Abstract

Water has a very big role, one of which is for biological needs, namely survival. The main problem faced with regard to water resources is water quality. Determination of water quality by microbiology is done by using the Most Probable Number (MPN) Test. This study used 3 samples, namely well water, bottled water, and river water. Well water contains the same amount of Coliform and Escherichia coli, namely 14 MPN / 100 mL. In the presumptive test, bottled water showed positive results, but when tested for the determination it was obtained negative results. Meanwhile, river water contains more than 1100 MPN / 100 mL of coliform bacteria and 11 MPN / 100 mL of Escherichia coli. Bottled drinking water samples are suitable for consumption, while well and river water samples are not suitable for consumption because they contain Coliform and Escherichia coli.

Abstract

Sukorambi Botanical Garden is a natural tourist spot for flora and fauna with a land area of ​​about 12 hectares. In this location, there are about 500 types of plants ranging from lower-grade plants to higher-grade plants. The existence of seed plants (Spermatophyta) of habitus tree in the Botanical Garden has been identified, but there are some plants whose species are not yet known. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The method used in this research is a survey method. The research data were analyzed descriptively and identified to the genus level. The results showed that there were 66 genera of seed plants (Spermatophyta) belonging to 30 families. These families are Achariaceae, Anarcadiacea, Annonaceae, Apocynaceae, Araucariaceae, Arecaceae, Bignoniaceae, Burseraceae, Clusiaceae, Ebenaceae, Fabaceae, Gnetaceae, Lamiaceae, Lauraceae, Lythraceae, Malvaceae, Meliaceae, Mimosaceae, Moraceae, Moringaceae, Myristicaceae, Oxalidaceae, Rutaceae, Sapindaceae, Sapotaceae, and Thymelaeaceae. The results of identification can be used as a learning resource to support the Plant Taxonomy course.

Abstract

Usada Tenung Tanyalara is a form of Balinese local wisdom which contains traditional Balinese medicine. Usada Tenung Tanyalara is still limited to the name of the disease, the ingredients used to treat disease processing methods, as well as empirically proven uses. It is important to carry out further studies related to the existing treatment at Usada Tenung Tanyalara. Cough or in Balinese called Cekehan is a reflex response of the body's defense to remove foreign objects from the respiratory tract that protects the lungs from foreign objects from the gastrointestinal tract and upper respiratory tract. Coughing can be caused by infection and not infection. Cough treatment in Usada Tenung Tanyalara is with raw chicken egg whites, green skin coconut milk and temu tin (temu putih) rhizome. The albumin content in chicken egg whites can reduce cough complaints and increase the immune system through the mechanism of increasing the circulatory system to help metabolize nutrients, and accelerate tissue recovery. The rhizome of temu putih (temu tin) has anti-inflammatory activity, thereby reducing cough symptoms accompanied by mucosal secretions. Coconut milk has antibacterial properties so it can suppress the pathogenic bacteria that cause coughs. Based on the properties of cough medicine ingredients in Balinese local wisdom, namely Usada Tenung Tanyalara, it is proven to have a pharmacological effect to cure coughs. Abstract

Application of the Reading Concept Connection Discussion Evaluation (RCCDE) learning model to improve student learning outcomes on global warming material for the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The type of research used was classroom action assessment and the research subjects were grade VII students with 27 students consisting of 20 female students and 7 male students. Not all grade VII students have completed the KKM but 50% have completed the KKM. The results obtained showed that the student's average score reached 79.9% with a total classical completeness of 85.2%. So it can be concluded that the application of the RCCDE learning model can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Audio Visual Media, Learning Outcomes, RCCDE Model

Abstract

Research on student learning outcomes of class VII MTs. Miftahul Ulum Karang Bayat Sumber Baru for the 2019/2020 school year with 42 respondents from 125 students who were taken by stratified random sampling. The method used in this study is a test method with a Quasi Experimental Design.Students who are used as subjects in the research sample, have the same ability, because b Reading Concept Map Connection Discussion Evaluation oth classes get the same science material. The experimental class uses the Reading Concept Map Connection Discussion Evaluation (RCCDE) learning model and the control class uses the conventional method. It is known from the results of data analysis calculations that the use of the Reading Concept Map Connection Discussion Evaluation (RCCDE) learning model can affect learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the results of the ANOVA test scores which obtain Sig 0.000 < 0.05 (0.050). From the analysis of the data above, it is continued with the paired samples test. the results of the calculation of this analysis obtained a value of Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference in student learning outcomes between the pre-test of the experimental class and the post-test of the experimental class. Abstract

