Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan best practise ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa selama masa pandemi Covid-19 yang diimplementasikan pada pembelajaran tata rias melalui media sosial sehingga memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa dan hasil pembelajaran yang memuaskan selama belajar di rumah. Strategi yang digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan berpikir siswa pada pembelajaran tata rias adalah dengan diimplementasikannya pembelajaran dengan metode Project Based Learning (PjBL) melalui medsos. Penugasan proyek diberikan kepada siswa melalui sistem daring dan dikumpulkan di akhir semester karena tidak adanya kegiatan praktik dan tatap muka di sekolah, sehingga tidak memungkinkan bagi guru untuk melakukan penilaian setiap saat. Strategi ini dipilih karena dianggap sebagai suatu cara untuk mengajak siswa dapat berpikir kritis di tengah pandemi covid-19 pada pembelajaran tata rias. Implementasi metode PjBL dan penggunaan medsos sebagai sarana pembelajaran tata rias di tengah pandemi covid menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kritis. Diperoleh dampak positif sebagai berikut: sebagian besar siswa cepat merespon pesan yang diberikan guru, siswa cepat mengidentifikasi masalah yang disampaikan guru, siswa mampu memanfaatkan informasi yang diperoleh dari beberapa sumber belajar, siswa mampu menyelesaikan tugas secara bertahap, siswa sering mengajukan pertanyaan melalui chat dengan guru selama pembelajaran dan penyusunan laporan proyek, serta siswa bertanggung jawab terhadap penyelesaian tugas secara mandiri.

Abstract

Laporan best practice ini bertujuan untuk merekam seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran secara jarak jauh (online) yang dilakukan selama masa Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh peneliti dengan menggunakan strategi komunikasi persuasif yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan semangat berkreasi siswa dalam pembuatan animasi 2D. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 64 orang siswa-siswi Kelas XI Jurusan Multimedia SMK Negeri 2 Sewon Bantul. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa sempat menurun pada minggu ke-5 pada pelaksanaan BDR. Strategi yang telah dilakukan penulis, yaitu dengan menjalin komunikasi persuasif dengan siswa baik secara group maupun pribadi, mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan meningkatkan kreatifitas dalam membuat karya pada siswa. Terdapat peningkatan respon dalam grup WhatsApp dan penyerahan tugas-tugas secara langsung maupun tugas yang di unggah melalui laman media sosial masing-masing siswa.

Abstract

Education is a factor that determines human welfare so that it can be used as an indicator of the progress of a nation and state. The higher the quality of education of a nation and country, it is certain that the more developed and prosperous the nation and country will be. Educators are expected to be able to change the old paradigm in teaching, namely to convey as many lessons as possible with a new paradigm that emphasizes efforts to help students to be better able to understand, comprehend, or master concepts to solve a problem. The model uses a moodle application that offers a pleasant learning atmosphere, so students are invited to practice growing curiosity, responsibility, honesty and activeness of students. Moodle is a software package produced for internet-based learning activities and websites that use social constructionist pedagogy principles. Moodle is one of the applications of the concepts and mechanisms of teaching and learning that utilize information technology, which is known as the concept of electronic learning or e-learning. Moodle application is very good and interactive in online learning, thus making students not bored in distance learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

Self-regulated learning is very important during online learning in Covid-19 pandemic, since there is no face to face interaction between teacher and students. However, this student ability has not been found in our online class of Biology in X MIPA 1. Based on the author's reflection, students are still very dependent on teacher instruction during their learning activities. To overcome this problem, the author applied online learning utilizing JB Class by implementing self-regulated learning strategies adapted from Wandler & Imbriale (2017). Result of the study describes that online learning using JB Class is able to encourage student’s self-regulated learning. Based on the questionnaire filled out by students, the self-regulated learning among students of class X MIPA 1 reaches 75%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of students at class of X MIPA 2, SMA Negeri I Gamping, Sleman by utilizing the google classroom application as one of learning strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic on the subject work and energy. This study is a classroom action research conducted during two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Learning strategies utilized the google classroom application. The advantage of this application is learning management became easier for teachers and convey information precisely and accurately for students. The results of this study indicate that the learning strategy utilizing technology in the form of google classroom application during Covid-19 pandemic can improve student learning outcomes on the subject work and energy in class X MIPA 2 SMA Negeri I Gamping Sleman. The test result at the end of the first cycle showed 6 students with a percentage of completeness 18%. There was an increase in the percentage of completeness in second cycle, i.e 94% from 31 students. Result of this study describe that the target percentage of students completeness has exceeded the minimum limit value.

