Abstract

The Relationship between Service Quality and Inpatient Satisfaction at Kabanjahe Hospital Kab. Karo in 2019. Thesis, Department of Public Health, Faculty of Public Health, Deli Husada Deli Tua Health Institute. (Supervised by Ns. Megawati Sinambela, S.Kep.,M.Kes) Background: The hospital is a complete and complex health service center. Hospitals are very close to human life so that wherever they are located, hospitals are almost never empty. According to Article 1 of Law Number 14 of 2009, a hospital is a health service institution that provides complete individual health services that provide inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. This study aims to determine that there is a relationship between service quality and inpatient satisfaction. at Kabanjahe Hospital, Kab. Karo of 2019. Methods: This type of research is using a quantitative research design, so the research uses a cross sectional approach, which is a study to study the dynamics of the correlation between the independent variable and the dependent variable by means of an observation approach or data collection at once (point time approach). .. The sampling technique is accidental sampling, which is done by taking cases or respondents who happen to exist or are available in a place according to the research context. Where the sample in this study were 80 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaire sheets and respondent observation sheets. The data analysis technique used Chi-Square. Results: a significant relationship with the dependent variable, namely patient satisfaction, obtained by respondents who answered quite well as many as 54, the highest among all variables with p = 0.000 and , it was stated that there was a significant relationship between the relationship between health service quality and patient satisfaction at Kabanjahe Hospital Kab. Karo of 2019. Conclusion: This study means that there is a significant relationship between the relationship between the quality of health services and patient satisfaction at Kabanjahe Hospital Kab. Karo of 2019.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between workload and work stress of nurses at the Teratai Medical Center Clinic. Work load is the ability possessed by individuals to complete a work demand that must be completed at a certain time. Job stress is a reaction to a person's inability to adapt and cope with stressors due to changes experienced. The research design used in this study was an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 38 respondents with a sample of 38 respondents with the sampling technique using total sampling. Data collection was carried out by using a workload and work stress questionnaire. Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, it was found that there was a significant relationship between workload and work stress. This can be seen from the results of statistical tests carried out with the Chi-Square test, namely the p value (sig) 0.026 <a = 0.05, this means that the proposed hypothesis has a relationship between workload and work stress. There is a relationship between workload and work stress on nurses at the Teratai Medical Center Clinic.

Abstract

The Characteristics of Employees Related to the Accuracy and Completeness of Filling in Medical Record Documents at the Pardamean Health Center, Pematangsiantar City in 2019. Thesis, Department of Public Health, Faculty of Public Health, Health Institute of Deli Husada Deli Tua .(Supervised by: Ns. Selamat Ginting, S.Kep, M.Kes) The quality of medical records at the hospital is one determining factor of the quality of service. The aim of the research was to analyze the relationship between the employment status, knowledge, motivation, expertise, and the duration of work of the physician with the completeness of the medical record datasheet resume during hospitalization. This research was a quantitative research survey analytic approach, with a cross-sectional study design. The population was 55 doctors, the sample in this study was the entire population, data analysis was chi-square, and multiple logistic regressions. The results showed that there was a relationship between employment status and knowledge with the completeness of the medical record data. There was no relationship between motivation and skills with the completeness of the medical record data. There was a relationship between the duration of work with the completeness of the medical record data. This study suggests the development of human resources through education and training, guidance to the physicians on the filling of medical record and document, provide internal training regarding the determination of the main diagnosis in accordance with the ICD-10, improved knowledge of the completeness of filling medical records. Motivating doctors fill medical records through career development, promotion, and providing feedback with reward and punishment.

Abstract

Factors Associated with the Quality of Public Health Services at Mitra Medika Amplas General Hospital Medan in 2021. Thesis, Department of Public Health, Faculty of Public Health, Deli Husada Delitua Health Institute. This study aims to analyze the relationship of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy with the quality of health services at RSU Mitra Medika Amplas Medan. The population of this study were patients at Mitra Medika Amplas Hospital, Medan. In the sample can be 99 respondents. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The method used in this study was analyzed by Chi-Square test. The results of the research on tangible variables in the good category reached 79.3%. The reliability variable obtained 80.3%. The responsiveness variable was obtained 78.5%. Assurance variable obtained 80.5%. Empathy variable obtained 78.9%. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy variables with the quality of health services at Mitra Medika Amplas Medan General Hospital in 2021.

Abstract

Hands are one of the media where the entry of germs. One of the diseases that can be transmitted through hands is Covid-19. Minimizing the risk of disease transmission can be done by improving personal hygiene by washing hands, especially during this pandemic. This study is to analyze the relationship between the application of the mandatory hand washing area and the personal hygiene behavior of employees during the pandemic in Sei Kera Hilir II Village, Medan in 2021. This type of research is analytic with a cross sectional approach which is carried out by collecting data through questionnaires. Sampling with the Total Sampling technique as many as 25 respondents. Data processing with chi square test. Statistical tests show that of the 25 respondents in Sei Kera Hilir II Medan, there are 16 respondents (64%) who have good knowledge about the importance of implementing mandatory hand washing areas, 7 respondents (28%) who have sufficient knowledge about the importance of implementing mandatory hand washing areas and 2 respondents (8%) who have less knowledge about the importance of implementing mandatory hand washing areas. There are 9 respondents (36%) who have good personal hygiene behavior, there are 14 respondents (56%) who have sufficient personal hygiene behavior and there are 2 respondents (8%) who have poor personal hygiene behavior. From the results of the statistical test, the p value = 0.005 or <0.05. So from these results, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a relationship between the knowledge variable about the application of the mandatory hand washing area and the personal hygiene behavior of employees in Sei Kera Hilir II Village in 2021. There is a significant relationship between the application of the mandatory hand washing area and personal hygiene behavior.

