Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study is to know influence of remuneration to POLRI officer performance in Police Resort of Tebo. Quantitative descriptive research survey approach. Respondents as many as 33 Polices officer at Detective and Crime Unit of Kepolisian Resort Tebo. In this research uses the sample withdrawal Total Sampling. The results showed: (1) t test > t table as number as 9.272 > 2.040, and H0 rejected and H1 be accepted. It’s mean Remuneration variable has influence to performance of Police Officer at at Detective and Crime Unit of Kepolisin Resort Tebo. Data Analysis use simple correlation model resulted cooficient determinant (R2) 0,735 or 73, 5%. To show ability of independent variable (remunation) explained dependent variable (performance). while 22,5 % influent by others variable.

Abstract

This Suzuki Restu Mahkota Karya (RMK) Dealer in Sukabumi Regency is engaged in trading and service companies. This marketing strategy is very important for the continuity of the company and to be able to increase product sales so that the sales profit will increase as much as possible. From the report on the sales of Pick Up cars from January to December 2017, for the City and Sukabumi Regency areas with the implementation of this marketing strategy, the sales of Pick-up cars that are in great demand for the City area are Gunung Puyuh District, Warudoyong, Baros, Cibeureum . While for the Regency area are Cibadak, Parungkuda, Jampang Kulon, Nagrak, Sukabumi, Cicurug and Surade sub-districts. Abstract

The present study endeavored to examine whether reading anxiety, reading self-efficacy and vocabulary contribute towards students’ reading comprehension and which one of these factors that serves as the better predictor of students’ reading comprehension among 82 the second semester students of English department at Halu Oleo University. Questionnaires are employed for measuring students’ reading anxiety and reading self-efficacy, vocabulary test for measuring students’ vocabulary. Whereas, reading comprehension test for measuring students’ reading comprehension. The result revealed reading anxiety contributes towards students’ reading comprehension, reading self-efficacy contributes towards students’ reading comprehension and vocabulary contributes towards students’ reading comprehension. Vocabulary is higher than reading anxiety and reading self-efficacy in predicting students’ reading comprehension when these factors are examined simultaneously. Importantly, this study leads to the conclusion that vocabulary is better and stronger predictor of students’ reading comprehension than students’ reading anxiety and students’ reading self-efficacy. Taking importance of vocabulary into consideration, therefore language teachers should put more emphasize on students’ vocabulary, particularly endeavor to make their vocabulary knowledge wider and deeper.

Abstract

This research aims to know and analyze the effect of the price and promotion to purchasing decision of SkinCare Novage in PT Ayu (Oriflame Swedan) Medan. The phenomenon of instability SkinCare Novage product caused by the high price and stagnant promotional motivate researcher to do this research. Analysis Methods of this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The technique of sample determination is simple random sampling. The results of the analysis found that the promotion affects buying decision most dominant. This is proved by the results of the calculation hypotheses on t- test and f-test. The results showed that either price or the promotion effects purchasing decision of SkinCare Novage partially and significantly on PT Orindo Alam Ayu (Oriflame Swedan) Medan. Price and promotion are also effect purchasing decision of SkinCare Novage simultaneously on PT Orindo Alam Ayu (Oriflame Swedan) Medan

