Abstract

All institutions must have a financial management which a financial management is necessary to carry out internal and external controls. External financial control of an entity is carried out by Public Accountant. This control usually focuses on examining the financial statements that are the entity's financial accountability reports to their owners. In conducting the audit, the Public Accountant needs to understand the entity's business processes in order to find out the truth of the data reported in the financial statements. At current time the agricultural industry is growing rapidly because the government continues to optimize agriculture. Malang is one of the areas with many agricultural and plantation industries. Public Accountant firm “X” who are community service partners are in Malang. The Public Accountant requires training and assistance on PSAK 69 related to agriculture. This needs to be done because Public Aacountant is surrounded by many agiculture industries. The method used in this service is Case Based Reasoning. The results of this training are that there are 12 human resources of KAP "X" who are familiar with PSAK 69 and there are 4 human resources of KAP "X" who are quite familiar with PSAK 69. It is hoped that with this training KAP "X" can add audit clients as well as consultancy in the field of agriculture

Abstract

The government policy to convert the use of kerosene to LPG has created kerosene to become precious and rare good in the market. This condition has caused many difficulties among the micro-small moving merchants that depend on kerosene lamps for lighting their wagons at night. Thus, the solution must be carried out to ensure their business sustainability. This article reports our community services program to supply and install battery-powered LED lamps with battery chargers for moving culinary merchants in Indah Karya village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, to provide them with more efficient and effective lighting technology. Our analysis shows that the application of battery-powered LED lamps has significantly reduced merchants' operational costs and provided more accessibility to power the lamps. We have chosen one moving merchant that sells daily needs as our partner. The LED lamps, the power inverter, and the VRLA battery are installed and wired on our partner's wagon. We have evaluated the impact of this new lighting technology on our partner's business. Based on the evaluation, our partner has experienced a substantial operational cost reduction and easy access to power his wagon's lighting.

Abstract

As a village that received an award from the Climate Village Program (Proklim) and towards ‘proklim lestari’ from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (LHK), Wonocoyo has managed household waste and cow dung waste into liquid and solid organic fertilizer, but these products do not have advantages. Therefore, community empowerment is carried out by improving the quality of the organic fertilizer with biological agents. This community empowerment activity aims to increase the economic added value of the Proklim activities of Wonocoyo Village through the manufacture of organic fertilizers with biological agents and commercialize it. This activity applied the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method by using extension, training, technical guidance and facilitating marketing. The results of the activity show that the use of biological agents can improve the quality as well as the economic added value of organic fertilizer produced by Wonocoyo Village, which has been able to process organic waste into organic fertilizers with a production capacity of 500 kg/month. This activity is aimed at Sustainable Agriculture or the Green Economy, in accordance with the 2nd goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

The duck farming business can develop well by improving the management of duck eggs into smoked salted eggs of various flavors. The service activity aims to educate members of the Sialang Baru Palm Oil Farmers UKM about the use of cadling and processing smoked salted eggs with various flavors. The target community for this activity is around 15 people. The service method has three stages, namely first, making leaflets about candling and making smoked salted eggs. Second, the provision of material through socialization activities, in the form of lectures and discussions. Third, the practice of using egg candling and the practice of processing smoked salted eggs of various flavors. Evaluation by giving questionnaires before and after the lecture to participants. The results of the questionnaire were tabulated and described. The results of the dedication resulted in making salted eggs by smoking better than ordinary salted eggs. The taste of the egg texture is better and the yolk color is more yellow than ordinary salted eggs. Shorter manufacturing time is 7 days and smoking is 12 hours. The use of a smoked oven from a used drum is designed to have 3 shelves for eggs and fuel with wood husks. The people of the Sialang Baru Palm Oil UKM were very enthusiastic with the attendance of more than 70%. The counseling and practice of processing smoked salted eggs have educated the community to further develop their business in the future.

Abstract

This service activity is in partnership with the Palm Oil Farmer Group (Poktan) of Lubuk Dalam- Siak District. These Poktan partners face problems, namely how to empower Poktan Karya Bersama in order to increase productivity through institutional synergy relationships? In answering partner problems, this service activity offers marketing-based inclusion group management solutions and improves processing skills. The purpose of this activity is to utilize cow-palm waste into compost; (2) Increase knowledge in reorganizing inclusion management in the Joint Works Farmer Group. As for the method: First, Socialization of activities and FGD. Second, establishing a working group (Pokja) as a means of building synergistic inclusion; Lectures and discussions. Third, the management of palm oil waste, cows into compost (3) Perform the Simulation stage. Fourth, assistance to palm oil poktan farmers by the service team in collaboration with PPL and village government officials Through this service activity is expected to provide benefits in increasing production and marketing of Poktan Karya Bersama's results in the future. The results of this activity have an impact on increasing the knowledge and proficiency of farmers as well as farmers' income patterns. The enthusiasm of the participants in lectures, exercises and simulations was quite high with indicators of the number of questions asked, the extension of the session time and the desire of the participants for this activity to be carried out again.

