Abstract

One aspect of building quality human beings is discipline. Schools not only provide knowledge to students but also build students to become disciplined individuals. This classroom action research aimed to determine the effectiveness of liaison books in increasing student discipline in class attendance, extra-curricular activities, doing assignments/work, and ethical manners at school. The research subjects were students of class XI at State Senior High School 9 Bengkulu City. Classroom action research was carried out for two months in the 2022/2023 school year. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. Data were obtained from 99 sample students using observation, interview, and documentation techniques for the research instruments that had been prepared. The average data were analyzed qualitatively to define the success of the action. The results showed that the liaison book at the end of the third cycle improved student discipline in class attendance, extra-curricular activities, doing assignments/work, and ethical manners at school to good criteria with a score of 4.1. Thus, liaison books can effectively improve student discipline, so liaison books between schools and parents must be used to collaborate in children's education.

Abstract

Cheating is an act or dishonest treatment, as well as cheating to get good grades on exams or when working on questions for each lesson. With each individual must improve behavior that can minimize cheating behavior to achieve goals. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the variables of conformity, self-control, and self-esteem with students' cheating behavior. The method used in this research is quantitative. There were 204 subjects in this study. The data collection tool used a scale of conformity, self-control, self-esteem, and cheating behavior. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with SPSS 23 software for windows. The results of multiple regression analysis show that the sig value is 0.000, meaning that there is a correlation between conformity, self-control, self-esteem, and cheating behavior. Partially, there is no significant correlation between conformity and cheating behavior with a significant value of 0.371>0.05. There is a significant relationship between self-control and cheating behavior with a significant value of 0.010 <0.05 with an effective contribution of 0.049%. There is a significant relationship between self-esteem and cheating behavior with a significant value of 0.038<0.05 with an effective contribution of 0.032%. With it can be said that there is no significant relationship between conformity behavior and cheating behavior. And there is a significant relationship between self-control and self-esteem with cheating behavior.

Abstract

The level of activity and learning outcomes of students in Basic Network Computer learning for class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Pleret has not been as expected. This study aims to determine the increase in the activity and learning outcomes of Computers and Basic Networks through problem-based learning models which include psychomotor aspects or skills, cognitive or knowledge, and affective or attitude aspects. Class action research will be carried out in two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class X TKJ especially class X TKJ A for the 2019-2020 academic year which consisted of 37 students, consisting of 33 boys and 4 girls. Data collection techniques were carried out using written tests and observations, as well as analysis of quantitative and qualitative descriptive data. The results of this class action research showed that the learning outcomes of students in pre-cycle obtained a complete percentage of 40.5%, cycle I obtained a complete percentage of 43.24%, and in cycle II obtained a complete percentage of 81.08%. Increased activity and learning outcomes are indicated by an increase in the percentage of pre-cycle completeness to cycle I by 6.7% and from cycle I to cycle II an increase in the percentage of completeness by 87.5% Based on research results show that learning with the problem based learning model can increase activity and results learn computer network basic learners.

Abstract

Mobile phones are currently the primary devices that occupy a central position in people's daily lives. All aspects of human needs are intertwined with mobile phones. They are used for entertainment, economics, transportation, healthcare, and even education. In the realm of learning activities, teachers have started utilizing mobile phones as a medium to support and facilitate the delivery of instructional materials. The research conducted in Class 8A of SMPN 2 Mertoyudan during the academic year 2022/2023 aims to describe the utilization of mobile phones to enhance students' understanding of computer network hardware material. The role of mobile phones in the learning process assists students in searching for relevant materials and supporting information related to the subject matter being taught. The stages of learning conducted in this research include preparation, concept introduction, interactive activities, exercises and evaluation, feedback and monitoring. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, utilizing questionnaire instruments in the form of pretests and posttests. The success criterion established for this research is that students achieve a minimum passing grade (KKM), which is equal to or higher than 77. The research findings indicate that the students' scores improved significantly, as none of the students reached the KKM during the pretest, while 25 out of 32 students achieved the KKM in the posttest. Therefore, it can be concluded that through the utilization of mobile phones, students' understanding of computer network hardware material can be enhanced.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the problem solving ability, learning independence, and learning outcomes of students are still low when learning activities. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the stages of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted at SD Kanisius Demangan Baru I with the research subject of class II C students with a total of 20 students. The object of research is problem solving ability, learning independence, and student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and tests. This research data analysis technique uses descriptive data analysis techniques. The average score of problem solving skills in the pre-cycle was 37.5%, cycle 1 was 55%, and cycle 2 was 70%; the average score of learning independence in the pre-cycle stage was 50%, cycle 1 was 69%, and cycle 2 was 75%; and the average value of pre-cycle students was 70.6, in cycle 1 the average value of students was 90, and cycle 2 the average value of students became 96. It can be concluded that the PBL learning model can improve problem solving skills, learning independence, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The need for intelligent school transportation is very urgent to think about together. Violations of traffic rules at SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta include violations of traffic rules committed by level X students, who are not yet eligible to use motorized vehicles according to Law No. 22 of 2009 article 81. DAPODIK data shows more than 50% of students use motorbikes to school from 1944 the number of students in the school. Solutions to revive public transportation facilities are urgently needed with methods that can provide effective and efficient value services. School buses as an alternative to public transportation solutions that require an optimization strategy for student gathering points (smart stops). Relevant research related to smart transportation and problem solving of school bus routes and determining their stops such as the title Optimization of Traveling Salesman Problems in School Transportation Using Genetic Algorithms (Assayyis et al., 2020) and research entitled Shareability Network Based Decomposition Approach for Solving Large-scale Multi -modal School Bus Routing Problems (Guo & Samaranayake, 2020) have utilized several PROBLEM SOLVING OPTIMIZATION (PSO) algorithms, this research will combine clustering and optimization to get the number of assembly points. Python language with the Anaconda platform as a clustering application and measuring the quality of the K-Means algorithm. Clustering quality measurement uses the DAVIES BOULDIN INDEX (DBI) method and the elbow method to obtain the number of pick-up points. Student gathering points based on the clustering method describe smart stops that have an effective and efficient impact on public transportation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development and feasibility of interactive multimedia "Kihajar Beriman" (Kita Harus Belajar Broadcasting dan Perfilman) on digital media learning elements at SMKN 2 Kediri. The development model used is ADDIE, namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. First, the analysis phase consists of observation and teacher interviews to provide an analysis of the curriculum and student characteristics. Second, designing interactive learning multimedia. Third, the development of interactive learning multimedia is validated by media and material experts to determine its feasibility, as well as find out student responses. Fourth, the implementation stage for students in class X BPF 1 at SMKN 2 Kediri. Fifth, the evaluation stage is managing the results of the assessment and making conclusions. The results of the research and data analysis show that the interactive multimedia "Kihajar Beriman" is declared fit for use as a learning medium in the Digital Media element at SMKN 2 Kediri with an average score of 83%. The details of the results of the assessment are the media format aspect with a percentage of 81.7%, the media material aspect is 82.8%, and the media language aspect is 85%. This research is expected to be used as an alternative learning media and developed in other learning elements.

