Abstract

Effect Of The Number Of Visitors Attraction At The Occupancy Hotel With Moderating Variables Of Rooms Are Available In Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta as a tourist city saves the potential of tourist visits which strongly supports the growth of the hospitality industry. With the potential of foreign and international tourist markets visiting existing tourist attractions, at least become a potential market niche in the hotel industry in the morning to increase occupancy hotels. Hotel expectations of tourist arrivals increase the optimism of hotel management that room occupancy rates will be met according to the planned budget. However, it needs to be measured how much the influence of foreign tourists and the archipelago on occupancy hotels, so the hotel management is not wrong in its planning. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant direct influence from foreign tourists on room occupancy rates, while domestic tourists have a significant direct influence on room occupancy rates. With moderating variables the number of rooms available, hence there is an increase in indirect influence of foreign and domestic tourists on the occupancy rate of hotel rooms in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.

Abstract

In the working wold, the word “professional” related with some features of meaning which create the meaning of the word totally. To avoid different cognition among people in seeing the case of “professional”, therefore it is important to make the standard measurement as the guideliness. The different perception about what people said about “professional” can appear as a problem in the working world when there is a dissagreement cognition among the staffs. Therefore this research aimed to find the features of meaning which form the meaning of “professional”, which is the features of meaning that can be the main guideliness for a worker in doing job.  The method used are qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative method used for counting and processing the result answer from the participant, who are the staffs of tourism industry,  in the form of number. Qualitative method later will be used to elaborate the result in the form of sentences related to the concept of the word “professional”. Based on the analyzed data, it is found that the features which form the meaning of the word “professional” from the point of view of tourism industry workers in Yogyakarta are ability, discipline, and altruism manner. In this case, altruism manner become the most important feature in finding the level of one’s professionalism.

Abstract

The coastal area of Kulon Progo Regency has a batik industry center that makes this batik unique enough that the Lendah sub-district. Bugel Beach Tourism in Galur Subdistrict is also a good tourist area to be enjoyed by tourists, there is a center of dragon fruit gardens in the bugel beach area to beautify the panoramas in Galur sub-district. Tourism development studies in these two sub-districts need to be carried out so that the development of the coastal tourism area in Kulon Progo area becomes more crowded and popular, so this research has the theme of the Strategy of South Coast Coastal Development as a Tourism Object of Kulonprogo Regency. Data processing technique using the SWOT analysis conducted to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced in the development of tourism in the coastal area of Sub Sub Lendah and Galur. A descriptive analysis was used to derive trends, developments, a comparison, in the management of the area The position of the southern coast (sub Galur and Lendah) as a region which will declare the tourist development program exists at the position among the high market growth due to tourism being one of the more improved and also more sights and position a strong competitive because there has been an object of interest in the vicinity which already stands.Thus the position of the South coast there are in quadrant I have match the tendency to carry out the following strategies managerial training effort for entrepreneur.

Abstract

Prambanan Temple also known as Roro Jonggrang Temple is the biggest Hinduism temple in Indonesia. It was built in the 9th century AD. This tourism destination has become one of the most popular tourism destinations with high number visitor visits whether local or foreign. With its large site coverage, visitor management analyzes are needed as one of the most important factors to maximize the visitor number and to minimize the negative impact that can be occurred. The purpose of this research is to determine some indicators of visitor management that affects the visitor satisfaction valuation. The research method is by using importance performance analysis. The valuation result will become the basis of the Prambanan temple sustainable development plan in the future. So that, the satisfaction and memorable value of the visitor would be improved as well as the number of the visitor, and also it can educate the visitor about the heritage conservation value at the same time.

Abstract

For recent years, museum has played a strategic role in developing the knowledge of general society. This is due to its functions as a place to preserve and communicate cultural sources as well as a facilitator of studies and researches aiming at education mission and attractive alternative of recreation objects for the society. If it is well managed, the Yogyakarta Puro Pakualaman Museum is a potential site for the Entrance Gate and Landmark for the city of Yogyakarta as a special region. This research used the analyses of descriptive qualitative and interpretative. The collected data were obtained through analysis of documents, observations, and interviews. The analysis technique is interpreting the data so the understanding of the data is in accordance with the general objective of the research. The result of the study shows that the development of the Yogyakarta Puro Pakualaman Museum as a part of tourism destination through its function as education media can increase the visit to the museum.

