Abstract

This research was conducted because of the problem of low learning activeness in students. This research is focused on making students in class XI MIA 5 at SMAN 10 Palembang become more active in the learning process. In an effort to carry out this research, the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach was used and the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study involved 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings involving 30 research subjects. Data collection in this study was an observation sheet of students' active learning which was validated using CVI. In the results obtained, it is known that there is an increase in student activity on an ongoing basis in each cycle which in cycle 1 meeting 1 was 58% to 66% at meeting 2, then in the second stage of the cycle, there was an increase from 70% to 80% at the second meeting. Based on these data it can be seen that in cycle II, the research was said to be successful by obtaining very good information. From the results of the research, it is said that applying the PBL model accompanied by video media is able to increase the activity of students in class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of use Stylus Pen with Microsoft Onenote on student learning outcomes on the subject matter of the reproductive system. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 30 students from class XI MIA 1 SMAN 10 Palembang. This research process consists of two cycles, namely Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Implementation of the action using the learning model Discovery Learning. In the pre-cycle stage, it can be seen that the average completeness value is 47.8, which is still below the minimum completeness, which is 72.00, so it is important to make improvements. In cycle I, the average score of completeness touched 85 and experienced an increase in mastery to 92.3 in cycle II, which met the minimum score of completeness. Based on the results of this study it can be seen that the use Stylus Pen with application Microsoft Onenote can improve student learning outcomes in the material of the reproductive system. The results of this study can be used as reference material for teachers and prospective educators to identify appropriate learning media to improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

Classroom action research (PTK) training really needs to be carried out so that teachers are motivated to do scientific publications. The andragorial learning model is considered more appropriate for adults than the lecture method. The purpose of this study was to find out the process of training in writing PTK proposals using the andragogical learning model for 11 teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Sedayu in 2022 in order to increase teacher competence in writing CAR proposals. The PTS model used is the Kemmis and McTaggart models with the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Based on the planning / pre-cycle stage, the percentage of teachers' promotion at SMK N 1 Sedayu was very low (20%) due to a lack of publication value. In cycle 1, only 2 components, the research title and problem formulation, received good marks, the other components received fair scores (n=61-72). After cycle 2, overall there was an average increase of ±15% so that each component category turned out to be good (≥80). Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the CAR proposal writing training with andragogy learning strategies succeeded in increasing teacher competence in writing proposals. Training on writing CAR proposals using the andragogical learning model is most effective in increasing the ability to identify problems and determine research procedures. The part of the PTK proposal component that still requires more detailed training is data collection techniques.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kemampuan peserta didik menyelesaikan soal HOTs masih rendah, terlihat dari rata-rata perolehan nilai dari soal HOTs pada materi sebelumnya kurang dari kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal HOTS procedure text melalui pembelajaran flipped classroom. Model penelitian yang digunakan mengadopsi dari Kemmis dan Taggart dengan 2 siklus dan 2 pertemuan untuk setiap siklusnya. Model pembelajaran ini diimplementasikan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu before class, during class, dan after class dalam setiap pertemuannya. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi kinerja guru, lembar observasi keaktifan peserta didik, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan instrumen tes, serta dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil observasi menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran pada setiap pertemuan dan peningkatan hasil dari pretest ke postest pada setiap siklus serta peningkatan hasil postes dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 (71.88% pada siklus 1 dan 87.50% pada siklus 2). Berdasar uraian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran flipped classroom dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal yang memerlukan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) dari procedure text.

Abstract

Tujuan riset ini untuk melihat implementasi corak pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar materi keseimbangan pasar pada siswa kelas X.4 di SMA Negeri 1 Bambanglipuro tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Dan untuk mengenali aktivitas guru dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar yang mengimplementasikan corak TSTS dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar materi keseimbangan pasar pada siswa kelas X.4 di SMA Negeri 1 Bambanglipuro tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Riset ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmys McTaggart dan sudah dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Prinsip model ini adalah pemberian tindakan dalam siklus yang bertahap dan berkesinambungan dengan empat tahapan yaitu, a) perencanaan; b) tindakan; c) observasi; d) refleksi. Alat pengumpulan data berupa observasi kelas, tes prestasi belajar, dan penggalian dokumen. Pengamatan dilakukan di tiap tahapan. Hasil riset ini memperlihatkan implementasi corak pembelajaran TSTS dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Meningkatnya prestasi belajar terekam di siklus pertama ada 17 siswa (53,12%) nilainya atau sudah memenuhi KKM dan di siklus kedua ada 27 siswa (84,38%) nilainya atau sudah memenuhi KKM, Jadi kenaikan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 31,26% dan kenaikan rerata prestasi belajar siklus pertama ke siklus kedua sebesar 15,63 ialah dari nilai rerata 63,75 pada siklus pertama berubah nilai reratanya 79,38 pada siklus kedua. Hasil aktivitas siswa juga naik yakni di siklus pertama hanya kategori “cukup” dan di siklus kedua berubah jadi “sangat baik”.

