Abstract

This Research was conducted with the aim to analyze the effect of length of working and job satisfaction on the performance of employees in the Adolina Plantation of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV, located in the sub-district of Pantai Cermin and Perbaungan, regency of Serdang Bedagai. The used method in this research is quantitative data analysis. The sample used in this study amounted to 63 respondents. Data were collected through the use of questionnaires and observations. The analysis techniques applied include multiple linear regression, t-tests, and F-tests. Results of the study showed that the length of work does not have a significant influence on employee performance in the Adolina Garden of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV. However, job satisfactions positively and significantly affect employee performance in the company. In addition, there is a simultaneous significant influence between length of work and job satisfaction on employee performance.

Abstract

Forests play an important role in terms of poverty alleviation, increasing welfare and providing additional income. Forests in Indonesia can be cultivated for farmers on the basis of social forestry programs. The Special Region of Yogyakarta has a forest area of ​​around 19,030ha with the proportion of 15,711.70ha being production forest and 4,318.80ha being protected forest. Community income derived from forests is very fluctuating so that a suitable program is needed to be implemented. This study aims to analyze the increase incomeof forest farmers participating in the Eucalyptus forestry program. The number of respondents collected was 74 forest farmers and interviews and observations were carried out to obtain detailed results. The next test is the t test, which compares the average income between eucalyptus forest farmers and non-eucalyptus forest farmers. The average beetween in the income of forest farmers with and without eucalyptus is 24%. The results of the t test show that the value of Sig. shows the number 0.000 or <0.005 so that it can be said that the difference in income between forest farmers with eucalyptus and forest farmers without eucalyptus is significant.

Abstract

Horticulture is one of the potential agricultural sub-sectors. Max Yasa Cooperative is a primary cooperative that produces local chickpeas and Kenyans that export chickpeas to Singapore by establishing a farmer corporation system. This study aims to determine the application of corporate farming carried out by the Max Yasa Cooperative and to determine the strategy for developing a bean cultivation business using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) at the Max Yasa Purbalingga cooperative. The data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques are carried out descriptively using the Business Model Canvas. The results showed that the application of corporate farming carried out by the Max Yasa Cooperative in terms of economy, society, and environment. Business Model Canvas as a model for developing cultivation business in max yasa purbalingga cooperative are (1) key partnership, namely export companies, and traders collecting local markets (2) key activities, namely providing agricultural production facilities, bean cultivation, post-harvest chickpea activities, and marketing of chickpeas (3) Key resources, namely partner farmer land, buildings for post-harvest activities, pickup cars as a means of transportation. (4) Customer segments, namely traders, collectors, and companies (5) Value proposition, namely the number of chickpea quotations (6) Channels consist of direct cooperation and contractual cooperation (7) Customer relationship, namely maintaining communication and maintaining product quality (8) revenue stream, namely sales of local chickpea products and Kenyan chickpeas (9) cost structure consists of production costs and labor wage costs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the variable area of coffee plantations, coffee production and the rupiah exchange rate on the growth of Indonesian coffee export to the United States from 2000-2021. This research uses a quantitative approach. By using purposive sampling technique. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that three of independent variables have a simultaneous effect with dependent variables. The significant negative partial effect of the land area (LA), non significant negative partial effect of the exchange rate (ER) and partial positive significant of the coffee production (CP). Abstract

Local fruit is fruit grown by local farmers throughout Indonesia. There are 3 local fruits, namely bananas, Siamese oranges and mangoes at Raya Medan Market, Metro Trade Center (MMTC) which is a traditional market and is managed by a private company, namely PT. Deli Metropolitan on 7 hectares of land. This study aims to analyze: 1) The process of consumer decision making in purchasing local fruit at  MMTC’s  Raya Market. 2) Factors that influence the decision to buy local fruit at  MMTC’s  Raya Market. This research was conducted in April 2022. The number of samples was 60 consumers of local fruit. The method used to determine the sample isNon Probability. Data analysis used Multiple Linear Regression by conducting two tests, namely the research instrument test and the hypothesis test. The results of the study show that: 1) The decision making process in buying local fruit goes through several stages, namely need recognition, information search, selection of alternatives, purchasing decisions and post-purchase behavior 2) The test results show that price, product and location affects the purchase decision.

Abstract

This research's context is that a key component of the product marketing concept is to satisfy consumers' requirements and desires while making product choices. A few of the elements that influence consumer purchase decisions include the capacity to develop a brand image among consumers, proper discounts, and service quality. From the analysis of consumer needs and desires, J.CO Donuts & Coffee makes Brand Image, Discounts and Service Quality as part of a marketing strategy to reach consumers. The goal is to ascertain how brand image, discounts, and service quality affect customers' decisions to buy at J.CO Donuts & Coffee Pekanbaru. The research's methodology is quantitative descriptive, and its primary and secondary data sources are J.CO Donuts & Kopi Pekanbaru product sales data from 2016 to 2020, as well as primary data collected through interviews and the distribution of questionnaires, which are then statistically tested using the SPSS program. The analytical methods employed in this study were reliability and validity checks. According to the findings of this study, Brand Image (X1) and Discounts (X2) both had a favorable and significant impact on purchase decisions (Y). Purchase Decision (Y) is positively and significantly impacted by Service Quality (X3).

