Abstract

The features of a chatbot can lead to behavioral intention among its users. This study examines how the features found in TANYA can generate behavioral intention to its consumers. This study uses several different research variables which are then made into a model with a simple regression design. These variables are convenience, authenticity of conversation, enjoyment, pass time, social influence, anthropomorphism, privacy concern, and immature technology. The study was conducted quantitatively through Google Form and successfully gathered 214 respondents from Generation Z and millennials who had used TANYA previously. Using linear regression analysis through SPSS, the study concludes that convenience, enjoyment, social influence, anthropomorphism, and immature technology influence the behavioral intention experienced by consumers, while authenticity of conversation, pass time, and privacy concern have no influence on behavioral intentions of TANYA consumers.

Abstract

Electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) plays a crucial role in digital marketing by shaping consumer judgments and purchase decisions. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of research on e-WOM and purchase intention published between 2015 and 2024. A total of 200 Scopus-indexed journal articles were analyzed using performance indicators, citation analysis, keyword co-occurrence, thematic clustering, and network visualization with VOSviewer. The findings reveal three development phases: emergence (2015–2017), rapid growth (2018–2020), and consolidation with a sharp increase in publications in 2023–2024. Influential journals and highly cited studies emphasize information helpfulness, review quality, and credibility as key predictors of purchase intention. Five thematic clusters were identified, covering consumer behavior, trust, social commerce, brand constructs, and information quality. The study confirms that e-WOM and purchase intention remain evolving research areas, highlights cross-cultural and longitudinal gaps, and provides structured directions for future theoretical and managerial development.

Abstract

Curly red chili is a strategic horticultural commodity that plays an important role in household consumption and regional economic stability. In Tangerang City, its demand fluctuates due to changes in prices, income levels, and population growth. As an urban area with a steadily increasing population and rapid development of the culinary sector, Tangerang City has a high dependence on supplies from other regions, making chili demand and prices relatively sensitive to economic factors. This study aims to analyze the response and elasticity of curly red chili demand in Tangerang City. The research uses secondary data with a quantitative approach through the Cobb–Douglas function model to estimate the effects of price, income, population, and consumption on the quantity demanded. The Cobb Douglas model was selected because it allows direct measurement of elasticity and demonstrates the sensitivity of demand to changes in each variable. The results show that all variables simultaneously affect the demand for curly red chili. The elasticity values obtained indicate whether demand is elastic or inelastic, providing useful insights for maintaining price stability and ensuring adequate supply availability.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of compensation and the non-physical work environment on employee performance with work motivation as a mediating variable at PT. Muawanah Al-Ma’soem. This research addresses the need to understand how financial and non-financial factors simultaneously influence employee performance through psychological mechanisms. A quantitive method was employed using survey data collected from 98 employees. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that compensation and the non-physical work environment have positive and significant effects on employee performance. Work motivation also has a significant positive effect on employee performance and acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between compensation, the non-physical work environment, and employee performance. The theoretical contribution of this study lies in strengthening and extending motivational theory by empirically validating the mediating role of work motivation in linking compensation and non-physical work environment factors to employee performance. Practically, the result suggest that organizations should integrate fair compensation policies and supportive workplace relationships to improve employee performance sustainably.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of community participation, financial transparency, and information technology utilization on Village Fund financial management, with village government commitment as a moderating variable in Dresi Kulon Village, Rembang. The methodology used was a quantitative approach, analyzing questionnaire data collected from 146 participants and then processing it using SEM–SmartPLS. The results show that community participation, financial transparency, and information technology utilization have a positive impact on Village Fund financial governance, with financial transparency having the strongest impact, while village government dedication was shown to mediate the relationship between financial transparency and IT utilization. This framework was able to explain 47.0% of the change in Village Fund financial management (R² = 0.470). Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen financial reporting transparency, village government commitment, and technology utilization.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how auditor competence, supervisory independence, and internal control systems influence internal audit quality and fraud prevention in Indonesia's public sector, with particular focus on the moderating role of auditor integrity in shaping the effectiveness of these oversight mechanisms. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), this study analyzes data from 53 auditors at the Buleleng Regency Inspectorate to test six direct relationships and six moderating effects of auditor integrity on internal audit quality and fraud prevention. The study reveals three key findings. First, all direct effects prove significant: internal control systems emerge as the strongest predictor of internal audit quality (β=0.431, p<0.001), while auditor competence most powerfully influences fraud prevention (β=0.408, p=0.001). Second, auditor integrity exhibits complex and counterintuitive moderation patterns: it negatively moderates the competence-audit quality relationship (β=-0.264, p=0.034) and independence-audit quality relationship (β=-0.095, p=0.029), indicating compensatory mechanisms or contextual pressures in corrupt environments. Third, integrity does not moderate any relationships with fraud prevention nor internal control system relationships with either outcome, revealing that fraud prevention is more heavily determined by structural factors than individual ethical characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to examine fraud prevention in Indonesian government institutions by analyzing the influence of internal control systems and integrity zones, as well as the moderating role of transformational leadership. The population consists of civil servants working in a central government ministry that has implemented integrity zone initiatives. Using purposive sampling, 375 valid responses were obtained from employees involved in financial management, supervision, and administrative functions. A quantitative approach was applied through structured questionnaires, and data were analyzed using variance-based structural equation modeling. The results indicate that internal control systems have a positive and significant effect on fraud prevention by enhancing transparency and accountability. Integrity zones also demonstrate a significant positive influence by strengthening governance and promoting anti-corruption values. Transformational leadership does not significantly moderate the relationships between internal control systems, integrity zones, and fraud prevention. These findings suggest that fraud prevention in government institutions is more strongly associated with formal governance mechanisms, highlighting the importance of strengthening internal controls and integrity-based reforms to enhance anti-fraud effectiveness.