Abstract

Cavinton Hotel Yogyakarta is one of the four star hotels that has location in the center of Yogyakarta, so Cavinton Hotel Yogyakarta become crowded during long holidays such as Eid holidays, school holidays, christmas and new year holidays.When the hotel was crowded there was any problems which caused inconvenience to guests, that make the guest have a complaints when staying at hotel. Data collection methods in the preparation of the research is a method of observation, interviews, documentation study and analysis methods library study of qualitative analysis method of data analysis without the use of statistical analysis. Complaints submitted by guests are directly by conveying direclty to staff hotel and indirectly by writig a comment on the online travel agent review. Complaints submitted by guest are about facilities complaint, staff/ attitudinal complaint, service releated problem and unusual complaint. If the complaint is not immediately handled, the impact that occurs is the guest becomes angry and dissapointed, guest do not return to the hotel for stay, then the hotel became a little interested, this causes hotel revenues is down. Front office efforts to handling guest complaints during the high season periods are adding personnel, re-checking guests room bookings, make sure the room that guests use are ready to use.

Abstract

Pampang Ecotourism Village is one of the Ecotourism villages located in Gunungkidul. This ecotourism village was established in 2017 with 1,440 tourists. Many packages are offered in this ecotourism village, one of which is herbal medicine. In the development of Pampang Ecotourism Village, there are many obstacles faced by management, including the development of herbal medicine. This community service activity aims to assist in strengthening herbal medicinal products as one of Pampang's tourist attractions. The steps that will be taken in overcoming the problems of managers are divided into three fields, namely marketing, tourism, and the handicraft industry. The results of this community service activity have been held counseling about strengthening herbal products, where residents can sell several types of herbal medicine to increase the attraction in Pampang. In addition, providing counseling to residents to cultivate herbal plants in order to add types and quantities of herbal plants. Provide counseling on herbal tour packages in making tourist brochures.

Abstract

A website that has an easy-to-use user interface for visitors to interact (usability) or communicate in sharing information is needed by web visitors. This study aims to provide an assessment of the website developed by Bejiharjo tourism village from the perspective of web visitors, in terms of the interactivity (usability) function of the website interface in general. Besides that it also aims to find out website development strategies to increase website usability by web managers. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method that is supported by SWOT analysis to develop discussions to the discovery of website development strategies. The results of this study are IFAS (internal factor analysis summary) score from the analysis of the website obtaining a score of no more than 2.5. While the EFAS score (external factors analysis strategy) obtained a score of 2.87. This score shows that the opportunities and threats to the development of the Bejiharjo tourism village website are greater than the strengths and weaknesses. Therefore we need a development strategy based on a SWOT analysis that includes adding types of social media accounts that are connected to the website, maintaining continuity with website content updates, increasing the detail of information on the main website content, equipping the website with video content, reservation forms and visitor comment columns.

Abstract

The research was conducted to know development of tourism after Jamu Kiringan rural tourism was formed and strategy of management also to know the obstacles in management process. The research was conducted in Jamu Kiringan rural tourism on December 2018 – January 2019. Data were obtained from interview with 4 informants consist of informants of rural tourism management, informant of village official, informant of society who join to tourist activity and informant of society who not join to tourism activity. The research was also obtained from questionnaires that have been given a Likert Scale rating to 30 respondents. The sampling was done by Purposive Sampling technique. The analysis methods used in this research are data analysis from Miles and Huberman (reduction, display and conclusion drawing/verification), analysis of IFAS EFAS and SWOT matric analysis. The result of this research show calculation value of internal factors x is 0, 0857 and external factors y is 1, 4171. From the calculation of IFAS EFAS table show the x value and y value is positive same, so the position in quadrant 1 in SWOT analysis. It mean the position of Jamu Kiringan rural tourism profitable that have strength and opportunity, so it can cover weakness and threat and also take effect in management strategy in Jamu Kiringan rural tourism. In quadrant 1 produce Strength and Opportunity strategy (SO) consist of make Jamu Kiringan to be the best rural tourism in Bantul Regency with main attraction is Jamu, manage attraction products to be tour package with a varied composition, make a great herbal garden that contains various types of herbal plants, increase export quantity and international cooperation network and increase tourist visits because of the ease of access so that has an impact on the village economy.

The sample used is purposive sampling. The uniqueness of Suryakencana Square is that it has a large and beautiful grass field that can accommodate thousands of climbers, have springs that are rarely encountered in other camps that make it easy for climbers to fulfill their camping activities. The beautiful Edelwess flower expanse and included one of edelwiess species rarely found in other mountains is one of the tourist magnets for climbers to return to the area and Spot suitable for beginners as a medium Warming up to do fantasy climbing. Cash flows due to a transaski of ticket purchase from prospective climbers as cons of performance in the service provided to the management of TNGGP in a particular period it is a revenue that can be allocated to Development and maintenance of the TNGGP region and as one of the contributions to the State and local Treasury for the welfare of the surrounding.
