SPEKTA (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat: Teknologi dan Aplikasi) dengan nomor registrasi ISSN 2723-8008 (cetak) dan ISSN 2723-8016 (online) adalah jurnal multidisiplin ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Jurnal Ini merupakan jurnal yang mencakup masalah mengenai penerpan aplikasi teknologi kepdalam masyarakat. Tujuan publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau gagasan dan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai di bidang pelayanan kepada masyarakat. SPEKTA (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat: Teknologi dan Aplikasi) terbit sejak bulan Juni 2020 tepatnya sejak perilisan Volume 1, Nomor 1, Tahun 2020. SPEKTA (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat: Teknologi dan Aplikasi) memiliki fokus utama pada pengembangan ilmu-ilmu di ranah pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Lingkup ranah pengabdian kepada masyarakat antara lain meliputi Teknologi Tepat Guna, Perancangan dan Pengembangan Produk, Technopreneur, Aplikasi Teknologi, dan Teknologi Informasi dan System Informasi. Setiap naskah yang masuk akan dibaca oleh tim editorial. Naskah-naskah yang dievaluasi oleh editor dan dianggap tidak sesuai dengan kriteria jurnal akan ditolak tanpa tinjauan eksternal. Naskah yang kami nilai berpotensi menarik bagi pembaca dikirim ke peer reviewer. Setelah dilakukan review naskah oleh reviewer, naskah akan dikembalikan kepada penulis untuk direvisi. Tim editor membuat keputusan berdasarkan rekomendasi reviewer. SPEKTA (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat: Teknologi dan Aplikasi) terbit 2 kali dalam 1 Tahun yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember.

Abstract

Background: To be financially independent village seems to be a must to support the local economic freedom. Tourism becomes one among some promising sectors. However, the low level of local understanding towards the concept of agro-tourism is much needed to support the local government development, especially in Tebing Village, West Bangka. Contribution: The purpose of this program is to support the actualization of an agro-tourism village based on green rice fields through the formation of a tourism awareness group and counseling on the concept, role and function of it in Tebing village, Sub-district of Kelapa, West Bangka Regency. Method: The method employed is by assisting, mapping and giving a lecture on the concept of tourism awareness groups to actualize the agro-tourism village in Tebing Village, West Bangka. Results: The result is proved by the formation of a tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) in Tebing village. Besides, the growth of awareness and understanding related to the Sapta Pesona was well comprehend as qualitatively evaluated by interviewing the community. Finally, the mapping process of the location of agro-tourism was done using DJI Phantom 4 Pro. Conclusion: Existing natural resources can be utilized to increase income financially through agro-tourism villages. In addition, the happiness index can also be increased by the presence of green open space or agro-tourism nearby as a rest area from Pangkalpinang to Muntok or vice versa, as the village is located in the main route of it. Finally, this service still requires further assistance until the agro-tourism village can be established and support the village's independent income and the welfare of the local community

Abstract

Background: It will be interesting to say that the rise in e-sports participation and online training is more prevalence than before due to COVID-19 pandemic. It is in view of this that the study investigated social media efficacy on athletes training and workout during COVID-19 pandemic in Kwara State, Nigeria. The objectives of this study were to assess. influence of use of YouTube on athlete training and workout, ii. influence of facebook and twitter on athlete training and workout during COVID-19 pandemic. Contribution: Coaches and athletes are encouraged to embraced digitilization of sports as a mean of effective communication. Method: Descriptive research design of the survey type was used. The population of the study comprises all coaches and athletes in the study area. The Multistage sampling procedures of stratified, purposive and random sampling techniques were used to select 85 respondents. A researcher-structured questionnaire was used for the study. The instrument was validated and tested for reliability using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC). A correlation co-efficient of 0.65r was obtained. The data collected were analysed using inferential statistics of chi-square (x2) to test the formulated hypotheses set for the study at 0.05 alpha level. Results: The Results revealed that the use of YouTube, facebook, twitter and use of video calls through Skype had significant influences on athletes training and workout during COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion: The study concluded that use of YouTube, facebook, twitter and virtual platform were fundamental and significant to athletes training and workout during Covid-19 pandemic lockdown

