Abstract

Goals of this research are to increase the efficiency of the microstrip antenna. Increased efficiency includes reduced dimensions but has good performance (return loss, bandwidth, VSWR, and Gain). This research used the CSRR metamaterial technique in a ground structure with 4 × 4 cell orientation with a working frequency of 3.5 GHz. The research was carried out in the Laboratory of the engineering faculty of Telecomunations Engineering of rthe State University of Jakarta in May- August 2020.Testing the antenna with the CSRR metamaterial wich waas done in two stages: simulation and fabrication. The two antennas are compared in an attempt to measure the effectiveness of the antenna. The simulation uses CST Microwave Studio 2014 software and the antenna has been fabricated and measured using the Anritsu S223E Network Analyzer. The 3.5Ghz microstrip antenna with CSRR with FR-4 substrate was successfully tested and has performance according to predetermined standards. Microstrip antenna with metamaterial on this ground showed an increase in efficiency. This antenna is much more efficient than the metamaterial antenna with the CSRR structure on the patch. This antenna with dimensions of 34 × 33.5 mm succeeded in reducing the antenna by 36% and experiencing an increase in return loss by 38%, bandwidth by 44%, and VSWR by 23%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze fiber optic networks for SCADA communication networks. The method used takes into account variables such as signal quality, fiber optic attenuation, and interference data on fiber optic networks in SCADA communication systems. The device required in this study is an OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflector). From the results of this study's analysis, the initial activation measurements still require repairs to the fiber optic cable at several points to meet the standards applied at PT. Indonesia Comnets Plus. On the DUrikosambi-Kembangan link, the measurement results after repairs using an OTDR have an average attenuation of 2.399 dB and an average attenuation value from the link power budget calculation of 4.673 dB. From the results of attenuation measurements using an OTDR on both links, there are differences in attenuation values ​​in each core, indicating a decrease in the quality of the link.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sistem penyulingan air laut menjadi air tawar melalui proses distilasi sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan sistem penyulingan air laut menjadi air tawar dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan sistem dapat berjalan sesuai dengan rancangan sistem, perangkat keras, dan perangkat lunak. Hasil pengukuran terhadap nilai pH dan TDS di dalam air sudah sesuai dengan acuan standar yang dibutuhkan, hasil pengukuran tersebut meliputi pengukuran TDS dengan rata-rata hasil pengukuran sebesar 32,53 ppm, dan hasil pengukuran pH dengan rata-rata hasil pengukuran sebesar 7,79. Air laut juga sudah melewati proses pemanasan hingga mencapai suhu lebih dari 100°C sehingga air tawar hasil distilasi memenuhi standar untuk bisa dikonsumsi. Setelah melalui beberapa percobaan, juga dapat diketahui bahwa efisiensi distilasi berada pada nilai 98,81%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem penyulingan air laut menjadi air tawar ini dapat berjalan dengan baik dan air tawar yang diperoleh melalui proses distilasi dapat digunakan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan akan air sehari-hari

Abstract

This case study aims to design a stock counting device for merchandise that has a barcode and a digital code printed on the product packaging, which will later be scanned using the GM65 barcode sensor. The method used in this research is engineering, described through problem identification, tool and system design, from software to hardware. The system was tested through data analysis to obtain research results. Based on the results, it shows that the inventory counting system runs according to the initial design to determine the remaining items sold in the available stock in a supermarket. The resulting barcode is entered into a web server media with an internet network, so it is stored in a database. This is able to minimize confusion that occurs during stocktaking, and the data can be stored neatly and is not easily lost.

Abstract

This study contains battery capacity analysis and converters (Rectifier) as a backup record on Telecommunication Devices aims to analyze the capacity of batteries and rectifiers. Basically, telecommunication devices have DC (direct current) voltage intake. Because the provision of electricity by the State Electricity Company (PLN) has an alternating current (AC) source, there must be a converter that can convert the alternating current source into a direct current (DC) source. In addition, to maintain the continuity of the availability of this direct current (DC) source, there must be a backup DC direct current enumeration, namely the battery in the system without interruption (no-break) if there is a disturbance in the main power from PLN. Because of the importance of the Rectifier and battery as a backup power is one of the devices used to support the No Break charge system Then an analysis of the capacity of the Battery and Rectifier was carried out.In conclusion, the load flowing from all converters connected parallel to the network element amounted to 2312 A. while the battery capacity was 10,000 Ah. Battery capability can provide backup charge for ± 4 hours. To avoid a load surge caused by charging boost on the battery, the converter capacity must be adjusted to the installed battery capacity at least the current capacity must be sufficient for charging the battery according to its type. So the number of converter modules that must be available in the event of a peak load of 3312 A is 28 converter modules, while the installed converter is 34 modules, this means that there are 6 converter modules operating in a stand-by state. This is so that if there is a problem in one of the modules, the DC electrical system does not experience interference.

