Abstract

The first phenomenon that underlies the importance of this multidisciplinary community service is related to the phenomenon of hoaxes. In general, media literacy is needed to be able to understand the messages they receive, how to find the right messages, and how to deal with them. Education certainly plays an important role for the younger generation who are the real targets of today's exposure to technology and digitalization. Mandiangin Village, which has problems at the education level, is the target of socialization and empowerment for students in Mandiangin Village which is deemed appropriate. So, the community service activities carried out are educating students about digitalization and the importance of literacy. It aims to explore the community's understanding of digitalization and literacy as well as to advocate for students as the younger generation regarding tips for dealing with hoaxes. Through this community service activity, especially on the first theme, namely recognizing digital literacy, it can be concluded that students have been able to know and understand the importance of digital literacy and respond to hoaxes

Abstract

The main purpose of community service is the application of Composite Wood Material Technology innovation to strengthen the structure of the 1 GT wooden hull to extend the service life of the ship to support river tourism transportation modes as a form of synergy in strengthening universities (PT) with the Industrial World Business World (DUDI). as a Business and Technology Incubation Pilot in Support of Entrepreneurship for Riau University Students. The approach method applied to community service is to conduct a Workshop between Universities, the Industrial World and Students with an educational pattern of providing material and practice in the shipbuilding industry through partnerships to manufacture a full-scale physical model of a 1 GT wooden fishing boat in the community shipbuilding industry owned by Mr. Rusdi at Simpang Gelombang, Sipungguk Village, Kuok District, Kampar Regency through the application of coating technology on wooden ship hull structures. The main result of community service proves that the application of composite wood material technology using fast-growing wood species for the construction of 1 GT community fishing boats has been applied to the wooden shipbuilding industry. The synergy of innovation and partnership between PT and DUDI is believed to encourage increased sustainability of ship life and the community's economy to support river tourism transportation modes and encourage the acceleration of the Entrepreneurship Program at the Riau University Campus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Hypnotherapy Direct Suggestion technique and Hypnotherapy Regression technique on the stress level of male and female athletes of martial arts in Ngawi Regency after the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to find out the difference in the better influence between Hypnotherapy Direct Suggestion technique and Regression technique on the stress level of male athletes and martial arts female athletes in Ngawi Regency after the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a study using quantitative methods with comparative study techniques. Comparative Research is a study conducted to find out whether two or more of the two groups there are differences in the aspects or variables studied. The results showed that the influence of Hypnotherapy direct suggestion technique and hypnotherapy regression technique on the stress level of male and female athletes of martial arts in Ngawi Regency after the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as a better influence of Hypnotherapy Direct Suggestion technique and compared to Regression technique on the stress level of male athletes and martial arts female athletes in Ngawi Regency after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Seasonal floods in Lake Lubuk Siam are already rare. This flood brought a lot of nutrients and fish into Lake Lubuk Siam. This results in a lack of fishermen's catches, so finding alternative sources of additional income for the surrounding community is necessary. This service uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method, which seeks to actively involve the community in efforts to develop an ecotourism area in Lake Lubuk Siam. The educational activity on ecotourism development in Lake Lubuk Siam was attended by 30 people consisting of the village government, the chairman, and members of the fishermen's group. Based on the questionnaire results, it can be seen that many people still did not understand the concept of ecotourism. Some others even consider that there is no potential for ecotourism development in their area. However, after socialization and education, the community understood and realized that the aquatic resources in their area could be developed into an ecotourism area. Through the results of this education, it can be concluded that the local community in Lake Lubuk Siam already has sufficient information as the primary capital for developing ecotourism independently in their area.

Abstract

This activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the community regarding the handling of wounds accompanied by bleeding. The methods used are lectures, questions and answers, and demonstrations related to first aid for wounds accompanied by bleeding. The activity is carried out with health cadres and the community in the Maharatu district, Subdistrict Marpoyan Damai. The number of participants who attended was 30 people. Before the material presentation, the respondent filled out a questionnaire, then continued with the provision of materials related to wounds, and the management of bleeding and then accompanied by demonstrations of how to first aid for wounds accompanied by bleeding. After the material presentation, the community was asked to fill out a questionnaire and re-demonstrate how to first aid wounds accompanied by bleeding. The results of this activity indicate that there was an increase in public knowledge regarding first aid for wounds accompanied by bleeding after counseling. Besides that the public could demonstrate first aid for wounds accompanied by bleeding. After this activity, the community has been able to perform first aid on wounds with bleeding independently at home.