Abstract

Ginting, Elisabet. Relationship between School Health Business (UKS) and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) for IV, V, VI class students from SDN 0 3936 Brand Situngaling. Thesis of the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Public Health, Deli Husada Deli Tua Health Institute (Supervision Ns. Nurmala Sari, SST, M.Kes) The method used is the analytical correlation with a transversal approach. The population of this study consisted of grade IV, V, V1 students in SDN 043936, for a total of 56 students sampled by simple random sampling technique. The independent variables in this study were the role of School Health Companies (UKS) and the dependent variable was the application of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in grades IV, V, VI. Data collection via questionnaire. Data processing by editing, coding, scoring and tabulation with the Spearman Rank statistical test. The results of this study indicate that 56 respondents who performed well in the UK were 56 respondents (26.8%), while nearly half of the PHBS respondents were up to 15 respondents (6.9%). Sperman Rank test results obtained pylt; 0.05, p = 0.013, so H1 was accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the role of the School Health Unit (UKS) and the implementation of clean and healthy behavior (PHBS) in students of grades IV, V, VI. Schools are expected to suggest that schools can increase UKS activities to raise student awareness of the importance of PHBS.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze related factors based on technology, human, organizational, and benefit variables with the Inhibitors of Management Information Systems and Integrated Administration Management at Sidikalang Hospital in 2021. The population of this study were Sidikalang Hospital officers in the outpatient, inpatient, Medical records, and SIMRS officers as many as 35 respondents. The method used in this study was analyzed by means of the Chi-Square correlation test. The results of the research on the technology variable showed that the majority said it was good as many as 32 people (91.4%). For the human factor, the majority stated that it was good as many as 27 people (77.1%). For organizational factors, the majority said it was good as many as 24 people (68.6%). the majority of the benefit factors stated that they were good as many as 20 people (57.1%). So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between technological factors, human factors, organizational factors and benefit factors with the Inhibitors of Integrated Management Information Systems and Administration Management at Sidikalang Hospital in 2021.

Abstract

Nurses are the spearhead of whether or not the health services provided to patients are good because for 24 hours the nurse always interacts with the patient. The success of nursing services and services is largely determined by the performance of the nurses, so that an increase in the performance of nurses is necessary and must always be carried out through a standardized system so that the results are more optimal. One of the efforts to improve the performance or quality of health services, in this case nurses, needs job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction on nurses during the COVID 19 pandemic at the BNN Deli Serdang Rehabilitation Workshop in 2020. This type of research is a quantitative study with an analytical observational research design designed in a cross sectional manner. The population of this study were 14 nursing staff both ASN and PPNPN who worked at the Deli Serdang Rehabilitation Center. Data collection was carried out using primary data and secondary data. The research instrument was a questionnaire sheet. The data were then processed and analyzed using the Spearman test and multiple linear regression. After doing the research, the results show that sig. = 0.001 for the salary variable, sig = 0.046 for the promotion variable, sig. = 0.036 for the monitoring variable, sig. = 0.008 for the peer-to-peer relationship variable and sig = 0.853 for the job variable itself. The conclusion is that there is an effect of salary, promotion, supervision and peer-to-peer relations on the performance of nurses, but there is no effect of the work itself on the performance of nurses. So it is suggested to the BNN Deli Serdang Rehabilitation Workshop to increase the amount of salary and especially in providing fairer incentives, because salary is job satisfaction that has the greatest influence on nurses in implementing nursing care.

Abstract

Many factors cause the public health status in Indonesia is still low, including the community has not utilized health service facilities optimally, including the Namorambe Health Center is one of the health centers in Deli Serdang Namorambe Regency with the lowest number of visits and fluctuates every year from 2016-2018. . The type of research used is a survey with an explanatory research type to explain the influence of predisposing factors (knowledge, attitudes, and health beliefs), enabling factors (distance), and reinforcing factors (attitudes of health workers) towards the utilization of Community Health Centers in the working area of ​​the Namorambe Health Center, Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2020. The population is all heads of families who live in the working area of ​​the Namorambe Health Center as many as 4,069 families. A sample of 93 families was taken using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using a logistic regression test. The results showed that as many as 13 respondents (14.0%) used the Puskesmas and 80 respondents (86.0%) did not use the Namorambe Health Center. Based on the bivariate test in this study, it showed that the variables of knowledge (p = 0.001), attitude (p = 0.030) and health beliefs (p = 0.041) Namorambe Health Center, Deli Serdang Regency 2020. Suggestions are expected for employees and health workers at the puskesmas to improve and maintain good services to increase public perceptions of the available health service system.

Abstract

Nurse turnover is the discharge of nurses from one hospital to another which is considered better than the previous hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine what factors influence the turnover of honorary nurses at the TNI - AD Hospital with a cross sectional research design. The total population and sample of the study were 78 nurses. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate method, bivariate with chi square test and multivariate with logistic regression test. The results showed that from 78 nurses as many as 67 (85.9%) said that the basic salary received was not proportional to the workload they did. The basic salary received is still the minimum regional wage so that it can lead to turnover for honorary nurses. The factor of turnover based on incentives was 42 nurses (53.8%) with categories still below Rp. 500,000 received, 69 nurses (88.5%) had never experienced a promotion during work and 66 nurses (84.6%) had never experience work conflict. The results of the bivariate analysis obtained are that the factors that influence the occurrence of turnover are basic salary with a p value of <0.05. The results of multivariate analysis showed that basic salary was the most dominant factor in the occurrence of turnover in honorary nurses with a coefficient value (10,034). Policies are needed in fair promotion and re-evaluation of the compensation system in accordance with the length of work and level of education.
