This unit produces a powder drink made from turmeric, ginger, and temulawak. This drink is intended to maintain immunity, considering the covid 19 pandemic. The Kunir Jalak business unit is relatively new, so it still needs assistance to develop its business. This community service activity aims to assist in determining business development strategies so that the Kunir Jalak business unit can be more developed. Contribution: The impact of community service activities is shown by increasing partners’ empowerment in identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) for the Kunir Jalak business unit and determining the alternative business development strategy, which has never been done before. Method: The method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and determine business development strategies. Furthermore, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach determines strategic priorities. Results: AHP analysis shows three business development strategies with the highest priority, namely: Weakness-Treats-1 (WT-1), Strength-Treats-1 (ST-1), and Weakness-Opportunity-2 (WO-2). Conclusion: Following the objectives of the community service program, it means that the priority of business development strategies can be determined, which can be used as guidelines for developing the business unit of Kunir Jalak.

Abstract

Background: Test equating methods are statistical tools used to produce exchangeable scores across different test forms. However, people believe that it is impossible to develop multiple forms of tests that have the same psychometric properties. Contribution: The study therefore analyzed the linear equating of senior school certificate multiple-choice examination papers in Economics. Method: A Non-equivalent Groups Anchor Test (NEAT) design was adopted for the study. The sample for the study consisted of 1,119 senior secondary three students. The 2009 WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB SSCE multiple-choice Economics papers were adapted and used for data collection with 0.67, 0.64, and 0.60 coefficients of content validity as well as 0.79, 0.76, and 0.70 reliability coefficients. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics, T-scores, and Analysis of Variance.  Results: Findings revealed that there was no difference in examinees’ ability, thus equating process could take place. The finding also revealed an F-value of 1.953, which was not significant at the 0.05 alpha level since the p-value (0.142) was greater than 0.05. It showed a score of 41 in WAEC and NECO was equivalent to 42 in NABTEB. It also showed a score of 45 in WAEC was equivalent to 46 and 50 in NECO and NABTEB respectively. Conclusion: The researchers therefore concluded that the 2009 WAEC and NECO SSCE Economics multiple-choice items tended to be equivalent while that of NABTEB was different. It was recommended among others that a regulatory body could be established to monitor and standardize these examinations conducted in Nigeria

Abstract

Background: In the information age and today's digital age, educators play an important role in shaping good character. Educators have excellent opportunities to develop professional competencies that can be enhanced, one of which is the ability to technically and creatively create innovative learning designs that facilitate educators' ability to optimize students' abilities. Contribution: The contribution of this research is to raise awareness among educators in the digital arena of what is required to develop innovative and creative History learning media. Other matters related to educators' confidence in leveraging technology in History learning also need to be optimized. Method:  Synthesis method. Researcher synthesized information naturally to help others see connections between things. Results:  The t-test result indicated that the post-test scores were significantly higher for the experimental group (M = 41.71, SD = 2.14) than for the control group (M = 20.41, SD = 4.3), t = 4.130, p < .001. In other words, there was a significant difference in the mean post-test results between the experimental and control groups. As such, Edmodo can positively impact the academic performance of higher education students. When being applied to the experimental and control methods, the ratio was 2.62, which was greater than the reference value (1.2). This showed that Edmodo effectively improved students' study skills and knowledge. Conclusion:   The impact of this result can be explained by the fact that Edmodo increased the use of collaborative e-learning in the experimental group to keep students informed. A good website provides students with high-quality information, creativity, participatory activities and collaboration in a category called Social Networking and Communication. The application of digital literacy by utilizing media in History learning can be done by utilizing the existing facilities at Edmodo

Abstract

Background: Library is one of the supporting elements in the learning process in the institutions. The circulation of borrowing and returning books is an activity that runs in the library. The process of improving library services can be carried out by officers through various aspects started from the development of collection materials to the dissemination of information. However, in current conditions, there are still many circulation service processes carried out by libraries using conventional media by recording in the library ledger for every user who borrows books. Contribution: The purpose of the activity is to provide knowledge to library managers to be able to take advantage of the Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) in improving library services. Method: The methodology used is through training and counseling to a librarian. Results: The results of community service activities that have been carried out are the transformation of library processing using digital media in the form of the SLiMS application. Improved services to library users are becoming more optimal. This can be seen in the list of visits increasing to 30% every month and regulations on borrowing books reaching 25%, while delays in returning books have decreased to 2%. This has an impact because the process of tracking book collections is very easy so that the identities of the users are stored and can be monitored by librarian. Conclusion: Services to library members are getting better and the knowledge of library managers is getting optimal in carrying out library processing with the help of SLiMS

Abstract

Background: Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a technology in the field of Architecture, Engineering and Construction that is capable of simulating all information in a development project into a three-dimensional (3D) model. One of the government's efforts in dealing with the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is implementing the use of BIM, and construction technology innovations in each project cycle. By applying the BIM method, both managers, consultants and contractors are able to save processing time, costs incurred and the required workforce. The application of BIM technology can minimize the impact of work delays, increased costs, and construction failures. Contribution: The results of the analysis of the needs of partners show that not all construction service businesses, especially in Banyumas, know and implement BIM. This community service activity is intended to provide basic training to construction service businesses regarding the operation of BIM using Tekla Structures. Method: The method used is a partner needs analysis survey, lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and mentoring. Results: The results of this dedication show that as many as 81% of participants understand the BIM concept after participating in this activity. Conclusion: The holding of this training will provide an overview, improve skills for construction services in Banyumas. Furthermore, it can be applied to the construction process (planning, implementation and maintenance), so that it will produce competitive construction service design products