Abstract

Stunting is currently a major concern for both central and regional governments, as the health of children is the primary indicator used to make decisions about the quality of public health. One of the factors that continues to contribute to stunting is a lack of parental literacy in early prevention, which has a significant impact on parenting and child development monitoring. Stunting is caused primarily by a lack of optimal nutritional intake during pregnancy and after birth, as well as a lack of access to medical services and clean water and sanitation facilities. This activity took place in Banglas Barat Village, Kepulauan Meranti Regency, because the village was designated as one of the stunting loci in 2022. This village has peatland and an island area, so it has different land contours and food sources than other lands that do not have peat. As a result, special attention is required to prevent stunting. The goal of service activities is to raise public awareness about stunting. This activity included the distribution of brochures on the effects and prevention of stunting, as well as the creation of banners in the center of Banglas Barat Village.

Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a disease that causes very high mortality. Hypertension is a type of non-communicable disease that is chronic and can cause complications in body organs such as the heart, kidneys, brain and eyes. Hypertension is a disease that is strongly influenced by lifestyle such as sleep quality, stress, fat comsumption, and exercise. The purpose of this service is to determine the condition of blood pressure with lifestyle in the community of RW 06 Sidomulyo Timur Pekanbaru. The design of this service is descriptive correlation using a cross sectional approach. The objects in this service are adults in RW 06 Sidomulyo Timur with a sample of 30 people taken using quota sampling technique. The method of collecting data is through interviews and direct hypertension checks. The people of RW 06 Sidomulyo Timur Pekanbaru who experience stress (13.33%), poor sleep quality (3.4%), consume fat (46.67%), and exercise regularly (50%). In this study, the results showed that there was a relationship between lifestyle and blood pressure conditions. The condition of blood pressure in the community of RW 06 Sidomulyo Timur is related to lifestyle, including: stress, sleep quality, fat consumption and exercise.

Abstract

variables on strategies to increase competitive advantage in the Catfish Processed MSME Sector in Patin Village, Koto Mesjid Village, District XIII Koto Kampar. The study used a quantitative approach where primary data was collected through a survey of 70 respondents and the statistical technique Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to process the data. The results of the study confirm that there is a significant effect of market orientation on product innovation and competitive advantage, both direct and indirect effects through the mediation of product innovation variables. The entrepreneurial orientation variable influences the product innovation variable and competitive advantage, either directly or indirectly through the product innovation variable, but some other factors or variables affect the competitive advantage variable.

Abstract

Student MSMEs are generally not managed well. The awareness of students in urban areas like Jakarta is that they do not fully want to develop student-managed entrepreneurship. However, due to several demands from the campus to become entrepreneurs, UNJ communication science undergraduate study program students created student entrepreneurs by optimizing the social media Instagram. There are 10 student MSMEs managed by students from the Bachelor of Communication Science study program. As a marketing tool, they use Instagram social media to market their business products. The aim of this service activity is to help MSME students be able to optimize Instagram social media so that their MSME products can be competitive. The activity method used is project-based learning in copywriting courses. The results of this activity are that students are able to manage Instagram social media and optimize social media by improving the performance of the content produced, getting likes from users and increasing sales of their products.

Abstract

The numeracy literacy skills of students in Indonesia are still lacking or quite low and still need to be improved. This is due to the influence of inappropriate technology adaptation. The purpose of this activity is to implement several teaching campus programs that will improve the literacy and numeracy skills of Advent 5 Medan Private Junior High School students. This activity was carried out from February to June 2024. The methods used in this activity are lectures, discussions and direct practice in front of the class. At the end of the activity, students will be given a quiz activity to hone their thinking skills in answering literacy and numeracy questions. This activity also provides benefits for students in exploring talents and interests in critical thinking to solve literacy and numeracy problems in students. The result of this activity is that students are able to carry out several activities such as, reading, writing, counting, and competing quickly in answering literacy and numeracy questions. The benefits of this activity also provide very high motivation in exploring students' cognitive, psychomotor and motoric abilities in personal branding to become students with superior and competitive character.
