JURNAL BADATI diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Universitas Kristen Indonesia Maluku. KATA BADATI adalah sebuah nama yang berasal dari kosa-kata bahasa daerah Maluku Tengah, tepatnya masyarakat Ambon dan Lease. Badati, secara singkat, adalah suatu suasana yang tumbuh dan terpelihara bergenerasi dalam keseharian aktivitas bersama secara kekeluargaan di mana setiap orang atau keluarga, baik dalam pendekatan orang per orang, keluarga (baik dalam garis lurus atau menyimpang), atau anak negeri/masyarakat dalam satu negeri/desa, menunjukkan kepeduliannya untuk turut menanggung suatu beban (biasanya secara material) bersama yang sebelumnya tidak bisa ditanggung oleh seseorang atau suatu keluarga. Pilihan nama BADATI mengandung makna filosofi, yakni menunjuk pada upaya untuk mencerdaskan dan memberdayakan orang demi kesejahteraannya (individu, kelompok dan masyarakat) melalui pikiran-pikiran dari hasil penelitian kajian teoritik tidak dapat dilakukan secara sendiri-sendiri tanpa bekerja bersama dengan melibatkan pihak lain sebagai sistem sumber (Jejaring). Di dalam prinsip bekerja bersama itu, secara esensial, bertujuan untuk memandirikan orang (individu, kelompok dan masyarakat) sebagai subyek dengan menggali dan memaksimalkan potensi yang dimilikinya secara bermartabat. BADATI memiliki nomor ISSN 1907-5340 (cetak) diterbitkan secara cetak sejak tahun 2007 dan pada tahun 2019 Jurnal Badati diterbitkan secara online sejak Volume 1 no 1 tahun 2019 dengan no ISSN 2722-3248 (online) oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial & Ilmu Politik sampai sekarang. Dengan tujuan untuk mempublikasikan hasil kajian ilmiah dan penelitian dalam bidang ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora. BADATI menerima tulisan berbentuk riset kuantitatif maupun kualitatif dari akademisi, praktisi, peneliti yang relevan dengan topik ilmu sosial dan humaniora. Artikel yang dikirimkan haruslah belum pernah atau tidak sedang dalam proses dimuat pada jurnal lainnya. Artikel yang masuk harus sesuai dengan petunjuk penulisan atau format yang telah ditetapkan. Editor akan menolak artikel yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan tanpa proses lebih lanjut. Artikel yang telah memenuhi persyaratan akan dinilai kelayakannya oleh reviewer melalui proses blind-review. BADATI terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun, April dan November.

Abstract

The development of communication and information technology is progressing rapidly. Along with this, communication devices (mobile phones) are no longer a secondary need but have become a primary need. Mobile is not only used to communicate via telephone or SMS, but consumers want more so that the features of the handphone are increasingly diverse. Since the internet began to boom in Indonesia, the internet has become a mandatory feature and has changed its function, so it's no wonder that the cheapest mobile phones can be used for calls, SMS, and the internet. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the psychological influence of consumers on the decision to purchase Vivo brand mobile phones on students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Victory University, Sorong.From the results of hypothesis testing that has been done the hypothesis is accepted. The contribution of consumer psychological influence on purchasing decisions for students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Victory University, Sorong, is 17.3%. In other words, purchasing decisions can be explained or influenced by consumer psychological variables of 17.3% while the remaining 82.7% are explained or influenced by other variables not examined.The results of the t-count value of the education and training variables can be seen that the t-count value of 3.304 is smaller than the t-table value of 1.697. Thus the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that consumer psychological variables have a significant influence on students' purchasing decisions for Vivo brand mobile phones.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the roles of social workers in increasing the independence of life for people with visual disabilities. Persons with disabilities are a group of people who have limitations that can hinder their participation and participation in social life. Disability is a limitation experienced by a person with their environment, not just physically or mentally, but is a multi-dimensional phenomenon consisting of bodily functions, activity limitations, barriers to participation and environmental factors. Social workers as a humanitarian aid profession have access to and a role in providing social services to persons with disabilities. There are problems with persons with disabilities, social workers have a professional responsibility in providing services and interventions for persons with disabilities. The social work intervention in this case aims to achieve social functioning with disabilities.

Abstract

Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan  Kota Ambon merupakan salah satu Dinas diantara beberapa Dinas yang ada di bawah Pemerintahan Kota Ambon, dalam keberadaannya bertujuan untuk memberikan keindahan dan kebersihan Kota Ambon disamping sejumlah tujuan lainnya. Terhadap hal tersebut maka oleh Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan  membuka lapangan pekerjaan yang dalam hal ini sebagai tukang penyapu jalan kepada masyarakat kota Ambon. Terhadap hal tersebut maka oleh peneliti ingin melakukan kajian dengan judul: Tukang Penyapu Jalan Dan Kondisi Kesejahteraan Rumah Tangga. Permasalahan yaitu: bagaimana tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga para tukang sapu jalan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana kondisi kesejahteraan rumah tangga tukang sapu jalan. Secara metodologis, tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengambil lokasi penelitian di, Jl. A. Y. Patty Ambon. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah pengamatan langsung dan wawancara. Teknik analisa data adalah deskriptif kualitatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan strategi branding telkomsel dalam mempertahankan kepercayaan masyarakat Kota Ambon sebagai awal dalam penelitian ini bahwa branding tidak berjalan dalam hal kekeuatan signal internet telkomsel. Sebuah brand untuk dikenal apabila dalam benak masyarakat adanya brand-brand competitor lainnya memang bukan hal yang mudah tetapi bisa dilakukan dengan sebuah strategi yang tepat. Untuk itu peran dari pihak telkomsel untuk mempertahankan citra positif dimata masyarakat sehingga, masyarakat tetap menggunakan layanan telkomsel dan tidak pindah ke layanan jaringan lainnya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana Branding Telkomsel dalam mempertahankan Kepercayaan masyarakat Kota Ambon.

