Abstract

The qualification of the teaching material coordination developed using Moodle media and the effectiveness of the materials developed to improve student learning outcomes. This research is developmental research. The development model used in this research is the ADDIE model. The data in this study are data on the validity of teaching materials that have been validated by material experts, media experts, and learning designers. The data collected are further analyzed descriptively to find out the effectiveness of the educational materials developed and to know the efficacy of the teaching materials tested. The results of the research show that Moodle-based coordination materials are worthy of being used to improve the learning outcomes of alignment subjects among students in the X class of OTKP Vocational Education at Swasta Bina Satria Medan. On the results of the post-test, there was an increase in the student's learning outcome by 0.033 (0.3 < g ≤ 0.7) with a moderate criterion. Furthermore, Moodle-based coordination teaching materials are effective in improving the learning outcomes of student coordination subjects. Based on the t test, the magnitude of the thitung value is 2,187, while the ttable value is 0,396. This means that the value of thitung > ttable (2,187 > 0,396), so the teaching material is declared effective.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility of learning media by lining up physical education videos with pencak silat material and to determine the effectiveness of learning media by lining up physical education videos with pencak silat material on student learning outcomes. The stages of this research are the needs analysis stage, the learning media planning stage lined up with pencak silat material videos (design), the development stage (develop), and the testing stage (validation). The results of this study show that (1) the learning outcomes of the minimum pretest score for the control group were 41 and the highest score was 70, while the average score was 54.92%. (2) The learning outcomes of the minimum posttest score for the control group were 41, and the highest score was 80, while the average score was 62.58%. (3) The distribution of pretest learning results with a score of 41–48 is in the strongly disagree category; there is 1 student with a percentage (8.3%) the same as the posttest. (4) The distribution of pretest learning results with a score of 49–56 was in the disagree category; there was 1 student with the same percentage (8.3%) as the posttest. (5) The distribution of pretest learning outcomes with a score of 57–64 was in the neutral category; there were 5 students with a percentage (41.7%) and posttest 4 students with a percentage (33.3%). (6) The distribution of pretest learning results with a score of 65–72 is in the neutral category; there are 3 students with a percentage (25.0%) the same as the posttest. (7) The distribution of pretest learning results with a score of 73–80 is neutral; there were 2 students with a percentage of 16.7% and 3 students with a percentage of 25.0%). The results of hypothesis testing using the independent sample T-test by looking at the probability sig. (2-tailed) show a coefficient of 0.103. greater than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference.

Abstract

An evaluation instrument or evaluation tool is a tool that meets academic requirements. The evaluation instrument still uses paper evaluation tools and does not use online learning evaluation. The aim of this research is to develop a wordwall-assisted HOTS-based English language learning evaluation tool. This type of research applies the Research and Development (R&D) research method. The subjects in this research were class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Dolok Merawan who used the HOTS-based learning evaluation tool with the help of Wordwall, for a total of 32 students. The object of research is English-language reading material in the form of wordwall assistance. This research has been validated through stages by material experts, media experts, instructional design experts, language experts, and evaluation experts. This research has trial stages, namely initial field trials, main field trials, and operational field trials. This research also tested the effectiveness of the wordwall-assisted HOTS-based English learning evaluation tool. The research results show that students who use the HOTS-based English language learning evaluation tool assisted by Wordwall are "more effective" than those who use conventional learning methods. This is shown by the calculation results obtained: tcount = 2.28 and ttable = 2.00, where 2.28 > 2.00 for a significance level of 0.05. The effectiveness value of the wordwall-assisted HOTS-based English language learning evaluation tool is higher, namely 80.28%, than student learning outcomes using conventional methods with a value of 75.25%.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the effectiveness of the Scientific Literacy-Based Teaching Materials Training Management Model based on material experts, learning design experts, and teacher responses. (2) determine the effectiveness of the scientific literacy-based teaching materials training management model. This research was conducted at SMP N 11 Medan in June–October 2023, using descriptive data analysis techniques. The development of the training model was carried out using the Thiagarajan Four-D (4-D) development model, which consists of four stages, namely definition, design, development, and dissemination. The resulting product is a training model that will be used by teachers at SMP N 11 Medan. The feasibility of the model was assessed by validation experts. The results of the material expert assessment show that it is in the very good category, with an average percentage of 90.05% (very good), design experts at 90.50% (very good), and teacher respondents at 91.6% (very good). Test the effectiveness of the model with the results of the known value tcount = 3.263 while ttable = 2.042, which means that there is an influence of using a model based on scientific literacy in the ecosystem in increasing students' grades in class, so it can be concluded that the research product for the development of scientific literacy-based teaching material training management is a training model that is suitable for use as a training model for teachers.
