Abstract

Arabica Coffee is one of the superior products of Enrekang Regency's plantation. SME Maqfirah as a coffee producer both in the form of green beans and roasted coffee products in Enrekang Regency faces the problem of not having production equipment so it needs supporting equipment to guarantee quality and increase the production. The aims for developing SME Maqfirah as the producer of kalosi arabica coffee by increasing production capacity, quality, and variety of products and emerging the market. The SME assistance program is implemented through the synergy between the Team of Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Pangkajene Kepulauan and the Enrekang Regency Industry Office in March-August 2018. The method of implementation is program socialization, counselling, assistance, and development in production and marketing. The implementation of science and technology resulting in the increase in production by 75%, increase in the quality of coffee flavour and aroma, increase in income, and the increase in marketing which has penetrated outside the province.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and technology to the members of the Sungai Paku Village Natural Fish Farmers Cultivation Group, Kampar Kiri District, Kampar Regency in resolving problems found so far, especially regarding the technology of baung fish farming in ponds and cages. The method used in this activity is the method of lectures, discussions and direct demonstrations. The results of the evaluation of knowledge changes obtained 14 people (70%) have been able to absorb the material provided with the predicate very well, 3 people (15%) can absorb the material given with a good predicate, 2 people (10%) can absorb material given with enough predicate, and only 1 person (5%) can absorb material given with less predicate and not found participants who get predicate less. The results of the skills evaluation showed that the participants of the activity have been able to practice the material provided especially about the manufacture of fish feed (pellets) and how to cope fish diseases in aquaculture. The results of the impact evaluation showed that activity has benefited members of the existing farmer groups, especially in the provision of fish feed (pellets) and management of fish diseases in aquaculture.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the entities of economic actors whose existence dominates the nation's economy, both in urban and rural areas, including businesses engaged in the culinary sector. In community service, it will empower the MSME Processed Food Association (IMO). Small business actors are advised to join the Processed Food/Beverage Association (IMO), with the aim of identifying all food/beverage businesses, which will then be easy to coordinate to accommodate the aspirations of SMEs such as knowing human resources, equipment, product quality or marketing accordingly with standardization criteria. Meet standardization, including to complete business legality. Small business actors who are members of IMO face various problems in terms of licensing and business legalization. Having a business license for the community is very important, but sometimes not a few people who do not want to take care of their business licenses due to lack of knowledge, limited data, and others. Through this service activity, the goals and targets to be achieved in the service activities are the legalization of business for business actors within the Processed Food Association (IMO). By having business legality, business people who are members of the IMO are expected to be able to compete in the free-market era. The method used in this service activity is carried out in the form of counselling, training and assistance in managing business legality.

Abstract

Probiotic Lactobacillus paracasei ssp paracasei Ml3 encapsulated carrageenan-skim was applied in the making of guava yoghurt as a substitute for natural starter curd to produce yoghurt quality and beneficial for health. Yoghurt “yojabi” is one of the flagship products PPUPIK probiotics Politani Payakumbuh. The method of activity is direct demonstrating, training and mentoring production process in the production group PPUPIK. The starter encapsulated carrageenan-skim 2:1 in the form of a wet capsule was inoculated by 3% into pasteurized milk and then fermented for 12 hours. The next process is a homogenizer by added guava pasteurized fruit juices and then packing. The results are that use encapsulated starter in the form of wet capsules let capsules as a starter into the fermentation container. Total lactic acid yoghurt is 1.09%, pH 4.6, and total lactic acid bacteria 9,2 log CFU/ml, the water content of 75.84%, ash content of 0.69%, protein levels of 4%, fat content 3.08%, and total carbohydrate 16.39%. Financial analysis obtained R/C ratio 1.48, and price BEP 3.382,30.

Abstract

After the enactment of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages on 15 January 2014, the Republic of Indonesia now has laws specifically regulating the administration of village governance. A very important part is the arrangement of village regulations. Village regulations are set by the village head after obtaining approval with the Village Consultative Body. In the process of establishing village regulations, community participation is needed, so that the output of village regulations can fulfil aspects of local community needs that are conveyed through the Village Consultative Body. The aspirations of the local community in the form of input and contribution ideas are more effective, because community complaints and opinions are taken into consideration in decision making. Related to this matter, the formulation of the problem in this study is how is community participation in the process of establishing Village Regulations in Koto Masjid Village, District XIII, Koto Kampar, Kampar Regency? There are still very many village organizers (Village Heads and Village Consultative Bodies) and village communities who do not yet have the knowledge and expertise in the field of legislation. This has the potential to affect the success of the implementation of the Law on Villages, and even does not rule out the possibility of creating legal chaos, among others, the occurrence of conflicts and overlapping laws and regulations. So that in the future knowledge of the establishment of legislation is needed which is able to encourage people to participate in the formation of village regulations, realize Village Regulations that are aspirational, responsive, obedient, harmonious and harmonious vertically and horizontally in the framework of developing national legal systems based on The 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and produced a Draft Law and Regulations that could be accounted for philosophically, juridically and sociologically. Knowledge can be obtained through legal counselling, especially legal counselling related to community participation in the process of establishing village regulations in Koto Masjid Village, District XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar District.

