Abstract

This study aims to determine the physical condition of dug well water in Hamlet II Sei Tuan Village Labu Subdistrict Deli Serdang Regency in 2019. This type of research is a survey research with cross sectional descriptive design. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method, overall samples taken were 31 samples. Data collection is done by means of observation, interviews and measurements. Analysis of the data used is univariate analysis and then analyzed descriptively. The results of the septic tank distance that did not meet the requirements were 26 (83.9%), and the physical condition of dug wells that was not appropriate, namely the waste water drainage (SPAL) that was broken / absent with a percentage of 51.6% and the condition of the well covering the lips wells that meet the requirements of 29%, wells floors meet the requirements of 29%, wells that meet the requirements of 74.2% and non-cracked floors 45.2%. It is expected that the government will participate in carrying out monitoring and supervision efforts on dug well water which utilized by the people of Sei Tuan Village, the community that uses dug wells is expected to make improvements to the dug well facilities and pay more attention to the source of pollutants.

Abstract

The title of this research the conflict of the main character in Shakespeare novel Hamlet. It aims to identify and classify the conflict of the main character and analyze the way the main character solve the conflict in the novel Hamlet written by Shakespeare. In this research, the researcher analyze from the side of literary work and reveal the type of conflict in the novel. It is qualitative and it uses library research as the method of the research. The data are taken from the novel of Hamlet which has 477 pages from e-book and other books or another articles as supporting data. The researcher does some steps in doing this research, that is : collecting the data, read the novel and some books related to the research, identify and classify the data (conflict of the character), analyze the data and draw the conclusion. Based on the result of the research, there are 3 types of the conflict found at the main character Hamlet, there are : Men vs Self, Men vs Men and Men vs Social life out.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the effect of the service quality and price variables toward customer loyalty. Method of data collection in this research is using the survey method with questionnaires. Population in this research is the customers of Speedy in Cimanggis. Based on the results of the analysis, it indicates that the service quality significantly influences the customer loyalty, shown by the t significant value of 0.000 smaller that α 0.05 with the regression coefficient of 2.537. service quality has a significant effect on the customer loyalty indicated by the t significant value 0.000 less than α =0.05. service quality and price significantly influence the customer loyalty shown by F significant value of 0.000 smaller than α=0.05 and are able contribute to the customer loyalty variables of 0.504 or 50.4%. the remaining 49.6% is influenced by other variables that are not examined in this research.

Abstract

Public transportation (minibus) in Kendari Town often mentioned as one cause of congestion on some roads line in town because vehicle proportion of road users for public transportation routes dominated by minibus, while on other routes, the amount of minibus particularly at peak hours is too less. This study aimed to determine the performance of public transportation (minibus) in Kendari Town, by observing and analyzing some characteristics of accessibility, existing conditions, waiting time (headway) and passenger capacity (load factor) of public transportation. The research results showed that the optimal fleet size to 3 observation routes namely 818 units of vehicles, not increase continuously, so needed continuous licensing rules that are strictly enforced and established according to the needs of passengers. The government should divert the fleet operating in excess fleet route to other routes are still needed. Headway the standards required, in order to avoid accumulation of vehicles on certain roads impassable, by allocation another route or a new route for the majority of public transport in operation, to prevent or reduce the occurrence of seizure that resulted in passenger traffic and public transportation chaos.

Abstract

Disaster prevention and community preparedness have a significant and strong influence on earthquake and tsunami disaster response in East Kolono sub-District, South Konawe Regency with an R2 value of 0.888, which means prevention and public preparedness have an effect of around 88.80% on disaster response earthquake and tsunami. Partially, prevention has a significant and strong influence on earthquake and tsunami disaster response,and community preparedness also have a significant and strong influence on the earthquake and tsunami disaster response in East Kolono sub-District. In the management of earthquake and tsunami disaster response in the eastern sub-district of East Kolono, it is carried out by making routes and evacuation sites, where there are eleven 11 potential and feasible temporary evacuation locations in Ngapawali Village for 2 points; Batu Putih Village 3 points; 2 points of Rumba-Rumba Village, 2 points of Ampera Village and 2 points of Amolengu Village, and 9 main points of evacuation, namely in Ngapawali Village 1 point, Batu Putih Village 2 points, Rumba-Rumba Village 2 points, Ampera Village 2 points, and Amolengu Village 2 points.