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of service quality, promotion and product quality on costumer loyalty at Alfamart. The population of this research is the Alfamart customers in West Jakarta which is unlimited.The survey method has been done for 50 respondents that accidentally shopped to Alfamart. The collected data have been analyzed by correlation test, t- test and F test.The results from the correlation test analyses could be concluded that there were correlations among the independent variables toward the dependent variable. The result from t-test could be concluded that among the independent variables to dependent variables had less significance influence. The result from F test could be concluded that service quality, promotion and product quality had significant influence to costumer loyalty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was a difference in cognitive abilities between students who received contructivistic learning with teaching aids media, with students who received expository learning models; Mathematical cognitive abilities of students who received contructivistic learning with teaching aids media were better or not than students who received expository learning in grade 5 students at Piyanggang Elementary School 02. This type of research is True Experimental Design using a randomized research design on objects. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN Piyanggang 02 Semarang Regency in the 2017/2018 school year with 28 students divided into two classes. The sample in this study was taken by cluster random sampling and selected class V B students as the experimental class and class V A students as the control class using the expository learning model. The research data was obtained by test and documentation methods. The results of data analysis with different tests of cognitive abilities between the experimental class and the control class showed that the average value in the experimental class was higher than the average value in the control class. The average value of the experimental class is 81 while the average value of the control class is 69. This shows that learning with the contructivistic model with media teaching aids proves to be better than expository learning in the control class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the effect of the level of liquidity, third party deposits and total outstanding loans on profitability of banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2011-2015. Recently, economy situation in Indonesia was not good, but if you see the report of some financial banking companies in Indonesia, as if it did not affect the company, while some phenomena showed that the increased liquidity levels was not always followed by a decrease in profitability and an increase in third party deposits and total outstanding loans were not always followed by an increase in profitability. These are the reason to motivate the researcher to conduct this research. Population of the study were all banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2011-2015 consisting of 36 companies.The samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. Analysis method is multiple linear regression. The research result on the hypothesis revealed that partially T- test showed that the level of liquidity and third party deposits had a positive effect, but only a third party deposits which had a significant effect, while the number of loans showed a negative and significant effect on profitability, and simultaneously, F test showed that the level of liquidity, third party deposits and total loans shoed a positive and significant effect on profitability.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study has three research focuses, namely (1) What is the school background in organizing a school website at Kefamenanu 1 Public Middle School and Putri St. Junior High School. Xaverius Kefamenanu, (2) How are the steps to use the School website as a Public Relations Facility at Kefamenanu 1 Public Middle School and Putri St. Middle School. Xaverius Kefamenanu and (3) How is the management of SIM management in order to support the function of Husemas activities at Kefamenanu 1 Public Middle School and Putri St. Junior High School. Xaverius Kefamenanu. The fourth finding is that of SMP 1 Kefamenanu and Putri St. Junior High School. Xaverius Kefamenanu has similarities in the form of: (a) attitude towards competition, (b) ideals of using school websites for e-learning media, (c) general content and packaging messages on school websites, (d) the information processing mechanism is not yet implemented , (e) opportunities for workers to attend training. For the differences themselves: (a) availability of human resources with relevant formal education background, (b) availability of supporting facilities and funds, (c) relationship between public relations function and website manager, (d) principal evaluation style, (e) renewal data, (f) variations in the content of information on the website, (g) availability of compensation for managers of school websites, and (h) the role of school principals in administering the website.

Abstract

The study provides an empirical analysis on the use of lexical cohesion in English-langauge newspapers in Indonesia. Data for the study were 13 articles collected from 3 leading english-langauge newspapers in Indonesia. Halliday and Hassan seminal work of “Cohesion inEnglish”provides a comprehensive taxonomy of lexical cohesive devices and Dooley and Levinsohn monograf gives the thorough examples how to analyse cohesive devices in the text. Of 424 lexical cohesive devices found in the samples, 171 (40. 3%) were repetition and 167 (39%) were collocation which are the most dominant lexical cohesive devices in the articles

Abstract

Education Quality is of special concern to all parties. The school management is always concerned about the needs of students who support the creation of success targets in print graduation with high-intellectual student results and good personality. Variables that trigger success is the basis for the researchers to measure the level of student satisfaction by testing the influence of desired expectations with the reality of students perceived. The use of these variables can solve the problems that occurred at Al Hilal Islamic Elementary School (SD Islam Al Hilal).The sample of this research is Islamic elementary student Al Hilal, a number of 61orang. The analysis technique used is hypothesis test using t-statistic to test the partial regression coefficient and f-statistic to test the significance of influence together with level of significance 5%. In addition, the classical assumption test included normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The result of analysis shows that the relation between expectation and reality perceived by student have positive and significant effect to student's satisfaction.This research is motivated by the development of Al Hilal Foundation by establishing Islamic Junior High School AL Hilal. Therefore SD Islam Al Hilal need to pay attention to factors such as hope and reality of students who have followed the learning process by measuring the level of satisfaction from the management of Al Hilal. From the calculation result, expected expectation variable and reality experienced have significant influence to student's satisfaction