Abstract

Background:  Marketplace make it very easy for customers to meet their needs besides that, it is also a means for SMEs to be able to survive facing competition and the Covid 19 pandemic crisis, so this is one of the challenges for sellers who sell offline. An example of offline sales is traditional market traders. This community service (public servant) was carried out at one of the basic food shops located in traditional markets, namely Apen Groceries. Apen Groceries Storeis a shop that provides staple goods located in Pasar Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. Apen Groceries Storeis a shop that is in a traditional market, so Apen Groceries Storehas challenges that must be faced, including competitors in modern markets (supermarkets) and online sales, as well as the Covid 19 pandemic situation which is still ongoing today where these conditions are very limiting space for the conventional Apen Shop business.  Contribution: This public servant activity contributes to small and medium businesses, in this case the Apen Grocery Store. Method: Implementing online marketing strategies using social media applications and e-marketplaces (such as whatsapp, Instagram and the Shopee application).  Results: The results obtained include sales forecasting, namely being able to estimate whether the number of customers will be sufficient with the existing stock or even less, so that they can monitor the product.  Conclusion: Grocery stores can already sell their products with offline and online access, namely with the help of social media and e-marketplaces

Abstract

Background: The conversion of livestock manure into organic fertilizer is quite safe and not difficult to do. Compost is believed to improve soil texture by making the soil more friable. In order to increase food security and raise awareness of the value of health and the beauty of the environment for farmer groups that raise pigs, this activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of farmers in Husoak Village. Contribution: Provide knowledge and enhance abilities for turning pig manure into compost that is good for cultivated plants, in increasing food security and farmers' knowledge about the importance of health and sustainability. Method: Conversation, Observation, and Socialization, providing assistance, engaging in manufacturing, and documenting Results: As evidenced by the number of farmers applying it—5 in total with 1 farmer serving as a pioneer in adopting the use of pig waste compost, which reduces odor pollution—the use of pig manure as compost is succeeding. Conclusion: that the compost processing training was completed within a month as planned, with the use of pig waste compost being observed in 5 farmers who had implemented the processing of pig manure into compost and had consumed the harvested products themselves. The next suggestion is to expand the use of composted pig manure as an agricultural input to ensure the sustainability of community agriculture

Abstract

Background: Insight and activeness to carry out research are things that must be owned by many people, organizations, as well as agencies and institutions, if they want conditions changes to occur in the environment that they want. Research helps to produce better changes with various methods or approaches. The college as the birthplace of reliable researches must be able the entire academic community in it to have insight into research methodology in order to increase community service. Contribution: This research was conducted to explain the implementation of webinar in order to increase the understanding and mastery of the academic community from lectures, students, and the public in general regarding research methodology. Method: The methodology used is qualitative descriptive. Results: The results showed that the holding of the webinar activity "Research Methodology and Scientific Writing" by the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Esa Unggul University, Jakarta had an impact on increasing the participants' insight and understanding regarding research methodology for students and other general participants. In addition, this activity also helps to encourage an increase in the interest of the academic community both from the Faculty of Communication Sciences and not to do community service with a variety of research method approaches needed by field conditions and integration in accordance with communication science. Abstract

Background: This research focuses on the evaluation of the independent influence and the bidirectional interaction of some welding parameters in butt welding for the SUS 304 stainless steel thin plates using the automatic plasma welding system (450 +/- Plasma, SP7Turmatic from Lincoln). Contribution: The findings will serve as a reliable background to design the mathematical model for the prediction of the tensile strength for the plasma welding of   steel SUS 304 thin plates in terms of the nomination of the optimal process for adopting the requirement in industry. Method: The welding setting is nominated for 04 main changing parameters, such as the peak current of welding (Ih, A); the background current of welding (Ib, A); the welding speed (vh, cm/min); the feeding rate of the welding wire (vc.d, cm/min); the diameter of the wire (d = 1.0 mm); and the flow rate of the shielding gas (Gk.p, 2.0 l/min). Mathematical statistics software ANOVA using to analyze the influence of the parameters on the tensile strength of the weld as the target function. Results:  The tensile strength of the plasma welding samples is about 650 MPa at the equivalent level of the other publications. This proved the reasonable welding setting for the preliminary investigation. Conclusion: Authors proved the nomination of the main plasma welding technological parameters, such as the peak current, the background current, the welding speed, and the feeding rate of the wire, is reasonable towards the maximum tensile strength, one of the important criteria in the weld performance