Abstract

This study aims to see how much added value and analysis of the marketing system for processed cassava products, analyze marketing (product distribution, marketing channels, producer's share) for processed cassava products by the Sungai Suci farmer group in Pasar Pedati Village, Central Bengkulu Regency and how the marketing system for processed cassava in the Sungai Suci farmer group in Pasar Village Central Bengkulu Carrier. The method of data analysis in this research is quantitative and descriptive analysis.          The results of the value added obtained from the processing of cassava opak is IDR 3,953/Kg with an added value ratio of 53%. The added value obtained from processing rengginang sweet potato in one kilogram is IDR 4,703/Kg with a ratio of 59%. The added value obtained from processing mocaf flour in one kilogram is IDR 2,441/Kg with a ratio of 49%.    To find out the marketing system for the three processed cassava products, namely (opaque, rengginang, mocaf flour) calculations were carried out using marketing channel analysis, margins, and producer's share. There are two marketing channels, namely: producers (farmer groups) – end consumers (opaque, rengginang, mocaf flour), farmer group producers) – retailers) – consumers (opaque and rengginang). The value of the marketing margin and profit margin obtained is the same as that of channel I (opaque and rengginang) which are IDR 5,000/Kg and IDR 4,013/Kg. the value of the producer's share of marketing I processed opaque and rengginang is Rp 83.33% and 80.00%.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the characteristics of semi-organic and non-organic rice farming systems in the Pringgasela district, East Lombok Regency; (2) analyze the factors that influence the production of rice cultivation in the Pringgasela district, East Lombok Regency; (3) describe the driving and inhibiting factors of semi-organic and non-organic rice cultivation in Pringgasela district, East Lombok Regency. The research method used in this study is quantitative research. The unit of analysis in this study was the semi-organic and non-organic rice farming system in the Pringgasela district, East Lombok Regency. The number of respondents is determined by quota sampling up to 40 respondents, where the sampling was divided based on a predetermined quota consisting of 20 semi-organic farmer respondents and 20 non-organic farmer respondents. The results showed that the differences in the characteristics of semi-organic and non-organic rice farming systems were from the aspect of the cultivation method; use of fertilizers and pesticides; environmental sustainability; and product quality. Based on the results of the analysis of the factors influencing the production of rice, show that the land area variable (X1), fertilizer (X3), and labor (X5), and the dummy variable (X6) has a significant effect on rice production. The driving factor for rice farming activities with a semi-organic system is production costs which are relatively cheaper and environmentally friendly. However, the constraints are the availability of organic fertilizers is still limited, and the production capacity is still less compared to rice farming with non-organic systems.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the supply chain, the business costs of making "Kopi Kepahiang" ground coffee, the added value of making "Kopi Kepahiang" ground coffee. The analytical method uses quantitative descriptive analysis. Research shows that the supply chain for the coffee making business "Kopi Kepahiang" consists of two patterns, namely the flow of products and the flow of money. Product Flow in Pattern I (Supplier-Kopi Kepahiang Business-Consumers), Pattern II (Supplier-Kopi Kepahiang Business-Resellers-Consumers). The flow of money in Pattern I (Supplier- Kopi Kepahiang Business--Consumers), Pattern II (Supplier-Kopi Kepahiang Business-Resellers-Consumers). The production processes for making coffee powder are: roasting, cooling, grinding and packaging. Cost of production of ground coffee business “Kopi Kepahiang” red pickled beans Rp. 25,198,977/8 months or Rp.14,867/package, while super-powdered coffee costs Rp.22,040,531/8 months or Rp.11,479/package. The net profit of the business of making ground coffee "Kopi Kepahiang" from red picking seeds is Rp. 25,641,332/8 months from super random seeds of Rp. 16,349,160/8 months. Break Even Point (BEP) for the business of making coffee "Kopi Kepahiang" from red pickled beans, namely a production volume of 183 packs with a value of Rp. 54,800, while BEP of super random ground coffee, a production volume of 322 packs with a value of Rp. 64,360. The added value obtained from the ground coffee business "Kopi Kepahiang" as raw material for red picking coffee is Rp.64,444 with an added value ratio of 56.18% and for super-origin ground coffee Rp.32,956 with a value ratio of 44.73%.

Abstract

Beef supply in Indonesia has not been able to reach demand. Currently, the need for livestock is increasing, so it is necessary to develop cattle farming. Aofa farm is a cattle farm that focuses on fattening limousine cattle that sells its products only during Eid al-Adha. Aofa farm plans to its business by increasing the number of cattle pens, increasing the number of limousine cattle, and purchasing concentrate feed. In addition, there was an increase in the price of limousine cattle seeds, an increase in feed prices, and a decrease in sales of limousine cattle. So necessary for it to analyze the feasibility of Aofa Farm's limousine cattle farm based on non-financial aspects financial aspects, and  switching value analysis. The results of the feasibility of the non-financial aspects of the development of Aofa Farm are feasible to run based on descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis which shows the feasibility score on each non-financial aspect of more than 50 percent. The results of the financial aspect analysis obtained an NPV value of Rp 2,674,602,815, Net B/C of 8.39, IRR of 88.15 percent, and Payback Period of 2.26 years which shows that the Aofa Farm development plan is feasible to run based on financial aspects because the value obtained exceeds the eligibility criteria. The results of the switching value analysis show that Aofa Farm is sensitive to a decrease in limousine cattle sales.