Abstract

This article aims to enhance the motivation in learning English of the tenth grade Students of SMA N 7 Yogyakarta by using JBClass during COVID-19 pandemic. This article is a best practice which was conducted in the 2nd semester, 2019-2020 academic year. The subjects were the tenth grade students of SMA N 7 Yogyakarta which consists of 8 classes (6 science classes and 2 social classes). They were 280 students (178 girls and 102 boys). The steps of problem solving in this best practice by using JBClass as e-learning during COVID-19 pandemic. The instruments of this best practice were taken from the features in JBClass namely material, assignment, evaluation and score recapitulation. The result shows that using JBClass in e-learning during COVID-19 pandemic can enhance the motivation in learning English of the tenth grade students of SMA N 7 Yogyakarta, 2019-2020 academic year. This enhancement can be seen from the higher of mean from each class’ English score and the timeliness in submitting of the assignment and evaluation in e-learning using JBClass during COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This Best Practice writing aims to: (1) describe the increase in student learning activities through online learning with Google Classroom and (2) describe the improvement in student learning outcomes through online learning with Google Classroom during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subject of the writing of this Best Practice is the students of class XI MIPA 2 in SMA N 1 Bantul in Academic Year 2019/2020, with a total of 30 students. Writing this Best Practices using descriptive methods. Information is collected based on student activities through documentation and student learning outcomes using tests. The strategy used is online learning with Google Classroom through five operational stages, namely: (1) Teacher Planning Learning Implementation Plan (RPP); (2) The teacher starts the learning and assignment material then uploads it to Google Classroom; (3) Students learn learning materials and work on assignments given by the teacher with Google Classroom using a cellphone or laptop; (4) The teacher monitors the implementation of the online learning process; (5) The teacher provides feedback online learning and the work done by students is also uploaded. The implementation of online learning with Google Classroom during the Covid-19 pandemic can increase: (1) student activity in learning. The percentage of student activeness in face-to-face learning was 71.39% with the active category increasing to 75.83% with the very active category in online learning with Google Cassroom; and (2) student learning outcomes. The average value of student learning outcomes in KD previously with face-to-face learning was 85.16 with a good category, an increase of 5.11 to 90.27 with a good category in online learning using Google Classroom on the Job Application Letter material.

Abstract

Penulisan best practice ini memiliki tujuan: 1) Siswa dapat menerapkan instruksi dalam bahasa Perancis bagi siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta tahun pelajaran 2019-2020 dengan lafal, intonasi dan sikap yang benar. 2) Dapat diketahui langkah-langkah pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan penggunaan strategi pembuatan Tik Tok video pendek yang berisi tentang pemberian instruksi untuk tetap tinggal di rumah selama pandemi Covid-19. Instruksi yang disampaikan dalam video Tik Tok berkaitan dengan sosialisasi salah satu protokol Covid-19, yakni tetap tinggal di rumah, demi meminimalkan penularan virus Corona. Dengan pembuatan video Tik Tok yang sangat digemari anak-anak milenial dan meluasnya penggunaan media sosial, momentum ini harus dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran online. Pembelajaran inidilakukan secara mandiri dan kolegial, Dalam penilaiannya, penekanaan pada ketepatan lafal, intonasi dan sikapi. Berdasarkan analisis penilaian, diperoleh rata-rata nilai siswa 87,80. Sebanyak 82,14% siswa dapat melafalkan kalimat imperatif dengan benar, 94,05% siswa dapat menggunakan intonasi dengan benar, dan 92,86 % memiliki kepercayaan diri yang baik. Langkah-langkah pembuatan video Tik Tok ini dapat diketahui dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian hasil. Dalam menyelesaikan tugas, siswa melakukan secara individu dan menggabungkannya dalam kelompok besar, sehingga menjadi satu karya yang merepresentasikan produk kelompok, kolaborasi antar siswa di kelas dapat terlihat secara jelas. Dengan pembuatan video Tik Tok terjadi peningkatan kompetensi dalam menafsirkan instruksi melalui pembelajaran online.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan dan nilai nilai pembelajaran sejarah menggunakan Google Classroom masa pandemic covid-19 pada kelas XI MIPA 2 di SMA Negeri 1 Sewon. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran berlangsung delapan kali pertemuan. Manfaat pembelajaran daring menggunakan Google Classroom peserta didik dapat mengatahui sejarah peristiwa sekitar proklamasi, pembentukan pemerintahan Republik Indonesia, perjuangan menghadapi kekuasaan Jepang, perjuangan menghadapi kedatangan Sekutu dan Belanda, serta perjuangan meghadapi aancaman Belanda melalui konfontasi militer dan deplomasi. Kelebihan penggunaan Google Classroom, guru dan peserta didik menjadi terbiasa menggunakan pembelajaran daring. Hambatan penggunaan Google Classroom, guru dan peserta didik tidak dapat bertatap muka langsung dalam pembelajaran. Apabila sarana kurang memadai dapat menghambat pembelajaran daring. Nilai-nilai mempelajari materi sejarah revolusi kemerdekaan Indonesia antara lain: 1) sabar dan bijaksana; 2) kerja keras; 3) rela berkorban tanpa pamrih; 4) pantang menyerah; 5) nasionalisme; 6) cinta tanah air; 7) saling menghargai.

Abstract

The corona virus outbreak is taking place in Indonesia and global society since March, 2020. The virus spread from person to person through physical contact so that the government prohibit gathering activities. This condition forced application of online learning in the field of education. This study aims to measure the active presence, learning outcomes and effectiveness of online physics learning through WhatsApp, google form, and email. Topics in online physics learning were Heat (March 24, 2020) and Thermodynamics (March 31, 2020). This study is an evaluation research that conducted in the following steps: 1) Determine the schedule for Physics online learning for class X every Tuesday at 09.00-10.30 am (1.5 hour), 2) Create or using the available a WhatsApp group that had been created by homeroom teacher, 3) Create a google form for student attendance, 4) Create a link to be delivered in the WhatsApp group, therefore the structured assignments were delivered via email, 5) Review student assignments, and 6) Recapitule students’ active presence and physics learning outcomes. Results of the study reveal that the average of students’ active attendance at March 24, 2020 was 87.25%, and the average learning outcomes was 87.89. The average of students active attendance and the average learning outcomes at March 31, 2020 were 94.75%, and 79.66, respectively. The average achievement of active attendance and learning outcomes were 91% and 83.77, respectively. This result indicate that student achievement was passed the minimum competence level in physics, i.e 75. It can be concluded that online physics learning using WhatsApp for communication combined with google form for assessment is effective, both for teacher and students.