Abstract

Background: During this Covid-19 pandemic, the use of hand sanitizer needs to be encouraged to maintain hand hygiene. During endemic and new normal times, the use of hand sanitizer is highly recommended. The hand sanitizers circulating in the market are still predominantly made from alcohol. Hand sanitizer in liquid or spray form is more effective than gel hand sanitizer. Contribution: The purpose of this community service is to improve knowledge in making liquid hand sanitizers for the people of Tegalsari Hamlet. With this training, the community can provide hand sanitizer independently. Method: The steps of training were to share videos of making hand sanitizers, organize discussion sessions via Google Meeting, send materials for making hand sanitizers to participants, and did training. The method of making hand sanitizer follows WHO standards. The training participants were 28 teenagers from Tegalsari. Results: From the evaluation, it is known that there is an increase in the ability to make hand sanitizer by 50.74% and an increase in community skills. Conclusion: The training participants succeeded in making hand sanitizer.  This activity got a very good response from training participants. Participants are very enthusiastic and stated that this activity is very useful for them. It was proven that the participants were capable to produce hand sanitizers independently

Abstract

Background: Having a consistent and unified view of heterogeneous distributed medical information sources is an inevitable need of health informatics. Integrating medical information of patients or about a disease, a treatment or side effects of a drug, etc, is very useful to help medical education, to achieve medical research goals and to provide the computer- based decision support systems. Contribution: This article proposes a flexible incremental update method for the materialized part of the integration system. It permits us to manage the integration system according to the characteristics of the data sources which can change. Method: This paper presents a hybrid data integration approach in which the materialized part of the system in mediator is the object indexation structure based on an instance classification of the sources objects which correspond to the global schema. The object identifier of each object in the indexation structure is materialized together with the attributes which are needed for the incremental updating of this indexation (classifying attributes). Results: The main idea of this paper is to develop a hybrid data integration framework, which represents a new aspect of a hybrid method focusing on flexible data refreshing. Conclusion: This hybrid approach implements a vertical hybrid approach. It means that at the mediator level, some data of each object are materialized and others are virtual.

Abstract

Background: Community-based tourism is increasingly being considered a more sustainable alternative. Tourism Villages can be a step towards realizing sustainable tourism. This is because the tourism village has the opportunity to open up as much participation as possible for the local community. However, this does not mean anything if managers, including accommodation providers, need qualified organizational and financial management skills. Contribution: This activity aims to provide knowledge to homestay managers in Candirejo Village to properly manage business finances based on SAK EMKM (Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Entitas Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah) Method: The method used by researchers is through training and empowerment of homestay managers Results: The result of this activity is an increased understanding of SAK EMKM in Candirejo Village. After the training, homestay managers have also started implementing SAK EMKM in their financial reports. As a result, the financial position can be monitored, financial leaks can be minimized, and homestay business management can be carried out more effectively and efficiently. Conclusion: The activities that were held went well. This is known from the excellent understanding of SAK EMKM after the training was given

Abstract

Background:  Cold chain prepared dishes, as a new type of food with low temperature and dual attributes, have attracted more and more attention from consumers. From the perspective of consumers' brand positioning mentality, this study integrated the brand, quality and other attributes of cold chain prepared vegetables, and studied the positioning mentality and adoption behavior of Chinese consumers   In this study, three cold-chain prefabricated dishes, "pickled cabbage fish", "tomato Braised beef brisket" and "Huangpi fishball", were selected as investigation objects. Contribution:  The contribution of this study is that different food value attributes explain the law of consumers' willingness to adopt cold chain prepared dishes through brand positioning mentality, and find out how different degrees of vulnerability and quality warranty Method:  Based on ZMET survey method, product effect data were used to analyze and verify structural equation model. Results:  Different value evaluation directly affects consumers' brand positioning mentality, brand positioning mind as an intermediate variable has a significant correlation with adoption intention. The degree of vulnerability moderates the relationship between value evaluation and brand positioning mentality, and the degree of warranty period regulates the relationship between quality value, brand positioning mentality and adoption intention respectively. Conclusion:  It also provides new marketing tools and theories for entrepreneurs and marketers in the cold chain food industry, which contributes to the promotion and diffusion of cold chain prepared food for consumers
