Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting learning processes and strengthening digital literacy in secondary education. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted using the PRISMA protocol, with articles retrieved from the Scopus database as the main data source. The selection process involved identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages to ensure the quality and relevance of the selected studies. The findings indicate that AI plays a significant role in enhancing learning effectiveness, personalized instruction, adaptive assessment, and the development of students’ critical thinking and digital literacy skills. However, several major challenges remain, including limited infrastructure, unequal access to technology, teachers’ readiness, and issues related to ethics and data security. These results emphasize that the successful implementation of AI in education depends not only on technological advancement but also on human resource readiness and supportive educational policies. This study provides practical implications for educators and policymakers and serves as a foundation for future theoretical development and further research on AI integration in education.

Abstract

This research reveals a fundamental paradox in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5): schools achieve 96.46% physical output success while teachers' understanding of character dimensions reaches only 32.30%. A product-oriented trap occurs when focus on visible output metrics overshadows meaningful learning processes and internalization of values. Using the Discrepancy Evaluation Model with a mixed method approach, this evaluative research involved 226 students, 12 teachers, and 5 principals from five elementary schools in Dlingo Subdistrict, Bantul Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. Findings revealed an extreme gap in the "installation" aspect (teacher understanding) of 67.70%, indicating that teacher training remains technical-procedural rather than philosophical-substantive. The product trap is systemic: success metrics focused on visible outputs, inadequate teacher training, overloaded rural school structures, and "busy is good" culture mutually reinforce one another. This research validates the Ministry of Education's 2025 decision to replace P5 with meaningful co-curricular activities and recommends reorienting teacher training, changing monitoring systems, and simplifying administrative burden to realize substantive and sustainable character education.

Abstract

The shift in people's understanding of the symbolic meaning of traditional clothing due to the tide of modernization has led to traditional clothing often being understood only as ceremonial attire in traditional ceremonies and rituals, including Takwo Kustim from the Kutai Kartanegara Ing Martadipura Sultanate. In fact, this clothing contains a cultural symbol system that represents the identity, social structure, and local wisdom values of the Kutai people. This study aims to examine and interpret the symbolic meaning of the elements of Takwo Kustim traditional clothing and explain its potential as a medium for public education based on local wisdom. This study uses a qualitative approach by combining Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotics and ethnography. Data was obtained through literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through a process of classification, interpretation, and data meaning. The results of the study show that the material elements, colors, motifs, and attributes of Takwo Kustim contain symbolic meanings that represent authority, legitimacy of power, spirituality, and the continuity of the traditional values of the Kutai Sultanate. These findings confirm that Takwo Kustim is not only a cultural artifact but also has great potential as a contextual public education medium. The conclusion of the study shows that the use of Takwo Kustim as a public education medium can strengthen cultural literacy, collective identity, and the preservation of local wisdom, and has the potential to be developed as a source of art and culture learning in educational and public spaces.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan produk e-modul interaktif pengolahan kue Indonesia berbahan dasar tepung ketan sebagai sumber belajar yang adaptif dan kontekstual bagi siswa pada satuan pendidikan nonformal; (2) menilai tingkat kelayakan e-modul melalui validasi ahli materi, ahli media dan respon siswa; (3) menguji efektivitas e-modul dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D. Hasil penelitian (1) E-modul yang sistematis dengan struktur materi yang lengkap, meliputi teori dasar, bahan dan alat, langkah pembuatan produk, video praktik, serta kuis interaktif, sehingga mampu memvisualisasikan proses pembuatan kue tradisional berbahan dasar tepung ketan secara konkret dan kontekstual. (2) Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berada pada kategori sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar digital. Penilaian ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,87–3,95 dari skala 4,00 dengan kategori sangat baik. Penilaian ahli media menunjukkan skor rata-rata 3,60–3,90 dengan kategori sangat baik (3) Efektivitas e-modul tergolong tinggi, ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji lapangan skala besar yang memperoleh 74,29% siswa pada kategori N-Gain tinggi dan 25,71% pada kategori N-Gain sedang, dengan rata-rata N-Gain 0.721 termasuk kategori tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan e-modul interaktif pengolahan kue Indonesia berbahan dasar tepung ketan dinyatakan praktis, serta memberikan efektivitas yang baik sebagai sumber belajar bagi siswa.
