Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of market levies and population on increasing local own-source revenue (PAD). This study uses secondary data from the regional revenue service (Dispenda) and the central statistical agency (BPS) data collected includes data on market levies, population numbers and the level of local revenue. The analytical method uses the multiple linear regression equation model. The results of this study amounted to one variable that had a positive effect on the increase in population. As for those who did not have a significant effect on the increase in local revenue, namely market fees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the gap between the expectations and challenges of tourists who come to Dago Pojok Creative Village in Bandung, so that all stakeholders involved can increase the value of tourism products in Dago Pojok Creative Village in Bandung. The research method in this study uses the Importance-Performance Analysis method. The sample in this study were tourists who visited the Dago Pojok Creative Village in Bandung as many as 100 people. From the research results obtained from the research results obtained from the expectations and assessments submitted for Dago Pojok Creative Village, with an average value of 4.64 expectations while the performance received by tourists with an average value of 3.78. Dago Pojok Bandung City still has not provided an average rating of expectations that is greater than the expectations of tourists towards the Creative Village. However, Quadrant B attributes that have been implemented well by the manager of Dago Pojok Creative Village Bandung City Item 2, namely the design of building murals, Item 3 is the design of the art performance space, Item 6 is a source of information obtained after searching the art. and Item 10, the Athmosphere in Dago Pojok Creative Village in Bandung.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of technology that has brought wide impact on teaching and learning process, especially in university level. It can be seen from the use of mobile devices as learning supporting tools for the students. Due to the development, mobile phones and their applications are considered bring good benefits on language learning. One of the forms is mobile based dictionary where there are many kinds of application that can help the students in teaching and learning process. This research aimed to know about types of mobile based dictionary used interestedly by the students at English Department. It also aimed to find out the level of students’ interest in using mobile based dictionary in English. In addition, it meant to know the dominant factors that influence student's interest in using mobile based dictionary in English learning at English Department of FKIP UMMY Solok at 2018/2019 academic year. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative research. It was conducted on the students in English department of FKIP UMMY Solok who are registered on 2018/2019 academic year. Purposive sampling was used as sampling technique, where the samples were chosen because they are registered as active students on that semester. There were 21 students got a questionnaire in order to know their interest in using mobile based dictionary. The result of this research showed that there are several types of mobile based dictionary commonly used by the students. Then, it was found that the percentage of students’ interest was 75%. It means that the students’ interest in mobile based dictionary in English Department of FKIP UMMY Solok in 2018/2019 academic year can be classified into good level. Moreover, internal factors became dominant factors that influence student's interest in using mobile based dictionary in English learning at English Department of FKIP UMMY Solok at 2018/2019 academic year

Abstract

Current technological developments especially those related to smart computer technology are growing rapidly. Until the cellphone was originally used to meet communication needs only, now mobile phones can be used to do many things, such as used to find any information that is in the world very easily, playing online games anywhere and so on. Mobile Legend game is very popular not only by teenage boys, but there are also many teenage girls who like to play online games. According to Fendy, now the "Mobile Legends application: I have downloaded 35 million times and there are 8 million daily active users in Indonesia". The Korpri complex of Kubu Raya West Kalimantan is an object chosen by the writer to be an object of research that focuses on young men and women aged 12 to 24 years. This research was conducted using simple linear regression method and the data was processed using SPSS version 24 software. The results of this study note that a significant value of 0.686 is greater than> 0.05 probability, so it can be concluded that there is no influence of playing mobile legends (X ) towards youth learning achievement (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to improve teacher discipline in school attendance and teaching in the classroom through the application of reward and punishment to SMPK Renha Rosari Kewapante teachers. The method used in this study is the School Action Research (PTS) method which consists of 2 cycles. This research was conducted in one of the target schools, namely Renha Rosari Middle School, Kewapante Sikka Regency. The subjects of this study were all 22 teachers. Data collection techniques from school action research is through qualitative data obtained from observations, observations, and interviews. Analysis of the data used in this study is the analysis of qualitative data sourced from primary and empirical data. The results of the study can be obtained, namely: 1) The delay in the indicators of teachers coming to school cycle I as many as 12 people with a percentage of 54.55% and teachers who are late entering classes in teaching, as many as 18 teachers or 81.81%. 2) The delay of teachers in the indicators coming to school cycle II as many as 4 people or 18.09% and teachers who are late entering the class in teaching as many as 6 teachers or 27.28%. So it can be concluded that the application ofardard and punishment can improve teacher discipline in attendance to school and in the classroom in the teaching-learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the process of inheriting the cultural values of lontiok houses to the younger generation of Kampar people specifically around the lontiok house environment. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The analysis is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study, namely, between traditional houses and cultural values can not be separated from the role of humans as cultural beings who inherit the culture. Inheritance of cultural values is done in two ways, namely through the tradition of hereditary from the ninik mamak to the younger generation and through tourism awareness groups (Pok derwis). education in schools is very important. This is done to preserve the culture so that it does not disappear in the midst of an increasingly developed and developing era.

