Abstract

Introduction: Bullying tends to be done repeatedly to victims and can have a negative impact on victims, including discomfort, excessive depression, depression, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, and other negative impacts. The importance of knowledge on the negative impact of bullying needs to be given to students to minimize bullying, especially in the school environment. Method: he Community Service activities (PkM) were carried out through five stages, namely: pretest, education, role playing, mentoring, and evaluation. The participants of the activity were class XII students in one public school in Kediri Regency. The selection of activity targets is based on considerations, including: (1) class XII is the highest class which will be used as a role model for the class below, (2) class XII will be assigned to be a peer tutor in transferring knowledge related to bullying actions, (3) class XII can help the school to conduct cadre in the class below, and (4) class XII can be a senior who is able to nurture, protect, and set a good example for the younger class. Results: In the data analysis using the Wilcoxon test, it was found that the sig value was smaller than 0.05, so it can be interpreted that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, where the posttest score is greater than the pretest score. Conclusion: Based on the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that stop bullying education can increase students' awareness of the dangers and impacts of bullying.

Abstract

Introduction: After the production of "Hidayah" ginger drinks, there has been a significant accumulation of ginger waste around AL Hidayah High School. This waste has led to unpleasant odors, attracting flies and creating an unsightly environment. This community service program aims to repurpose ginger waste into something beneficial, such as liquid organic fertilizer. Methods: The community service project employed an educational approach followed by practical sessions in producing organic liquid fertilizer through a biorefinery system. All students at AL Hidayah High School in Dlanggu Mojokerto were involved in this activity, which took place on May 25, 2023. Results: The outcome of this initiative was the production of organic liquid fertilizer using biorefinery methods. Conclusion: The liquid organic fertilizer derived from ginger waste through biorefinery methods has the potential to mitigate several associated issues. It proves to be advantageous for the local community, serving as a plant nutrient and potentially contributing to the school's economic growth if produced in sufficient quantities for market distribution. Furthermore, this endeavor nurtured creativity and entrepreneurial skills among the students.

Abstract

Introduction: Early detection of growth and development is very important to be carried out to detect early deviations in growth and development in children. Independent monitoring of children's growth and development can be carried out by teaching staff at schools through various trainings in monitoring children's growth and development. This activity aims to provide training and assistance to students and teaching staff regarding the early detection and treatment of growth and development disorders so that if deviations are found, early intervention can be carried out so that growth and development return to normal or the deviations do not get worse. Methods: The methods used are counseling, training, demonstrations, and discussions carried out face-to-face. This activity was carried out at ABA 05 Kindergarten, Malang City by involving teachers (n=5) and students (n=52) in implementing the activity Results: The results obtained during the health examination were that 40% of students experienced dental caries and 2 students experienced growth and development disorders (speech delay). After being given training and assistance as well as practicing Early Detection of Child Growth and Development, participants were able to carry out early detection of child growth and development independently. Conclusion: This activity can be used as a good step to detect a child's growth and development so that appropriate intervention for growth and development disorders can be carried out as early as possible through collaboration between the school and parents.
