first condition Baseline (A) and the second condition B (Intervention). The results showed that the application of RME improved the understanding of mathematical concepts of students with reading difficulties in comparison materials

Abstract

This research is a Didactic Design Research (DDR) using qualitative methods. The subject of this study was 1 (one) student of grade X-2 SMA Negeri % Cirebon. The purpose of this study is to 1) know the didactic design to overcome the existing Ontogenic obstacles related to the Rank Number material, 2) find out the students' response in implementing didactic designs related to the power number material. The results of this study suggest that: 1) the didactic design made by the researcher consists of; Hypothetical didactic design 1 (contains materials, examples, and practice questions about power numbers), hypothetical didactic design 2 (contains materials, examples and practice questions about power numbers). 2) Students respond well to the implementation of didactic design, empirical didactic design is a combination of material and analysis of hypothetical didactic designs 1 and 2 that are successfully implemented well

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interactive digital module learning media on interest and learning outcomes in class IV SDN 2 Klesem material. The research approach used in this research is quantitative research, with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 27 fourth grade students at SDN 2 Klesem consisting of 11 female students and 16 male students. The instrument of interest in this study uses a questionnaire and learning outcomes use test scores. Data analysis techniques using the t test with a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of the t test analysis (Hypothesis 1 test), the t count (8.387) > t table (2.056) is obtained, and the p value (0.000) < 0.05, these results conclude that there is an effect of using interactive digital modules on interest in learning fraction material class IV SDN 2 Klesem. The results of the t test analysis (Hypothesis 2 test) obtained t count value (11.760) > t table (2.056), and p value (0.000) < 0.05, these results concluded that there was an effect of using interactive digital modules on learning outcomes for class fraction material IV SDN 2 Klesem

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang optimasi produksi Coco Fiber dari limbah kelapa menggunakan metode Preemptive Goal Programming dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai yaitu, memaksimalkan banyaknya produksi, meminimalkan biaya produksi, memaksimalkan keuntungan produk, dan memaksimumkan jam kerja pada mesin. Penyelesaian masalah pada penelitian ini dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan Metode Goal Programming dimana metode ini dapat menyelesaikan lebih dari satu tujuan, berbeda hal nya dengan program linear. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan prioritas tujuan atau sering disebut model Preemptive Goal Programming. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah, target penjualan tercapai, biaya produksi tidak melewati batasan yang telah ditargetkan yaitu sebesar Rp. 470.509.430,- dan keuntungan yang telah ditargetkan tercapai sebesar Rp. 744.130.570,- untuk jangka waktu 13 bulan, dan target memaksimumkan jam kerja pada mesin juga tercapai yaitu maksimal 203.810 menit penggunaan mesin dalam jangkauan waktu 13 bulan.

Abstract

This study examines the problem of learning effectiveness of the out side the box approach in solving creative problems in fifth semester mathematics education students at the University of Semarang in working on geometry problems. The sample technique used is cluster random sampling technique. The hypothesis test used is the one-sided test with the formula t test, completeness test, both tests are used to determine the effectiveness of learning. Based on the results of the study, the researchers draw the following conclusions; 1) Based on the results of this development research, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes in learning the out side the box approach in solving creative problems in mathematics education students in class VA are better than student learning outcomes in conventional learning class VB. 2) Based on the learning outcomes data for class students who use the out side the box learning approach in solving creative problems in mathematics education students seen from the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes achieving completeness

Abstract

Poverty is a special problem that needs to be discussed in Indonesia. Because poverty that occurs in a certain area will have an impact on development in Indonesia. Banten province has a percentage of 6.04 percent with a total poverty of 576.62 thousand poor people. Given this, the Provincial Government of Banten requires knowledge of district/city socio-economic data in Banten Province. This study aims to cluster regencies/cities in Banten Province using the K-Means method. The K-Means method is a clustering technique that aims to group data based on the same characteristics. The variables observed in this study were the percentage of poor people aged 15 and over who had graduated from elementary/junior high school, the percentage of poor people aged 15 and over who had finished high school and above, the percentage of poor people aged 15 and over by district/city not working, the percentage of poor people aged 15 Years and over by district/city working in the informal sector, percentage of poor population aged 15 and over by district/city working in the formal sector, percentage of expenditure per capita for food by district/city and poor status. the results of the analysis showed that the district/city poverty clustering in Banten Province using the K-means method obtained 2 clusters, namely cluster 1 consisting of Tangerang City, Cilegon City and South Tangerang City and cluster 2 consisting of Pandeglang Regency, Lebak Regency, Tangerang, Serang Regency, Serang City. And formation 2 cluster has a good structural test value based on the results of the silhouette index so that 2 cluster has the best accuracy value compared to 3 clusters and 4 cluster.
