Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenges of educators in the 21st century who demand to transform the teaching and learning process using technological tools as part of the competencies and characteristics of 21st-century students. One way of transforming the teaching and learning process can be done by changing learning methods that utilize technological tools as part of the learning process and can increase students' learning motivation in their learning activities. Therefore, researchers chose the flipped learning method in order to see its influence on students' learning motivation in PAI subjects. This research aims to describe the data on the differences between students' learning motivation before and after using the flipped learning method, especially in PAI subjects in Class VI SDN 5 Rancah, Rancah District, Ciamis Regency, and to determine the effect of the flipped learning method on students' learning motivation in PAI subjects. in class VI at SDN 5 Rancah, Rancah Ciamis District. Apart from that, researchers also want to know. This research uses a quantitative experimental method using a questionnaire instrument or learning motivation questionnaire and pre-test and post-test instruments, both of which are aimed at class VI students at SDN 5 Rancah, Rancah District, Ciamis Regency. Apart from that, direct observation was also carried out at the research location. The results of this research show that before using the flipped learning method in the teaching and learning process in PAI subjects, the student's learning motivation scores showed an average pretest score of 64.8125. Then, after using the flipped learning method in the teaching and learning process in PAI subjects, the student's learning motivation scores showed an average post-test score of 73.3125. Based on the results of these two conditions, the researcher concluded that there was a significant influence, as proven by the hypothesis test data, that the flipped learning method variable (X) contributed or could explain the learning motivation variable (Y) by 32.8% while the remaining 67.2 % explained by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

Critical thinking is very necessary in today's world, so it must be taught to children from an early age. Critical thinking helps students develop effective problem-solving skills. so that students can analyze problems, identify solutions, and choose the best solution. This study aims to stimulate the critical thinking skills of children aged 4-5 years. The method used is qualitative. The data collection technique used is observation of student behavior when using the flip chart image series media and interviews with teachers and students to find out what they think about the implementation of the media. As well as data analysis techniques in this study are presented in descriptive form sourced from interviews, in this study the subjects of the study were teachers and children. The results of the study showed that the flip chart image series media used can stimulate the critical thinking skills of children aged 4-5 years in solving a problem in the picture series story and are able to provide solutions or opinions related to existing problems. Children are able to understand and recognize information through pictures, children are able to recognize causal relationships through pictures, children are able to evaluate the contents of the story, children are able to provide conclusions related to the contents of the picture series story.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has given new hopes and changed the elements of education for the better, especially in inclusive education. AI is very concerned with equality, which is expected to help children with special needs get their rights and a more appropriate education. However, the presence of AI has also brought many negative impacts due to the lack of understanding of the ethical principles that must be implemented. This paper was compiled to explore The Importance of Ethical of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Inclusive Education. The results of this study show that until now there have been many public, private, and government organizations in various countries around the world that have created multiple guidelines to regulate, guide, and protect all elements involved and affected by the progress of AI. Among them are charter agreements and various guidelines related to ethical principles, basic rights, fundamental values, and other instruments that have been studied and compiled in detail and very systematically. But the conditions that have occurred until now are far from perfect. AI still presents many problems, concerns, and forms of unavoidable abuses, especially in inclusive education.

Abstract

The development of P5 teaching module in the curriculum independent is very important because it adapts to technological developments and the transition from the previous 2013 curriculum to the independent curriculum. The current problem in the school is that teachers are still having problems in compiling teaching modules and the lack of use the interactive learning models also the use of IT-based learning media so it takes an impact on achieving learning objectives namely low student learning outcomes. Developing a teaching module requires a model that can involve students in the learning process also the use of IT-based learning media that can adapt to technological developments and the needs of the times. So, the aim of this research is to determine the validity of modules, IT-based learning media with research instruments, also to determine the responses of teachers and students in using teaching modules. What will be measured in the development of this module are the validity of the module, learning media, research instruments also the student and teacher responses in using the module. This research is development research that using the 4-D model, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The instruments used are validation sheets, student-teacher response sheets, and student learning result test sheets. According to the study results, it was found that the validity of teaching modules, IT-based learning media and research instruments is absolutely valid category so it can be applied in the learning process. Meanwhile, the response of the students and the teachers about using teaching module is get a very positive response.

Abstract

The research objective of the art innovation dissemination programme for bamboo craft groups in Kalurahan Bawuran, Pleret, Bantul, Yogyakarta is to create new designs and marketing of bamboo products in the digital era to improve the economic welfare of the community through art education and technical training. Bamboo products in Kalurahan Bawuran are a legacy of skills passed down from generation to generation. Bamboo raw materials are obtained from the local area, but often the quality of bamboo is poor, monotonous designs and product marketing are still a problem for crafters. Crafters do not yet have an efficient production system to produce products with optimal quality and marketing capacity. The urgency of this research is to improve the quality of renewable designs with better machine technology, so that bamboo furniture products can penetrate the global market. The 30 selected craftsmen involved were equipped with business management, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing. This qualitative research uses an aesthetic method with a practice-based research approach carried out with the stages of literature research, empiric study, visual research, and practice. The aesthetics of new bamboo craft creations have an impact on the preservation of sustainable local artistic creations that are able to meet the needs of the global era. This research produced 3 sets of functional products and 1 new design gazebo with an impact on economic improvement with business management methods (entrepreneurship and modern marketing) which are expected to be a means of environmentally sound education and regeneration of creative craftsmen as an entity that must be maintained, preserved, and developed according to the demands of the times.