Abstract

Domestic violence is a form of human rights violation especially against women who are always victims. The government has issued a regulation namely Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. But domestic violence continues. Data from the National Commission on Violence Against Women shows graphs of violence against women especially domestic violence is increasing every year. Likewise, the case of domestic violence in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, shows quite high data. For this reason, understanding and training regarding legislation related to domestic violence are needed. The purpose of community service activities is to support higher education programs through women's studies centres to protect women's rights. Besides that, it is also to disseminate information to the public to prevent domestic violence. The method used in community service is lectures, dialogues and solving domestic violence cases, a combination of these methods is expected not only to get participants material about PKDRT but also trained to solve various problems of domestic violence. Participants in this activity are 50 PKK RT 01 / RW 09 Air Putih Village Pekanbaru City residents, with the consideration that as PKK administrators and members, they can transfer their knowledge to mothers in their neighbourhood.

Abstract

Village finances are strategic for both the village and the government in the district. the importance of the village finances is upheld by the provision of the bill for village number 6 of 2014. The conditions in the village actually indicate a financial pattern in the village done by village device. Starting from the planning stage must be organized with village people because in the performance and financial circumference of the village must be managed by transparent principles, accountable, passive participation also orderly and budgetary discipline. Service towards composing document planning for village development. Teaching planning on using the synopsis account to village officials includes exposure issues, budget postings and financial reports in APBDes. A buffer of BUMDes, Equal perception of village personnel, BUMDes regulation, Job Desk Managerial BUMDes. The targets are the village devices of the village treasurer. Abstract

The not yet maximally the application of mushroom cultivation techniques by the community has been an influence on the results of cultivation. The use of ineffective techniques can prolong working time and high damage to the oyster mushroom block, as experienced by MycoAgro businessman. This activity aims to improve mushroom cultivation techniques in order to increase the production of mushroom businesses owned by the community. This activity was carried out in the Panyalaian Nagari District X Koto, Tanah Datar District, West Sumatra. The method used is in the form of community assistance through counselling and training of partners in improving cultivation facilities, strengthening cultivation techniques that have been and have not been mastered by partners. Making operational standards for cultivation tools and work safety procedures and providing entrepreneurial motivation counselling to partners. The results of the activity showed that there had been an increase in understanding of cultivation techniques controlled by partners. Partners have been able to complete 2000 mushroom blocks with a faster time than before. There has been a division of labour with cultivation locations and work safety procedures. During the process of cultivating bag locks which were damaged only 15%, this number was far smaller than before. The average production of oyster mushrooms is 30.7 kg/week. Partners have produced their own seeds, know the technique of consuming mushroom cultivation besides oyster mushrooms and are able to use growing media other than wood husks. Based on the activities carried out it can be concluded that there has been an increase in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms owned by the community.

Abstract

Pandau Jaya Village is one of the villages in Siak Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar Regency. The dedication activity was carried out in conjunction with the integrated student activities of UNRI in 2019 and in collaboration with partners (CV Bang Lele Indonesia) in the service activities. The purpose of this activity is to empower PKK members in making fermented herbal medicine, the results will be sold to CV Bang Lele Indonesia for use in feeding fish to aquaculture so as to enhance growth, health and disease resistance. The method used is, first the lecture and discussion method, namely the delivery of material related to the activities of making fermented herbs, then continued with the practice of making herbs, spreading fish seeds, and how to feed herbal medicine to fish that have been maintained by partners. The results of this community service activity, there were two participants who had succeeded in making fermented herbal medicine and immediately applied it in cultivation activities, while the other one only produced fermented herbal medicine and was sold to CV Bang Lele Indonesia. Observation of growth and survival. fish were observed for two months. The types of fish that are kept are catfish and tilapia. The results of the observations showed that the cultivated fish experienced rapid growth, that is, during the 60 days of maintenance there was an increase in the average length of 10 cm and a weight of 50 g for tilapia, whereas in catfish 12 cm and weighs 75 g.

Abstract

Community service activities have been carried out in the form of local fruit-based yoghurt making techniques from Bagan Manunggal Village, Bagan Sinembah sub-district, Rokan Hilir Regency. This activity is an application of the use of appropriate technology with Biotechnology to the community which aims to empower the economy of the local community through processing fruits into yoghurt. Service activities are carried out in two stages, namely; the socialization stage to the community, the training phase and guidance on making yoghurt from fruits. The socialization phase was conducted in collaboration with the village government and the PKK Kepenghuluan Bagan Manunggal Driving Team. The training phase is carried out with direct demonstration methods, guidance and open discussion related to making Yogurt from local fruits. The results of this activity are obtained by Yogurt products in the form of Pineapple Yogurt, Salak Yogurt, Jackfruit Yogurt, Banana Yogurt, and Dragon Fruit Yogurt.
