Abstract

This community engagement initiative aims to assess the extent of the understanding among the academic community of Sekolah Pelayaran Bhakti Samudera regarding the reporting of Article 21 personal income tax (PPh 21). The level of understanding was gauged through the distribution of a questionnaire, which included inquiries about the registration of taxpayers within the Sekolah Pelayaran Bhakti Samudera environment and participants' comprehension of taxation and their tax obligations. The taxpayer registration process will assist the community engagement team in developing materials for socialization and assistance in filing individual income tax returns (SPT PPh Orang Pribadi) to be conducted in the future. Based on the questionnaire, data were obtained from 26 participants, with 61.5% of them having a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), while the rest did not possess an NPWP. This aligns with the condition of the academic community in the school, which typically earns income below the Non-Taxable Income Threshold (PTKP). Regarding the understanding of tax reporting, the academic community at Sekolah Pelayaran Bhakti Samudera still lacks a solid grasp of the subject. A total of 20 respondents out of 26 participants exhibited a low level of understanding of tax reporting. Consequently, many members of the academic community remain unfamiliar with the tax reporting obligations of individual taxpayers with NPWP. This situation is further supported by the school's practice of not providing PPh 21 withholding tax slip due to the academic community's income falling below the PTKP threshold.

Abstract

This literature review aims to provide insights into the utilization of environmental accounting within the healthcare sector. The primary objective is to comprehensively analyze the prior study to understand the rationale, methodologies, and results associated with implementing environmental accounting practices within hospital settings. The research methodology employed in this evaluation encompassed a comprehensive analysis of the relevant scholarly literature. The literature review findings indicate that hospitals utilize environmental accounting methods for a range of purposes, such as ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, achieving financial savings, enhancing their reputation, and fulfilling their social responsibilities. This paper also investigates the methodologies and tools commonly utilized in hospital settings for environmental accounting. These include carbon accounting, waste management accounting, energy consumption monitoring, and eco-efficiency analysis. This study investigates the impact of environmental accounting on hospitals' financial reports and decision-making processes. The use of environmental accounting practices can have a significant effect on the resource allocation, investment decisions, and long-term strategic planning of healthcare organizations. This literature analysis highlights the imperative for further research in this domain and underscores the increasing importance of environmental accounting within healthcare institutions. The findings underscore the significance of incorporating sustainability into the management practices of hospitals, indicating that implementing environmental accounting methods can substantially influence the financial and environmental performance of healthcare organizations

Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to critically evaluate recent research on strategic management (SM) in pandemic situations and to suggest potential future possibilities for SM research in the hospitality and tourist (HT) sector. The current state of SM research in the HT field was examined critically in this study, along with potential future prospects. SM research with an HT focus still has a weak social structure. The field's scientific development has slowed down because there aren't many top researchers in it. Finally, researchers in the HT field should publish their findings in prestigious academic publications that cover both the HT and mainstream fields. This study uses VOSviewer to display how bibliometric analysis of multiple older articles was used to define strategic management in the hospitality and tourist industry. The results indicate that strategic management research in the hospitality and tourist sectors has advanced during the course of the study; nonetheless, there is still a gap between the two sectors' strategic management research.

Abstract

Recently, many people have been using Instagram. Instagram is social media that allows users to share photos. Instagram can be used as a marketing communication through sharing photos of products that will sell. Instagram allows consumers to view photos of products and can directly comment below the photo of the desired product. This research aimed to determine how Instagram was chosen as a medium of marketing communication. This research used a qualitative approach to obtain in-depth results and seven strategies to rigorous the methods. This research chose Instagram because Instagram become one of the social media that growing rapidly. After the coding process, there founded four keywords: the reason Instagram was chosen, Instagram benefits, the use of endorsement, and disadvantage endorsement. This research found that endorsement on Instagram has three components that are subject to attribute endorsement: trustworthiness, respect, and similarity.

Abstract

Food is a basic human need that comes from natural resources and most of it is also produced by home industries which have been processed into various types of food. The high demand for food has become a very important concern for the government to ensure that food is safe for consumption by all consumers. One form of guarantee issued by the government is a PIRT (home industrial food) permit. PIRT is a food production permit produced by home industry scale businesses. This permit is an official letter issued by BPOM (Food and Drug Monitoring Agency). The problem experienced by the "Ramajaya" Sweet Sticky Tape Producer is that he does not yet have a PIRT permit for the business he is running so he is still having difficulty marketing his products to various mini markets and supermarkets in Sidorjo Regency because he does not yet have production guarantees in the form of PIRT and the packaging used as well. still simple and not by government standards. This community service aims to help the business of the "Ramajaya" Sweet Glutinous Tape Producer to obtain a legal permit for products suitable for distribution in the form of a PIRT permit from the government through assistance in obtaining a PIRT permit at the Sidoarjo Regency Health Service office and also providing outreach regarding the importance of PIRT and providing options for change the packaging used.

Abstract

Railways in Indonesia still show problems, such as time delays. To make train services in Indonesia better, government efforts are needed, one of which is the development of new infrastructure, such as the construction of a double-track train such as Sepanjang to Mojokerto segment. So it is necessary to analyze the level of service both in existing conditions and after construction. The analysis was carried out in two conditions, namely, full single track and full double track. For full double-track reference, a simulation is carried out with an auxiliary program, namely the Railway Operation Simulator (ROS). By entering data in the form of station layouts, train facilities, and signaling systems and blocks. Based on the analysis results, it shows that the double track in the Sepanjang-Mojokerto segment affects the level of service. The prediction of service levels for the Sepanjang-Mojokerto segment shows that three road plots have LoS A. So, overall, with the construction of the double track, this segment is operating below capacity and has low traffic.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a literature review of previous research on factors that influence stock returns at the time of an IPO. This literature review uses nine articles from 2017-2022 in the journal database. This literature review finds factors influencing stock returns during initial public offerings, intellectual capital disclosure, company growth opportunities, research and development (R&D), underwriter reputation, market conditions, percentage of shares offered, and profitability. Future researchers should enrich the journal database further for perfect literature reviews.

Abstract

The development of post-disaster residential building prototypes is a build-ing design prototype intended for disaster homes that have been designed in previous research. The next research that’s improved on the aspect of reliability in terms of the use of structures, materials, and construction used in the prototype that's can be applied in the field according to the needs of users who are comfortable and safe. To find the optimal building design from the aspect of building safety so that it does not collapse, it is necessary to take into the aspects of equilibrium of form, geometric stability, and rigidity shape that can stand upright and function when inhabited. The composition of the building elements consists of floor, wall, and roof elements that are composed of building materials using light weight steel. The structural arrangement used uses the truss method as a structural system that is simple and easy to implement. To get confidence that the building can stand upright and not collapse due to the loads acting on it, it is necessary to do an analysis using the problem-solving analysis method in stages on the building structure. The treatment results found that the level of displacement of the building caused by horizontal loads did not significantly affect the shape of the building, meaning that the building could still function according to its use. The use of light steel material for the Canal C-75 Smart Truss Classic Frame which is used as a roof frame and wall structure is still able to overcome vertical or horizontal loads acting on the building. This is done so that the confidence that the planned building prototype can be implemented safely in the field as expected.