Abstract

The increasing use of social media along with the development of the concept  of the experience economy has encouraged changes in the consumption patterns of the younger generation, especially for hedonic products that emphasize elements of experience, such as blind boxes. Pop Mart as a global blind box brand shows rapid growth in Indonesia, which is triggered by the rise of unboxing content, the role of influencers, and the implementation of viral marketing strategies  that have given rise to the FoMO phenomenon. This study is aimed at examining the influence of FoMO, Influencer Marketing, and Viral Marketing on Pop Mart blind box product Purchase Intention. This study was carried out through a quantitative approach using the PLS-SEM method to 200 respondents in Cirebon City who actively use social media and have seen blind box content. The results show that FoMO, Influencer Marketing, and Viral Marketing produce a positive and significant influence on Purchase Intent, either separately or simultaneously. Among the three variables, FoMO had the most dominant influence, and the research model was able to explain 63.8% of the variation  in Purchase Intention. These findings confirm the important role of consumer psychological factors and digital marketing strategies in shaping the purchase intention of blind box products.

Abstract

The decline in sales performance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bengkulu Province poses a significant challenge, particularly in light of the national trend toward digital economic expansion. The objective of this research is to consolidate empirical evidence concerning the correlation between digital marketing literacy and the sales performance of MSMEs through a systematic literature review (SLR) of publications from 2020 to 2025. In accordance with the PRISMA protocol, 20 articles from the Scopus, Web of Science, and SINTA databases were subjected to thematic analysis. The results indicate that proficiency in digital marketing has a significant positive impact on MSME sales (β = 0.35–0.50), although this effect is mitigated by access to digital infrastructure, the age of the business owner, and the type of business. MSME proprietors aged over 45 and those located in rural areas exhibit heightened resistance to technology adoption, despite training initiatives. Significant deficiencies encompass a scarcity of regional studies in Sumatra, the absence of integrated models analysing infrastructure moderation, and the prevalence of quantitative designs lacking comprehensive investigation. This study makes a theoretical contribution by developing the Digital Literacy-Performance Nexus framework and has real-world implications for community-based digital training policy. Future research will encompass longitudinal studies and mixed-method approaches within regional contexts.

Abstract

In the digital economy, innovation is a strategic imperative for sustaining organizational competitiveness, with employees’ innovative work behavior serving as a crucial micro-level foundation. Accelerated technological change and skill disruption have intensified the need for systematic digital talent development. Despite increasing scholarly attention to digital talent management, empirical research remains limited in explaining how digital talent development interacts with digital leadership, digital competence, and digital culture to shape innovative work behavior. This study addresses this gap by examining the structural relationships among these digital enablers within the context of digital transformation in the telecommunications industry. This study adopts a quantitative approach using survey data collected from 189 certified digital talents across PT Telkom Indonesia. Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares was employed to test the hypothesized relationships and mediating mechanisms. The results demonstrate that digital talent development influences innovative work behavior through an integrated mediating mechanism involving digital leadership, digital competence, and digital culture. This study advances the digital transformation literature by clarifying the systemic role of organizational enablers in translating digital talent investments into employee-level innovation. It emphasizes the necessity of aligning talent development with leadership capability, competency, and cultural reinforcement to support sustainable innovation in digitally transforming organizations.