Abstract

This study aims to develop handout but that have limited pages which are able to explain the topic broadly through the inclusion of a qr code on special occasions dish materials for traditional events. This research is a research and development (R&D) research that uses the Four-D development model of Thiagarajan and Semmel. The steps involved include define, design, develop, and disseminate. Defining is how to analyze learning, students, concepts, tasks and specifications of learning objectives. Designing is producing a product prototype that will be developed. Developing aims to develop handout prototype based qr code until it is valid and suitable for use. Disseminating is a stage to determine the effectiveness of developing handouts widely distributed. The methods of data collection are through expert validation instruments, observations, interviews, and written test results. The data were analyzed by means of triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results showed that based on the validation of IT experts, a score of 39 was obtained at interval 45 > X 37.5, Media Expert obtained a score of 42 located at interval 45 > X 37.5, Material Expert obtained a score of 53 located at interval X 45, subject teacher validation obtained a score of 52 located in the interval X 45, student responses obtained a score of 50.1 located in the interval X 45. Conclusion of research and development results through R & D model 4-D handout based on qr code in the worthy category to be used as a learning medium and able to improve learning achievement.

Abstract

Economics lessons method and media is very minimal. This study aims to increase learning interest and achievement in economics subjects by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. With this PBL model it is expected that students' interest and learning achievement will increase, the score they achieve is complete or minimum KKM is 75. If it is less than 75 then it is not complete. In the pre-cycle, which has not used the PBL learning model, the student's score is 22.22%, where 8 students reached the KKM, and 28 students or 77.78% have not reached the KKM. After learning using the PBL model showed in cycle 1, 66.67% where students who completed were 24 and not completed were 12. In cycle 2 94.44% where students who completed were 34 and not completed were 2. It can be seen that the implementation of class action from each cycle has increased learning outcomes. This increase in learning achievement shows that the application of the PBL method is effectively applied in economics learning. Based on the table of results on students' interest in economics, lessons with the PBL model. In cycle 1 there were 1.85% and in cycle 2 there were 43.52%.

Abstract

The writing skills of the presenters of class X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta for the 2022-2023 academic year are still low. Students do not have sufficient vocabulary, and knowledge related to grammar is still low. The purpose of this study was to improve the presenter's writing skills with the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition strategy. The method used is Classroom Action Research referring to the Kemmis & Taggart model, which begins with planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. This research was conducted in two cycles, each beginning with planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The results showed that: 1) the steps applied to this strategy included understanding the concept, exploration and application and ending with publication 2) the percentage of learning completeness in cycle one was 69.5% with an average value of 75, while the learning completeness cycle second by 84% with an average of 77.64. The increase in the percentage of learning outcomes in cycle one and cycle two was 17.26%. Thus it can be concluded that by combining reading and writing competencies and group work in the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition strategy, students' writing skills can be improved.

Abstract

Students’ writing skill at procedure text is not good enough. The objectives of the research are improving writing skill at procedure text using Think-Talk-Write (TTW) method for students’ class XI science 3 Yogyakarta 10th Senior High School academic year 2021-2022 and describing its implementation in teaching and learning process. It is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 4 activities are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was done in two cycles, and two meetings in every cycle. Students class XI science 3 Yogyakarta are the subject of the research. Collecting data techniques in the research are observation, quiz, practice, and documentation. The result of data analyses was compared to indicators of success and then was concluded. It is showed that by applying TTW method 23 students (64%) gained the minimum mastery criteria in cycle 1 and 33 students (92%) in cycle 2. The increasing is 28%. The indicator of success stated 85% of students gain the minimum mastery criteria, and 92% of students gained it in cycle 2. Thus, the action is successful.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see and find out the teacher's evaluation of learning the Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan and Arabic Language (ISMUBA) curriculum at the Muhammadiyah Charity Business School of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Palopo. The research method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Informants were selected using snowball sampling. While the subjects in this study were 4 informants as ISMUBA teachers. Data collection techniques are using observation, interviews and documentation. The interviews used were through in-depth interviews using unstructured interviews in order to obtain deep information. The data analysis technique used begins with reduction, presentation and conclusion. Results (1) the implementation of the ISMUBA curriculum has gone well and also facilitated the process of making learning tools carried out by Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan and Arabic Language teachers, (2) the implementation of the ISMUBA curriculum has limited time which has not been maximized in each subject taught to students , as well as a lack of teacher training (debriefing) in implementing the curriculum so that teachers need more training, especially understanding and learning methods of ISMUBA, (3) lack of infrastructure and praga tools in several subjects so that they are not optimal in providing practice or applying ISMUBA values, (4) the need for advanced training or ISMUBA curriculum workshops, either sustainable or structured, to make it easier for students to understand and practice related to the Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan and Arabic curricula.
