Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green marketing and sustainability practices on brand equity in the Indonesian e-commerce sector. A quantitative approach with an explanatory research design was used to test the relationship between variables. Data were collected through an online survey using a structured questionnaire from 200 respondents who are e-commerce consumers in Indonesia. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the direct and indirect effects. The results showed that green marketing has a significant positive effect on brand equity (? = 0.42, p < 0.001). Sustainability practices also have a positive effect on brand equity (? = 0.38, p < 0.004). In addition, sustainability practices are proven to mediate the relationship between green marketing and brand equity with an indirect effect of 0.15 (p = 0.032). These findings indicate that green marketing strategies integrated with sustainability practices can increase consumer loyalty and trust, which ultimately strengthen brand equity. This study provides theoretical contributions to the green marketing and sustainability literature, and offers practical guidance for e-commerce companies to adopt environmentally friendly strategies effectively. Managerial implications include the importance of transparent communication and consistent adoption of sustainability practices to create competitive advantage. This study also opens up opportunities for further exploration in other sectors or with different methods.

Abstract

Bureaucratic reform has become the Indonesian government's strategic agenda to create better, more adaptive and responsive governance. In the context of bureaucratic modernization, the Weberian bureaucratic model which emphasizes hierarchy, professionalism and standard rules is seen as less effective in dealing with global dynamics and local complexity. Therefore, thematic bureaucratic reforms have emerged that focus on improving the quality of public services, infrastructure development, and accelerating community welfare. This research examines the impact of implementing thematic bureaucratic reform on accelerating development at the local level, especially in three main aspects: public services, infrastructure development, and improving the quality of life of the community. It is hoped that thematic bureaucratic reform can build a bureaucracy that is responsive, fast and adaptive, in accordance with the directions of the President of Indonesia. Although the concept of thematic bureaucratic reform is promising, its implementation still faces challenges at the regional level. Many local governments view these reforms as an additional burden, with little understanding of their implementation. Therefore, further efforts are needed in the form of outreach, assistance and technical training for local governments, so that the Thematic RB can be implemented more effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

The ship crew's safety citizenship behavior (SCB) is essential for protecting shipping. Based on the perspectives of safety awareness and motivation, this research aims to examine the SCB issue that mariners encounter while working on passenger ships. This investigation endeavors to assess the impact of safety awareness and motivation on the SCB of ship crews using the mediation mechanism of safety motivation. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method and a causal design. A total of 120 crew members from passenger ships that were operating at Tanjung Priok Port in Jakarta were in the sample. The research instrument employed was a Likert scale-based questionnaire. In the Google Forms format, questionnaires were distributed via WhatsApp and email. Structured equation modeling analysis based on partial least squares (SEM-PLS) was employed to analyze the Data. The research findings show a significant correlation between safety motivation and safety awareness in ship crew SCB. Furthermore, safety awareness substantially impacts the safety motivation of the crew, and safety motivation mediates the effect of safety awareness on SCB. This evidence demonstrates the originality of the mediation concept, which posits that safety awareness impacts the SCB of passenger ship crew members through safety motivation.

Abstract

This research investigates the empirical relationship between liquidity, solvency, and profitability and stock prices of infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020-2023 period. Employing a sample of 22 infrastructure companies selected through purposive sampling, the study utilizes multiple linear regression analysis with current ratio, debt-to-equity ratio, and return on assets as independent variables. The findings indicate that liquidity exerts a negative influence on stock prices, while profitability demonstrates a positive correlation. Notably, solvency does not exhibit a significant impact on stock prices. These results suggest that investors in infrastructure companies may prioritize high profitability over high liquidity when making investment decisions. The study contributes to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on the financial determinants of stock prices in the infrastructure sector and offers insights for future research.
