Journal of Education on Social Science (JESS) ISSN: 2622-0741 (Print), ISSN 2550-0147 (Electronic) is a peer-reviewed journal and published biannually (twice in a year): April and October by the Faculty of Social Science, Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia. The journal aims to publish research and theoretical articles within the field of social science education, and to analyze a range of contemporary educational issues on social science. The content of this international journal offers a genuinely valuable source for educationist and educational scientists in all areas looking for fresh ways of dealing with familiar problems. <![CDATA[This study’s purpose was to identify : (1) the effect of family environment on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency; (2) the effect of school environment on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency; (3) the effect of community environment on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency; (4) the effect of an environment of family, environment of the school, and environment of the community simultaneously on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency. The background of this research was because there were still many employee integrity problems found in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency. This research type was quantitative research using statistical analysis. The research variable used the independent variable, namely the social environment, while the dependent variable was integrity. This research population was employees at the OPD Tanah Datar Regency. The total sample in the study amounted to 97 employees. The technique for data collection in this research was a questionnaire distributed to respondents through the measurement of the Likert scale. The research analysis uses a multiple linear regression test using SPSS software version 26.0. The research results indicated that: (1) There was a significant influence of the family environment on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency. (2) There was a significant influence of the school environment on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency. (3) There was a significant influence of the environment of the community on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency and (4) There were significant influences of the environments of family, school, and community simultaneously on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[As the executor of government policies, the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) upholds the principles that have been established based on the laws and regulations, one of which is the principle of neutrality. However, violations of ASN neutrality cannot be avoided, this problem is influenced by various motives. The Regional Head Election (pilkada) in Solok district in 2020. To see these motives, the authors conducted research using descriptive qualitative methods. Informants from the research were determined by purposive sampling technique. Data were taken by interview, observation, and documentation. Then the data is processed by source triangulation. So that the research results show that violations of ASN neutrality occur due to internal motives and external motives. The internal motives are the desire to get a better position and the emotional closeness between ASN and the candidate pair. Internally, the position is threatened if it does not side with one of the candidates who are predicted to win. The limited authority of Bawaslu in terms of following up on ASN who commits a violation is a gap for ASN to commit a violation]]>

<![CDATA[This study is intended to analyze the influence of the work environment during the Covid-19 pandemic on employee performance at the Sub-district IV Nagari Office, Sijunjung Regency, this study uses quantitative methods of associative methods, quantitative data were collected using a likert scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The population of this study was 31 employees at the Sub-district IV Nagari Office, Sijunjung Regency. The samples in this study used total sampling. Then it is analyzed using simple linear regression. In this study, it can be seen that there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of the work environment during the Covid-19 pandemic on employee performance variables at the Sub-district IV Nagari Office, Sijunjung Regency, which have been tested with a significance of 0.000, smaller than < 0.05 and the calculation of > t table or 10.303 > 2,045.]]>

<![CDATA[A synchronous hybrid learning space combines traditional on-site and online learning into a single learning experience to promote effective learning for both on-site and online students concurrently. It is a flexible, accessible, and engaging learning environment. There is a dearth of research on the factors that influence synchronous hybrid learner learning satisfaction as compared to traditional on-site or online learning environments. The relationship between student engagement, student motivation with student learning satisfaction in synchronous hybrid learning space was underexplored although these student learning competencies were noticeably strong predictors of student learning satisfaction in the full on-site or online settings. Hence, this study aimed to explore predictive learning competencies for student learning satisfaction in synchronous hybrid learning. A cross-sectional method was employed to collect quantitative data from 169 students of a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institute located in Kuching, Sarawak at a given point in time. These respondents’ learning competencies and learning satisfaction in synchronous hybrid learning spaces were investigated. The research findings showed that student engagement (i.e., emotional, cognitive, and behavioural) and student motivation (i.e., intrinsic goal orientation, extrinsic goal orientation, and self-efficacy) which are found predictive in traditional on-site and online learning settings can be applied in synchronous hybrid learning space as well. The results of this study were intended to guide practices and policies related to the design and implementation of synchronous hybrid learning to add value and further substantiate the potential of this learning space.]]>

<![CDATA[Conflict is unavoidable. Regardless of the nature of the conflict, war is the last alternative when the peace effort has failed to take. Russia's attack on Ukraine is the last stage in resolving the conflict due to the failure of peace negotiations between the two sides. This study aims to analyze the national interest of Russia in invading Ukraine through the perspective of realism. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique is secondary data through documentation or literature study. In this case, the researcher conducted previous research with the research topic studied from scientific articles in libraries and cyberspace. This study's results indicate an iceberg phenomenon in Russia's national interest in invading Ukrainian territory. Western expansion into the territory of Ukraine has created a security dilemma for Russia, so the war is used as momentum for Russia to achieve its national interests. Through the war, Russia played zero-sum to achieve its national interests, as a balance of power from Western powers, power expansion into the territory of Ukraine, and the power struggle. The armed conflict between the two countries is a challenge that must face by countries around the world, including Indonesia. In response to it, Indonesia used an independent-active principle based on Indonesia's national interests.]]>

