Abstract

Competition in financial companies makes each company increasingly improve its performance so that its goals can still be achieved. The main goal of a company is to get profits, to achieve these goals, management is required to make good planning. Likewise, management in a financial company has a goal, where the Debt Policy and Company Value will affect the company's management in achieving profits. This study aims to analyze as much as possible the effectiveness of profitability, dividend payout ratio, asset structure, Free Cash Flow, company size and sales growth and have an influence on the Debt Policy and Company Value. In this study, researchers used the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method, the Panel Regression method and the Simultaneous / 2SLS method (Two Stage Least Square). Which aims to analyze the influence of independent variables on the dependent variables both separately and jointly and also see the influence of variables in the short and medium term.

Abstract

Today, the development of information technology allows all needs in the payment system to conduct safely and reliably with the support of blockchain technology. Blockchain technology is currently a concept getting more attention in financial technology (Fintech). This technology combines several computer technologies, including distributed data storage, point-to-point transmission, consensus mechanisms, and encryption algorithms often referred to as cryptography. Currently, various payment methods are available, Direct payment methods via the website, credit cards, automatic debit (Autopay), Mobile / Internet Banking, Non-bank, E-commerce, and E-wallet. All of the above payment systems still require a third party as a guarantor for the transactions made. Another problem that arises is a notification of bill dues to consumers, using conventional media in letters, emails, and notices of short message service (SMS), which allows consumers to miss the given deadline. It could cause the service to terminate. Blockchain technology is currently still considered an innovation that disrupts the world of banking and the internet. However, because this technology is a breakthrough major in data storage and information transmission, it will fundamentally change the global financial and economic operating model towards new technologies and industrial transformation in the financial industry. Current consumer bill payment methods use conventional banking systems, and notification systems for payment deadlines are less efficient; we propose a payment system with blockchain technology and the internet of things (IoT) to solve the current problem.

Abstract

The development of the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) is overgrowing toward driving comfort, safety, and efficiency. Autopilot or a car without a driver is one implementation of IoT. To run the full function of IoV, a reliable communication network is needed because the risk will be substantial due to the low quality of network infrastructure services. In this research, we will analyze the quality of network infrastructure services. The analysis can be done through two approaches: direct measurement in the field using a GPS Tracker-based system and modeling using the mathematical function of transmit power of mobile communication transmitting devices. The test is carried out in a specific area with a sample of high traffic and low-density areas. This method was chosen to find the right pattern in measuring the quality of communication network services. The tests carried out produce dynamic data on service quality in certain areas. For areas of low density, the service quality tends to be below as well, and many areas without signal are found, while for areas with high density, the quality of service is found to be good, but network overload conditions often occur.

Abstract

Hiking has a dangerous risk of accidents and deaths of hikers. It is caused by health problems, lost, and other accidents. A LoRa-based smart armband was designed to detect hypothermia, hypoxia, and emergencies in hikers based on the above explanation. Furthermore, all activities can be monitored using a web accessed through smartphones or computers. If hypothermia and hypoxia are detected, the smart armband will remind the hiker. The IMU sensor will detect movement orientation and acceleration of the hiker during emergencies to be sent to the hiking post for evacuation. All activity data are stored in a micro-SD for evaluation. From the test results, the armband functioned at temperatures ?35ºC, air pressure ? 560,2 mmHg, and acceleration ?200 cm/s2. The test results also proved that the armband lasted up to 35 hours

Abstract

The specific purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect the return for the results of Islamic Bank deposits. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The data used in the form of secondary data in the form of time series originating from the website of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) with the link www.ojk.go.id regarding the amount of return for mudharabah deposit results, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Financing, Financing to Deposit Ratio and Inflation originating from the website of Bank Indonesia (BI) with the link www.bi.go.id. The population is monthly data from January 2016 to December 2019 period while the sample is annual data from 2016 to 2019. The research analysis conducted is multiple linear regression, classical assumption test (normality test, heteroscedasticity multicollinearity test and autocorrelation test), and test statistics (coefficient of determination (R2), statistical F test, and statistical t test). The results of this study are the variables of Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non-Performing Financing, Financing to Deposit Ratio and Inflation have a significant effect simultaneously (simultaneously) on the variable of Profit Sharing for Mudharabah Deposits for Islamic Commercial Banks.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the indirect effect of organizational culture on organizational commitment through the involvement of nurses in the Maternity Hospital, and whether the effect is greater than the direct effect. This study uses a quantitative approach with explanatory and primary data. Collecting data using a questionnaire with a research sample of 67 nurses. This study uses PLS-SEM with Smart-PLS software in analyzing and processing data. The results showed that organizational culture had a direct effect on organizational commitment, organizational culture had an effect on nurse involvement in hospitals, and nurse involvement had an effect on organizational commitment. However, it was found that organizational culture was not proven to have an effect on commitment through the nurse involvement variable, based on indirect testing. Therefore, the nurse’s involvement variable has not shown its contribution in improving organizational culture and commitment while working at the hospital.