Abstract

Rapid technological advances have contributed to a decrease in the effectiveness of education and eroded the values of nationalism and patriotism among the millennial generation. This study aims to design and develop Canva-based Learner Worksheets (LKPD) with a focus on Pancasila values material for grade IV students in Gugus 1, Padang Utara District. The approach used is Research and Development (R&D), with the application of the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The E-LKPD that has been developed is then validated by experts using a questionnaire as a validation instrument. This validation involved experts in the fields of media, material, and language. The results of the validation showed that the validity level obtained was 97.5% for the media aspect, very valid category; 95% for the material aspect, very valid category; and 80% for the language aspect, which is still in the valid category. The final result of this validation process confirms that the Canva-based E-LKPD is very feasible and ready to be used in the learning process. In the pilot test at school, the teacher's response showed a percentage of 92.5%, while the students' response reached 89.8%, both in the highly valid category. The practicality test conducted at the research school showed that the teacher's response reached 97% and the students' response reached 93%, both also classified as very valid. Thus, it can be concluded that this Canva-based LKPD is very valid and effective to be applied as a learning tool in grade IV SD.

Abstract

The study addresses issues related to the usage of “to be” in unstructured written conversations among vocational high school students through the WhatsApp group platform.The focus is an analysis using AntConc to understand conversational patterns involving “to be”. The research aims to identify sentence variations and common errors among the students. The source of evidence is the corpus of unstructured written conversations among the students on the WhatsApp group platform. The analysis involves employing a descriptive method from corpus linguistic research to understand sentence variations and detect common errors related to the usage of “to be”. The students employ the use of “to be” in several variations of grammar structure such as nominal sentence, passive sentence, progressive tense and be going to. However, observations also reveal some errors such as omission, misordering, and miss formation. The findings suggest a need for more in-depth instruction regarding the placement of the verb “to be” in sentences. It would include insights into conversational patterns and the prevalence of errors. The implications of the study highlight the importance of more intensive lessons for students. The recommendation is that teachers should provide more intensive instruction in these areas.

Abstract

The fixed or looping homeroom model shows the potential to improve the relationship between teachers, students, and parents. This research was conducted to find out and describe the model of the permanent homeroom teacher and its impact on the relationship between teachers, students, and parents at SD Aisyiyah Unggulan Gemolong using a qualitative descriptive approach and a phenomenological model. The techniques used in the research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the homeroom model at SD Aisyiyah has a positive impact. The existence of this system allows homeroom teachers to improve the quality of learning and create a comfortable, open, and supportive environment for learning and development. Good proximity between homeroom teachers, students, and parents has a significant influence on students' academic success and emotional development. This model also generates a sense of trust, comfort, and closeness that makes students feel more comfortable in learning and interacting at school. This model of a permanent homeroom teacher is effective and useful in education at SD Aisyiyah and has received positive support from students' parents. Overall, the homeroom model at SD Aisyiyah has succeeded in building a good relationship between homeroom teachers, students, and parents, which consistently and continuously supports the academic and social development of children at the school.

Abstract

Media memiliki dampak positif dan negatif terhadap kehidupan masyarakat. Banyak anak muda Indonesia yang masih kurang memiliki akhlak baik yang diakibatkan dari sistem pendidikan yang tidak terorganisir dengan baik, terutama di masa milenial. Film memiliki dampak yang sangat besar terhadap kehidupan masyarakat karena pesan dan informasi yang disampaikannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti film adaptasi Indonesia Miracle in Cell No. 7 guna mengetahui pelajaran pendidikan moral dan interpretasi nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak apa saja yang ada di film tersebut agar bisa diterapkan oleh siswa dan orang tua siswa. Sampel penelitian ini berasal dari berbagai sumber, termasuk buku, film, artikel, majalah, narasi sejarah, dan penelitian terdahulu; jenis pengumpulan data yaitu penelitian kepustakaan kualitatif. Penulis mengembangkan kesimpulan tentang penggambaran film tentang prinsip-prinsip pendidikan akhlak setelah mempelajari dan mendiskusikan film Miracle in Cell No. 7. Hasilnya, ajaran akhlak yang disampaikan dalam film ini antara lain berdoa, rendah hati dan bersyukur, saling menolong, setia kawan, jujur, adil, menunjukkan kasih sayang, dan menjalankan agama. Film Miracle in Cell No. 7 yang terdiri dari sepuluh scene ini memberikan pelajaran akhlak melalui pesan-pesannya. Film Miracle in Cell No. 7 mengandung indikasi yang menunjukkan pelajaran akhlak yang ingin disampaikan kepada penonton. Siswa dan orang tua mereka harus berusaha untuk mengikuti ajaran akhlak yang disajikan.

Abstract

The study was prompted by concerns about the poor learning outcomes of Class IV students at SD Negeri 11 Marunggi in Pariaman City. The main problems identified were the educators' inadequate planning of Pancasila education learning, students' lack of engagement, limited reading skills, and insufficient learning resources. The research focused on educators and students in Class IV of elementary school. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining both qualitative and quantitative methods with a classroom action research design. The study was conducted over two cycles. The results revealed that: Firstly, there was a significant improvement in open module assessment, with an average score of 85.4% in cycle I and 95.8% in cycle II. Secondly, the implementation of learning by educators increased from an average score of 83.85% in cycle I to 92.8% in cycle II, while student engagement also improved from an average score of 82.1% in cycle I to 92.8% in cycle II. Thirdly, student learning outcomes showed a remarkable improvement, with an average score of 79.4% in cycle I and 92.6% in cycle II.