<![CDATA[Poverty and the level of social welfare are often problems that are often faced by every country. Various efforts, both in the form of programs and policies, have been made by the government to overcome this problem. In Indonesia, one of the efforts to overcome this problem is to issue a Family of Hope (PKH) policy and program. So the purpose of this article is to discuss the effect of the family hope program on people's welfare. This research uses quantitative methods with associative quantitative types. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale questionnaire supported by a documentation study. Using the Simple Random Sampling technique and the Yamane formula, a sample of 61 respondents was determined. Regression analysis is used to analyze field data that has previously been tested with classical assumptions. The results showed that the Family Hope Program (PKH) positively and significantly affects the welfare of the people in Kubung District, Solok Regency, with an influence contribution of 0.315 or 31.5%.]]>

<![CDATA[Land acquisition for the construction of toll roads is a key component of growth, however property acquisition has run into challenges. One of these challenges is that there hasn't been an adequate amount of community involvement and social and political studies of the impacted communities, which puts the community at risk while also impeding the efficient building of toll roads. With the use of the variables of community culture, political will, land governance, and community involvement in the decision-making process, this study tries to explain the elements that affect the decision-making process in land acquisition planning. The research strategy is a quantitative. 325 respondents completed questionnaires distributed to the impacted neighborhoods, which were used to gather research data. The data was then analyzed using structural equation models (Structural Equation Models) utilizing the AMOS application and the Sobel test. According to the study's findings, the decision-making process was significantly influenced by community culture, political will, and land governance. In light of community cultural characteristics such as political will, land governance, and community involvement, the study's conclusion shows that a model for land acquisition policy decision-making exists.]]>

<![CDATA[In Public sector management, public service has the main goal to realize good service by equity theory. At this time, equity theory is considered relevant because it can describe the relationship between customer perceptions of the distribution of human resources (employees). This employee’s perceptions was demanded that the employees must exhibit their capability which representation through professionalism and timeliness of employees. The novelty of this research is responsiveness as an intervening variable to increase public service. The ability of the employee to solve customer problems also to be customer assessment of service quality, especially in terms of responsiveness. In-depth, good service describe an employee’s timeliness in responding to customer needs, which one aspect to realize customer satisfaction. The objective of this research is to prove the implementation of professionalism and timeliness in increasing customer satisfaction through responsiveness as an intervening variable. This research used a quantitative method with a survey strategy. The research is located at the Class II Immigration office of Agam, West Sumatera. Data was collected using a valid and reliable questionnaire. Then, Data was analyzed using path analysis. The result of the research explains that there are influences of professionalism and timeliness as direct and indirect toward customer satisfaction.]]>

<![CDATA[Infidelity is the main cause of divorce in West Java, which harms individuals, especially wives who are victims of infidelity. In response to infidelity, wives are more likely to react with intense emotions that tend to last a long time, and it is easier to recall the incident, thus requiring more attention. The subjects of this study were 55 individuals whose wives were aged 18-40 years and had experiences of being cheated on and domiciled in the city of Bandung. This study aimed to describe the effect of Attachment Styles on the Marital Satisfaction of wives who had been cheated on in Bandung. The research method used is quantitative. The measuring instrument used to obtain individual Attachment Styles is The Experience in Close Relationships-Revised (ECR-R) Questionnaire, which consists of 36 items referring to the theory of Bartholomew and Horitz and consists of 36 items. The measuring instrument used to obtain the degree of individual Marital Satisfaction is ENRICH MARITAL SATISFACTION, compiled by Olson & Fowers (1993), consisting of 15 items with 4 answer choices. Subjects in this study will be given both questionnaires. After that, the results of the two questionnaires will be analyzed using a simple regression method. The results showed that attachment style strongly influences and can predict 31% of marital satisfaction in wives cheated on.]]>

<![CDATA[Good financial management by minimizing findings is determined by the selection of the right model. This study aims to develop a policy formula for financial management patterns with Sharia principles in the Bogor City Regional General Hospital. The qualitative research method uses the decision-making method with Analytic Network Process (ANP) to determine the financial management policy model with Sharia principles. This research was conducted through interviews and focus group discussions. The results obtained show that the Islamic financial management model, in part, has the highest priority with cluster restrictions reaching 0.191007. So that the chosen Islamic financial management formula is financial management with partial Islamic principles. This research provides a new breakthrough regarding the application of Sharia policy. The application of Sharia can be carried out in stages with the Sharia model in advance. This will have an impact on the ease of implementing Sharia because it does not need to be full of all the difficulties. Partial implementation of Sharia is still considered a strong enforcement effort to step up to become perfect Sharia.]]>