Abstract

The results of the study show that; 1) The air quality in Kota Raha according to the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) ranges from 65.89-131.63 µg/m3, which is still below the ambient air quality standard according to the provisions of Government Regulation (PP) No.41 of 1999, which is permitted that is 30,000 µg/m3. The value of the Hydrocarbon (HC) concentration is in the range of 20.84-37.11 µg/m3, still below the ambient air quality standard according to RI PP No.41 of 1999 which is permissible at 160 µg / Nm3. Values ​​from the concentration of Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) ranged from 4.28-13.84 µg/m3, still below the ambient air quality quality standard, according to Republic of Indonesia Regulation No.41 of 1999 which is permissible at 400 µg/m3, and SOx concentrations ranged from 0.15-0.51 µg/m3, still below the air quality book according to RI Regulation No.41 of 1999 which allowed 900 µg/m3; (2) The current green road RTH in Raha City is 2.95 ha with carbon absorption capacity of 920.06 tons/year while Raha City produces emissions resulting in an emission load of 1,328,701 tons/year, meaning that there is around 408.64 tons/year remaining emissions not absorbed. Thus, green road RTH on the existing road has not been able to control or absorb gas from motor vehicle exhaust gases; and (3) The direction for controlling motor vehicle exhaust emissions based on the carrying capacity of the green lane in Kota Raha is to do extensive addition of RTH needs especially in reducing CO and HC by 28,024 m2 or 2,80 ha or about 30.75% of the total available RTH.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze distribution and extent of riparian vegetation of Wanggu DAS in Kendari City area as well as the diversity of riparian vegetation in the Wanggu District of Kendari City. This research was conducted in Wanggu Wanggu Watershed in Kendari City area. The study used qualitative descriptive analysis with ArcGis 10.1 application. The results conclude that; (1) the area of ​​riparian vegetation of Wanggu watershed in Kendari area as a whole is about 132,04 ha with a river length of about 13,722.43 m (13 Km). The area of ​​riparian vegetation is spread over the entire watershed with the widest area in the downstream area of ​​69.81 ha, upstream area 33,34 ha, and middle area 28,86 ha; and (2)riparian vegetation in the Wanggu watershed overall is 25 types consisting of 18 secondary forest species,and 7 types of mangrove forest vegetation (swamp).

Abstract

This research was conducted in Unaaha sub-district of Konawe regency. The approach used in this research was descriptive qualitative by conducting in-depth interviews and observations involved to informants as primary data collection technique. Through the technique of determining informants facilitated and obtained by 17 informants. While the secondary data obtained from the district office in the form of population data and library search. Data were analyze through qualitative descriptive.The result of this research shows that acculturation and accomodation of Tolaki language and Bugis language in Unaaha sub-district of Konawe regency occurs on the scope of the family, school(among peers), and in buying and selling activity. Acculturation actiors and language accomodation are old age (adults) as well as adolescent. While the factors that cause the acculturation and accomodation of Tolaki language with Bugis language in Unaaha district is due to open society attitude and social contact.

Abstract

Improving the standard of living of farming communities can be achieved through sustainable agricultural development. Sustainable agricultural development is marked by the existence of sustainable production that provides benefits and the freedom for farmers to determine the best choice in farming. This study aims to find out how much farm income with the application of direct seed planting systems (Tabela) and transplanting (Tapin), find out how much the comparison of farm direct income planting systems (Tabela) and transplanting systems (Tapin) and find out whether farming systems direct seed planting (Tabela) and transplanting (Tapin), feasible or not. The location of the study was determined intentionally, the determination of respondents carried out by the census method the number of respondents in this study were 30 people with the division of 15 farmers who used the table system 15 farmers who used the tapin system. The results of this study are the average / ha income of rice farming in the transplanting system (Tapin) is greater than the average income / ha of rice farming in the direct seed planting system (Tabela).