Abstract

This study discusses Kei Language in Youth Interpersonal Communication in Ohoi Ohoijang, Kei Kecil District,Southeast Maluku Regency. Language is a cultural tool used by humans to communicate or relate to each other, eitherthrough written, oral, or movement. Kei language is the regional language used by the Kei tribe. Along with thedevelopment of the increasingly advanced globalization era, the importance of preserving the Kei language. In fact,currently Kei youth, can no longer communicate using the natural Kei language to do interpersonal communication.This phenomenon raises concerns that when Kei youths cannot understand or communicate in Kei language, thecustoms and traditions of the Kei Islands will disappear. For example, during customary meetings, and traditionalrituals that require a person to communicate intrapersonal using Kei language. It is feared that in the future the Keilanguage will become extinct by itself. Thus, it is necessary to know how the interpersonal communication of Keilanguage itself and the factors that cause Kei language to no longer be used by youth in everyday life. This type ofresearch is qualitative by using primary data sourced from field research data, and secondary data throughinformants. The results showed that Ohoi Ohoijang youth did not use Kei in their daily interactions, youth were morelikely to use Indonesian or slang to interact. Lack of recognition of the Kei language by parents.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the impact of the Ketel Parigi eucalyptus oil industry on improving the welfare of the people in Buru Regency. This research is a survey research, where data collection is done by using a questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that the impact of the Parigi Ketel Ketel eucalyptus oil industry has an effect on improving the welfare of the people in Buru Regency. However, this increase in welfare can only be seen clearly in the increase in income, while the improvement and improvement of health and educational facilities, as well as transportation facilities have received less serious attention. In addition, the impact of the existence of the Parigi Ketel eucalyptus oil industry has an effect on improving people's welfare, namely the expansion of job opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the JAKI application is used as a media for complaints about public facilities in Jatinegara Village, as well as obstacles in using the JAKI application in submitting complaints about public facilities in Jatinegara Village. The method used in this research uses qualitative methods. In writing this scientific research using the theory of diffusion of innovation and the theory of new media. Based on the results of research on government electronic applications, namely the JAKI application at the Jatinegara Sub-District level, it is a program from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to deal with any problems that exist in the area so that they are quickly handled, and residents stated that the use of the JAKI application was very efficient in Jatinegara Kelurahan in handling public facilities, and also responsive to every complaint reported by residents around the Jatinegara Village. The JAKI application has a variety of features, and obstacles were found such as lack of understanding of technology and the internet.

Abstract

The development of communication and information technology which gave birth to the internet as an electronic communication network, digital technology developments and technology, mobile. In addition to democratic social order becoming a world ideology, it has encouraged various countries to eliminate barriers in the production and distribution of information. Like media consumption, this news consumption pattern can be operationalized into the amount of time spent on various types of media, the media content consumed, and the various relationships between individual consumers. media with the content of the media consumed or the media as a whole (Rosengren in Rakhmat, 2001, p. 66). Understanding an audience's media consumption patterns also indirectly provides input on the use of the types of mass media that are most trusted and considered credible by the audience. Results of hypothesis testing of social media content on news consumption patterns. From the results of the t test, it can be seen that tcount is 3.441 with a significance level (?) = 0.05, namely 1.701 because tcount is 3.441 ttable 1.701, meaning that social media content has a positive influence on news consumption patterns. Based on the calculation results, it explains the magnitude of the coefficient of determination or R Square of 0.297 (0.297 × 100%), this shows that the percentage contribution of the influence of the independent variable social media content on the dependent variable news consumption patterns is 29.7% or the independent variable used in the model is able to explain the variance the news consumption pattern variable was 29.7%, while the remaining 70.3% (100%-29.7%) was influenced by other variables not included in the research model

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh modal sosial dalam dimensi kepercayaan,norma dan jaringan terhadap pengembangan usaha dan kemandirian pelaku usaha rumah tanggaikan asap di kota Ambon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat eksplanatori(explanatory research) selama dua bulan yakni bulan juni sampai dengan september 2019.Populsi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pelaku usaha rumah tangga ikan asap di kota Ambon.Sampel sebanyak 78 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik acak sederhana. Analisa data yangdigunakan adalah analisa jalur (path analysis) yang didukung dengan interpertasi deskriptifkualitatif. Data analisa dengan bantuan softwer Lisrel versi 8.50. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa pengaruh variabel kepercayaan, norma dan jaringan terhadap kemandirian melaluivariabel pengembngan usaha sebesar 96%, yang menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan usahaikan asap dapat ditingkatkan melalui penguatan modal sosial berupa kepercayaan, nilai dannorma yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kemandirian dan kemampuan ekonomi parapelaku usaha

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and organizational culture on performance through job satisfaction. The population of this study were all employees at the Regional Secretariat Office of South Buru Regency totaling 147 employees. The sampling in this study was 35% of the population because the population exceeded 100 people, namely 51 people. The data were analyzed using path analysis. The results of the study indicate that leadership style and organizational culture have a direct effect on performance, or indirectly through job satisfaction.