Abstract

UMKM Graha Pratama Fish in Koto Mesjid village, Kampar district, is one of the partners of LPPM Riau University. This UMKM was originally designed to produce fish-based snacks. Therefore, this PKM activity is directed at fostering, developing and improving product quality that meets SNI standards. This solution will be offered to partners in order to develop their business and improve the quality of their products. The products that have been trained for several years before are fish sago noodles, meatballs, nuggets and fish snacks. Thus, this year's activity is a continuation of the activities of previous years, namely providing training to add product variants, so that PKM activities are emphasized on training on the manufacture of snack food products such as catfish fish skin chips. This product is one of the research products of a lecturer in the Department of Fishery Products Technology, Unri, meaning the campus intellectual product. The method of activity carried out is the extension and experiment method with the implementation stages as follows: (1) The preparation stage, which is to approach partners and provide an explanation of the aims and objectives for carrying out PKM activities. and (2) the implementation stage, namely providing counseling and training to partners, regarding the technology transfer of processing new variants of snacks such as fish skin chips. The outputs of this activity include: i) Increased public understanding of business management, ii) Identification new business opportunities for fish-based processed products to partners, and iii) Publication on online media (electronic) Pekanbaru Pos, as well as scientific articles for community service. n for seminars and publication in nationally accredited journals.

Abstract

The Community Service Team of the Faculty of Engineering of Riau University together with students of the Riau University 2022 Kukerta team in Batu Belah Village, Kampar District provided assistance and demonstrations on how to make eco-enzyme solution from organic waste as a multifunctional solution. The eco-enzyme solution is a liquid resulting from the fermentation of organic waste in the form of fruit and vegetable waste which is added brown sugar and water in a ratio of 3:1:10 for 90 days. The purpose of this community service activity was to provide knowledge to the community and housewives group of Batu Belah Village, Kampar District to utilize organic waste into eco-enzyme solution and the benefits of eco-enzyme for various functions. In the implementation of community service activities, several stages were carried out including the stage of meeting with village officials and recording enthusiasts who wanted to take part in the training, then from the results of the participant data, the socialization stage and demonstration of training materials for making eco-enzyme solutions. The last stage to see the achievement of the training results is monitoring the level of understanding and enthusiasm of the participants. The results of the service showed that the Batu Belah Village community was very enthusiastic about participating in the socialization of making eco-enzyme from organic waste and was willing to practice it in their respective homes with an understanding level of 93.3%.

Abstract

The existence of social capital is very important in agricultural development. The purpose of building social capital is to strengthen community empowerment to become a civil society, the community empowerment approach implies that humans are placed in the position of actors and beneficiaries of the process of finding solutions and achieving development results. Strong social capital will ensure sustainability in building a sense of trust within the community, especially group members. The main idea of empowerment is related to the concepts of social capital and power. Power is often associated and associated with the ability of individuals to make individuals do what they want, regardless of their desires and interests. This study aims to examine the relationship of social capital to the empowerment of farmer groups in Jatibaru Village, Bunga Raya District, Siak Regency. The analysis of this research uses the Spearman Rank Correlation method. Based on the results of the research, the Spearman Rank Correlation value of social capital on farmer empowerment in lowland rice farmer groups in Jatibaru Village obtained a sig (2-tailed) value of (0.000 < 0.05) so it can be concluded that social capital has a relationship with farmer empowerment in rice farmer groups. ricefield. The correlation coefficient value is 0.656 where this value is included in the category of a strong relationship.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out that strengthening resilience can be useful to help psychologically recover for students who are victims of criminal acts of sexual harassment. Of course, it is supported by good relations from family, school and social environment as well as a strong will on the victim to try to rise from adversity due to the occurrence of the crime of sexual harassment that happened to her. The type of research used by the author is normative or doctrinal legal research that is prescriptive and applied. This research approach is carried out with a statute approach . The results of this study indicate that efforts to strengthen resilience in the context of psychologically rehabilitating victims of sexual harassment crimes are useful for helping to forget the sadness and fear and despair due to the suffering received by the victims due to the criminal acts of sexual violence committed by the perpetrators. As well as support from families, schools and the environment will greatly help victims to be enthusiastic about returning to school to achieve the goals that victims hope for in the future

Abstract

In 2022, one of the government's programs and policies focus on advancing and developing the village economy. This is proved by the large amount of government budget allocated to village funds. One of the priorities for using village funds is for village economic recovery. That authority can be done by BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprise) as the manager of village-owned business.Currently, BUMDes are intensively building infrastructure, improving and promoting natural and man-made tourism in their village, which Duyung Village-Owned Enterprise is part of it. All tourism places in Duyung Village have been already operated. The FEB UB community service team in accordance with their majority, in the financial sector, begin to explore the financial management of the BUMDes.After examination, BUMDes need arrangement of financial management, because so far BUMDes has only made simple financial reports. Moreover, BUMDes funds are currently increasing, both from village funds and from tourism operational income. The Service Team uses the community development method in community service at Duyung Village-Owned Enterprises. This method has five stages, namely engagement, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this service is that financial management has been arranged and there are financial reports that are accountable by using cloud system technology