Learning Media always consists of two important elements, namely elements of equipment for hardware and elements of the message it carries(message/software). Based on interview, obtained the application of learning media photonovela. This research categorized in classroom action research. Data analysis is quantitative, while the data collection method was obtained from the test (LKS) which applied the photonovela learning media and the cycle test. This study aims to apply the photonovela learning media with environmental pollution learning materials. With 21 research subjects. The data obtained from the results of the number of tests in the first cycle was 1622 and decreased to 1372 in the second cycle. The data obtained from the results of classical completeness in the first cycle 71% and decreased to 29% in the second cycle. The data obtained from the average value of one class in the first cycle was 77 and decreased to 65 in the second cycle. This proves that the application of the photonovela learning media still requires correction in terms of application. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa yang menggunakan model PBI dalam setting kooperatif tipe STAD dengan model PBI dan Model Konvensional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasy eksperimen dengan pre-test dan post-test group design. Sampel penelitian 3 kelas dari 4 kelas yang ada diambil secara acak. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berbentuk soal tes. Data dianalisis dengan ANAVA satu Jalur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Terdapat perbedaan secara sinifikan antara kelas dengan pembelajaran Model PBI dalam setting tipe STAD, Model PBI, dan Model Konvensional. Model PBI dalam setting kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa pada pembelajaran model PBI dalam setting kooperatif tipe STAD perolehan skor sebesar 3,52 dan terendah 2,48 dikategorikan tinggi. Abstract

Mikroorganisme patogen seperti bakteri yang bersifat pathogen dapat menyebabkan infeksi pada manusia. Upaya pengendalian aktivitas mikroorganisme seperti bakteri umumnya dilakukan dengan menggunakan senyawa antimikroba/antibiotik dan antiseptik yang berasal dari bahan-bahan kimia sintetik. Antibiotik merupakan senyawa kimia yang diproduksi oleh suatu organisme dalam jumlah yang sedikit dan dapat menghambat proses biokimia suatu organisme. Kandungan senyawa aktif dalam tanaman dapat berpotensi sebagai antimikroba atau antibakteri alami Pemanfaatan bahan alam tanaman herbal sebagai antibiotik alami dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif. Daya hambat suatu antibiotik terhadap bakteri dalam kondisi yang sesuai dapat diketahui dengan metode assei mikrobiologi. Metode yang biasanya digunakan dalam metode assei mikrobiologi yaitu metode kertas saring (Kirby and Bauer) dan metode d`Aubert. Abstract

Conservation of water resources is very important in the Afdeling area because the water is needed to provide water supply for the plant. The behavior of ethnic Madurese migrants in Kalibaru Afdeling becomes interesting to investigate because it differs from the Banyuwangi indigenous ethnic, Osing. The purpose of this research was to know the habits of the Madurese tribe in the conservation of water resources in the plantation area. This study used a qualitative method with a branched contractile approach, with some informants from three elements such as, residents, community leaders, and village coordinators. The result of this research shows that Sumber Pereng’s inhabitants have some ways to maintain water resource by keeping bamboo and cleaning the area every Rabu Wekasan, while Sumber Limak and Sumber Gueh's inhabitants always change the plants around the water resource, but they do nothing to maintain and conserve it. Water resource conservation is better in Sumber Pereng rather than in Sumber Limak and Sumber Gueh.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) is a commodity that can be used as food grocery. Generally, farmers cultivate the sweet corn using pesticide fertilizers as the main fertilizer without organic fertilizers as the balancing composition. However, if this process has been done in long time, it will cause an environmental pollution. Organic fertilizer is a relevant solution to substitute inorganic fertilizers, for instance bokashi. This research was aimed to determine the effectiveness of using fermented chicken feces bokashi for the growth of sweet corn. This experimental research uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 factorial patterns. The results from one way ANOVA on sweet corn were obtained: 1) the calculated F value was 24,980 with the significance value is 0.000 for plant height; 2) the calculated F value is 18.646, the significance value is 0.000 for number of leaves; 3) the calculated F value is 43,842 and the significance value is 0.000 on the stem diameter. Thus, it can be concluded that the treatment with bokashi indicated a significant effect on the growth of sweet corn. The results of Duncan's test showed that the treatment with bokashi had a significant difference for the growth of sweet corn. It was caused by the addition of organic composition from bokashi that can increase the content of organic composition and nutrients in the soil. In addition, bokashi has advantages that the other two treatments do not have, against caterpillars and rats. The content of bokashi can protect sweet corn in the vegetative to generative phase. At the 56th day, it resulted the presence of rat caterpillar pests on sweet corn fruit given by NPK fertilizer treatment and negative control (without treatment).