Abstract

This study aims to design an IoT-based monitoring system for temperature, humidity, and water level in hydroponic plants using Raspberry Pi, as an effort to facilitate monitoring of environmental conditions required in hydroponic plant cultivation. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D), which focuses on system design and testing. The main advantage of this system is its ability to access data in real time remotely, facilitating monitoring without having to be on site. The results of the study show that the developed monitoring system successfully sends temperature, humidity, and water level data to users with good accuracy. Therefore, it can be concluded that this IoT-based monitoring system is effective and reliable for monitoring important parameters in hydroponic plants accurately and in real time.

Abstract

Learning activities that are in appropriate with the curriculum require several component, one of them is teaching materials. Teacher have an importan role to selection of teaching materials that will be used to achieve learning purpose. In this research an electronic student worksheet was developed using Search Solve Create Share (SSCS) model learning assist by FlipHTML5 in microprocessor lesson for class XI Audio Video Engineering at SMKN 5 Jakarta. This research uses Reseach and Development method with the 4D model consisting of for steps, namely Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate, nonetheless this research is limited to development stage. The result of this research is (1) Electronic student worksheet uses SSCS model learning developed based on the R&D method with the 4D model; (2) The student worksheet feasibility test by material experts, linguists expert, instructional design expert, media experts with the results of the assesment was classified as highly feasibility; (3) Testing the student worksheet to student through one-to- one trials and small groups trials with the result of the assesment was classified as highly feasibility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses perancangan media pembelajaran berbasis android dengan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Perencangan dimulai dengan ditemukannya masalah rendahnya prestasi belajar peserta didik pada kelas X elektronika 2 SMK N 39 Jakarta. Kemudian dikembangkan sesuai dengan tahapan Borg dan Gall yakni 1) penelitin dan pengumpulan informasi, 2) perencanaan 3) perancangan dan pengembangan produk 4) uji coba lapangan awal 5) revisi uji lapangan awal 6) Uji lapangan utama 7) Revisi uji lapangan utama 8) uji lapangan skala besar 9) Revisi uji lapangan skala besar 10) imprementasi dan penyebarluasan. Pada perancangan penulisan makalah komprehenshif ini dibatasi hanya sampai pada tahap perancangan dan pengembangan produk.

Abstract

The purpose of this researcher is to design a remotely-based body temperature gauge system (IOT) at home to improve the security of the spread of Covid-19. The remote body temperature system based on the Internet of Things (IOT) is late finished and has been tested. Tools are compared with digital thermogun namely Infrared Thermometer SK-T008 with an average error rate in percent (error percentage) of 0.438%. LCD 16x2 displays the results of the body temperature value in the Celsius unit and if the body temperature value is more than 37.5 degrees Celsius Then the Buzzer and red LED will be active. If the body temperature is below 35 degrees Celsius, the blue LED will be active.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan pengukuran simulasi software NYUSIM untuk mendapatkan pemodelan kanal komunikasi jaringan 5G yang sesuai dengan daerah Kota Tangerang. Untuk mendapatkan pemodelan kanal komunikasi jaringan 5G yang sesuai dengan daerah Kota Tangerang dimulai dengan pengumpulan data parameter lingkungan seperti suhu, tekanan udara, curah hujan dan kelembapan. Pemodelan kanal berupa instan PDP pada frekuensi mmWave 26 GHz kondisi NLOS. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi NYUSIM yang telah dilakukan, menghasilkan Lima output yaitu: spektrum daya AOA tiga dimensi 3- D, spektrum daya AOD 3-D, Omnidirectional PDP, PDP directional dengan daya terkuat, dan Small scale PDP yang sesuai dengan pengukuran dan pemodelan kanal 5G. Dimana output dari hasil simulasi mempresentasikan model kanal berupa instan PDP sesuai kebutuhan desain sistem komunikasi antena omnidirectional atau directional pada pemancar dan penerima di Kota Tangerang.