Abstract

The writing of this best practice is intended to describe the distance learning process for basic banking subjects in class X Financial Accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Godean. The data obtained before learning showed that students began to feel bored studying at home and the material was not clear. By applying the group-based Project-Based Learning method in groups, it is hoped that they will work together in learning so that the material becomes clear, and learning outcomes will increase. The learning media used are WhatsApp groups and Google Classroom. Learning is carried out with the stages of analyzing problems, designing and implementing projects, carrying out research, developing project drafts and prototypes, measuring, assessing and improving products, finalizing and publishing products. Quantitative and qualitative data were obtained by survey, observation and performance techniques, with instruments in the form of questionnaires, observation sheets and assessment sheets. From the implementation of the learning, the results of the knowledge value were 47% with very good predicates, 38% good and 15% quite good, skills with 25% very good, 67% good and 8% quite good. good, 29% good, 14% quite good, while 2% is not good. The results of the questionnaire show that the group-based Project-Based Learning model makes the material clearer and improves student learning outcomes. Based on the learning outcomes, the writer recommends the teacher use the group-based Project-Based Learning model to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify whether content mastery using Thinglink can improve the profile of Pancasila students in the aspect of independent learning. The research subjects were students of class X IPA-1 at SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year.The research method is to make thorough observations using instruments made by researchers based on the theoretical basis used in the research. Descriptive qualitative techniques are data analysis techniques used in this study, to explain activity data in cycles from the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the study explained that class X IPA 1 students experienced an increase in the ability of Pancasila student profiles in the aspect of learning independence. In the aspect of self-awareness and the situation at hand, before the action was 77.22%, at the end of cycle II it became 88.33%. The data shows an increase in self-awareness and the situation faced by 11.11%. The aspect of self-regulation learning in regulating metacognition before action was 81.94%, after cycle II it increased to 89.58%. Improved aspects of self-regulation learning in regulating metacognition by 7.64%. Aspects of self-regulation learning in managing motivation, the initial data is 79.78%, the completion of cycle II action reaches 86.11%. Self regulation learning in managing motivation increases 6.33%. The aspect of self-regulation learning in regulating behavior before action is 65.28%, after cycle II it becomes 83.33%. Increasing the aspect of self-regulation learning in regulating behavior increased by 18.05%. So it can be concluded that the content mastery service of the cooperative learning model using Thinglink can increase the profile of Pancasila students in the aspect of student learning independence.

Abstract

Based on the results of pre-cycle observations, it is known that the learning activity of students in class XI MIA 2 SMAN 10 Palembang is still in the low category. So we need a strategy to increase the active learning. This research was conducted as an action to increase the active learning of students using the PBL model with a differentiation strategy. This research is a classroom action research carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of 3 stages, namely action planning, action implementation and reflection. Research data was collected by means of observation by 5 observers of 30 students. Then the data were analyzed by comparing the results of observations in pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2. From the observation results it is known that there is an increase in student learning activity from 51.36% (pre-cycle), increasing to 58.75% (average cycle 1) and then increasing to 77.5% (average cycle 2), so it can be concluded that the PBL model with a differentiation strategy can increase the activeness of students. This research can be used as a reference for educators in increasing the activity of students in class.