Abstract

In 2018 the percentage of student registrations for State High Schools was 73.27% and for Private High Schools amounted to 26.73% to be the focus in the design of applications for admission of new students to improve the effectiveness of PPDB in HUTAMA High Schools. The method of designing a new web-based application for student acceptance uses the waterfall method by analyzing needs by conducting observations and interviews. At this stage as a resource person, the school and students who have made the process of accepting new students. The process of designing and making programs to represent the results of needs analysis by making interface designs, software architecture, and interface interactions, as well as program implementation and testing using the black box testing method. Results from this research can be obtained by the application of new web-based student admissions that aims to summarize the processes carried out with the previous system. Prospective students can register new students online that are not limited by space so that they can register anywhere and anytime in accordance with the policies of the school. And the school that carries out data management can directly receive the results of the report and can directly carry out data management without having to do typing first.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve teacher competency in preparing lesson plans through ongoing guidance at SMP Imakulata Maria Magepanda. This research is in the form of School Action Research. The method used in this research is descriptive method, using percentage techniques to see the increase that occurs from cycle to cycle. Analysis of the data used in this study is the analysis of qualitative data sourced from primary and empirical data. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase between cycles, where the percentage ratio of the components of school identity is 19%, the comparison of the percentage components of the subject's identity is 20%, the percentage of class / semester components both cycle I and cycle II is 100%, the percentage ratio of the principal material components is 2%, the comparison of the percentage of time allocation components is 2%, the comparison of the percentage of learning objectives components is 14%, the percentage ratio of basic competency components and indicators of competency achievement is 14%, the percentage ratio of learning material components is 2%, the percentage ratio of learning method components is 6%, comparison of the percentage of learning media components is 10%, comparison of the percentage of learning resource components is 6%, comparison of the percentage of components of learning activities steps is 13%, comparison of the percentage of assessment components of learning outcomes is 13%. In cycle I the average value of the RPP component was 87%, in cycle II the average value of the RPP component was 96%, an increase of 9%. This shows that the implementation of ongoing guidance can improve teacher competency in preparing lesson plans.

Abstract

Internet network users are increasing and everyone has their own busy lives. This can happen to people who usually use transportation services to travel outside the city and the internet network can be used as a liaison between the transportation and also customers. To help customers make online bookings, both door-to-door and point-to-point transportation, choosing a schedule and destination location as needed, a study is carried out, which is making a ticket reservation feature for web-based transportation agents. E-Ticketing is one of the results of the development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) features where digital areas in the business are the basis of service products. However, not all transportation service companies know the basis of CRM and how to implement the actual or minimum standards that can be applied in accordance with the business strategies used in customer service.

Abstract

New students admission (PMB) is a routine activities for education institution. Therefore, it was necessary for the institution to be aware of the mechanism of PMB to produce competent and qualified prospective students. Forecasting of PMB needed to predict the number of students and to prepare the institution infrastucture facilities to welcome the new freshmen. The research discussed the determination of forecasting number of Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika PSDKU Karawang students by using time series forecasting with three different method: moving everage, exponential smoothing and trend analysis. It also compare Mean Absolute Presentage Error (MAPE) calculated by QM for Windows. The result of the research showed that trend analysis was the most effective method which had 41.84 MAD, 2324.28 MAD, 4.99 % of MAPE and 557 students for next forecasting. The conclussion from data analysis processing showed that Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika should provide all of infrastructure facilities for the teaching and learning process with the number of 557 students in 2020.
