Abstract

The goal of this study is to explain the distinctions between the types of noun phrases and how they are used in English and Indonesian. This study was based on the observation that university-level students frequently make errors while adapting the grammar of their home language (L1) to that of the target language (L2), particularly when translating noun phrases (NP) from English to Indonesian. In the research process, content analysis is used. The scientific text "The Legend of Batu Gantung" and its translated version served as the research data source. A person is hanged from a tree in the Batu Hanging tradition, which originates in the Lake Toba region of North Sumatra. There was a legend about a stunning young woman named Seruni. He killed himself because his father would wed him to either his pariban or his namboru child. Nouns are the words used to refer to individuals, places, or objects in the English language. A noun phrase (NP) is a collection of words that operates like a noun, typically including a noun and a modifier (such as an adjective, adverb, or article). In Indonesia, there are several different kinds of noun phrases, including Modificative, Coordinative, and Appositive NPs. While Head, Determiners, Premodifiers, and Postmodifiers are used in English. The study's findings demonstrate that there are differences in NP usage in English and Indonesian in addition to NP type.

Abstract

It is simpler for vendors to advertise and market their goods to a larger audience online. Due to how simple it is to get information online, sales of fiction and non- fiction books are one of the industries that have begun to decline. Therefore, an online sales system is required to assist both purchasers and sellers of books, notably fiction and non-fiction books. It will be possible for resellers to market their books with the aid of this method for selling fiction and non-fiction books. The SDLC approach and the business process system employ UML as their tools to develop or construct a book selling system. The system created for this study is web- and mobile-based, including web-based administrators and a mobile system for resellers and clients. As a consequence of this study, a system that can handle all online book sales procedures for both fiction and nonfiction books has been developed.

ADHD, also known as Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactivity in Indonesian, is a psychiatric condition that makes sufferers less able to focus and more prone to excessive activity or being unable to sit still than average persons. Many people are still unaware that if a youngster exhibits excessive behavior and has poor concentration, the child may have ADHD. The system's creation aims to make it simpler to diagnose diseases so that they can be stopped before they start and their symptoms can be treated. The technique makes use of the MySQL database, PHP programming language, and NBC (Naive Bayes Classifier). Black box testing of a system. By showing the percentage of symptoms, Nave Bayes values, and disease solutions, the results provide an expert system for diagnosing ADHD in kids using the Naive Bayes approach.
