Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted on October 1th to December 31st, 2017 in the Kualu Nenas Village, Tambang District, Kampar regency, Riau Province. Objective of study was to determine the effect of doze of biofertilizer formulations, and biomass of Azolla microphylla, especially the change of pH in the each treatments. Method of this research used the experimental design by factorial experiment with Complit Randomized Block Design (CRBD). The fisrt treatment was used the doze of biofertilizer formulation (P), without doze of biofertilizer formulation (P0), doze 300 g/m2 (P1), doze 450 g/m2 (P2), doze 600 g/m2 (P3), doze 750 g/m2 (P4). And the second treatments was the biomass of Azolla microphylla (B), without biomass Azolla microphylla (B0), biomass Azolla microphylla 20 g/m2 (B1), biomass of Azolla microphylla 40 g/m2 (B2), biomass Azolla microphylla 60 g/m2 (B3). Result of this research showed the doze of biofertilizer formulation had in effects to the change of pH, while the biomass of Azolla microphylla  not on the effect to the change of pH in the water. The best treatment for doze of biofertilizer formulation  was P3 (doze 600 g/m2) was pH value 6,95±1,14. Then, the best of combination factors of using in the research was P3B3 (600 g/m2 and 60 g/m2), was pH value 7,17±1,10. Water quality parameters measuring were temperature, DO, and CO2 were good, and suppated to the cultivation in peatlands. Keywords: Biofertilizer Formulation, Biomass Azolla microphylla, pH, Peat Land

Abstract

ABSTRACT                This research was conducted on May 1st to July 31th, 2018, on Peatlands, Kualu Nenas Village, Tambang District, Kampar District, Riau Province. Sample analysis was carried out at the Laboratory of Aquaculture Quality and Fisheries Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a Complete Random Design (CRD) with 1 factor, 5 treatments and 4 replications.. The treatments in this study were P0 (control), P1 (300 g/m2), P2 (450 g/m2), P3 (600 g/m2) and P4 (750 g/m2). The container is used by 20 barrel units made of PVC with a diameter of 59 cm and a height of 100 cm with an area of 273 cm2 (0.273 m2). The results of the research that has been done show that there is an effect of dosing biofertilizer on phosphate changes in peat soil. The best dose of biofertilizer in this study was found in P4 (750 g/m2) with a P level of Total 1.07% and phosphate levels in water 3.91 mg/l. The linear regression test between P Total (%) and the formulation biofertilizer dose is y = 0.0629 + 0.0013x, the contribution value is R2 = 0.95. The increase in total P concentration was influenced by biofertilizer doses of 95.01% and influenced by 4.99% by other factors. The coefficient of determination of the correlation (r) is 0.97 means that there is a very strong positive relationship between the total P concentration with the biofertilizer dose; Linear regersi test between Phosphate water (mg / l) and formulation biofertilizer dosage is y = 1.9974 + 0.0021x, the contribution value is R2 = 0.79. Increased phosphate water concentration was influenced by biofertilizer doses of 79.16% and influenced by 20.84% by other factors. The coefficient of determination of the correlation (r) is 0.88 means that there is a very strong positive relationship between the phosphate concentration of water and the dose of biofertilizer. Water quality parameters during the study included temperature ranging from 26-32 0C, pH ranged from 6-7, DO ranged from 3.2 to 8.6, CO2 from 13.31 to 49.94 mg/l, and turbidity values ranged from 18 -21.25 NTU.Keyword: Phosphate, Biofertilizer, Peat soil

Abstract

Acute toxicity and sub-acute test of heavy metal Cd (cadmium) to fish ofcath-fish (Cromileptes altivelis) have been done from January 10th-March 20th2009 in Laboratory of Water Quality Management, Faculty of Fisheries andMarine Science, Riau University, Pekanbaru. This experiment aimed to determinethe lethal and sub-acute toxicities of the heavy metal Cd (cadmium) toxicantconcentration to fish of the cath-fish, Cromileptes altivelis, which is an importantof fish species freshwater culture in Indonesia, especially in Riau. Result of theexperiments indicated that heavy metal Cd (cadmium) concentrations have aneffect on to mortalitas, absolute weight growth, daily growth rate, survival rateand behavior of Cromileptes altivelis). LC50 96 value was 1,295 mg/L. And AF(Application factor) value is 0,01. Evaluation on the safe concentration level ofthe heavy metal Cd (cadmium) toxicant was based on the data obtained fromsubchronic tests (i.e. effects on the absolute weight growth, daily growth rate, survival rate and behaviour). The estimate values of NOEC (No Observed EffectConcentration) for heavy metal Cd (cadmium) toxicant was 0,013 mg/L.

This study aims to determine the effect of formulation biofertilizer doses on increasing Nitrate in peat soil media. The expected benefit in this study is that it can provide fish farmers with scientific information about how best doses of formulated biofertilizer are to increase the productivity of peat soil pools. The method used in this study is the experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of 1 factor with 5 levels of treatment and 4 replications. The treatments used were the administration of formulation biofertilizer with a dose of P1 (700 g/ m2), P2 (750 g / m2), P3 (800 g / m2), P4 (850 g / m2), and P0 (without formulation biofertilizer). The results showed that the dosage formulation biofertilizer with a dose of 750 g / m2 affected the soil quality parameters (total N, total  P,  total  K)  and  water  quality  (pH,   DO,  Temperature,  Nitrate  and Orthopospat). Furthermore, the chemical parameters of water quality during the study were relatively good, temperatures ranged from 25-28 0C, pH ranged from4.4 to 6.8, DO ranged from 3.9 to 7.3, mg / l, Nitrate ranged from 1.58 to 3.23 mg/ l and orthoposphate values range from 2.114 to 8.915 mg / l. The soil quality parameters in the P2 (750 g / m2) N total treatment ranged from 0.25-0.36%, the total P ranged from 21.01 to 89.71%. The total K ranges from 50.92-176.57%. Keyword: Peat Soil, Formulation Biofertilizer, nitrate,

Abstract

This research was conducted from October to December 2016 in the Kualu Nenas village Tambang Distric Kampar Regency and in Environmental Quality Aquaculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine University of Riau. The objective of this research is to know the effect of biofertilizer type on change of soil physics properties and peat pond water such as the soil color, crude soil fiber, bulk density, soil porosity, temperature, turbidity and total suspended solid. The experimental design used a complete randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatments applied were without biofertilizer (P0), biofertilizer from chicken manure (P1), biofertilizer from cow dung (P2), biofertilizer from human fecal (P3). The result of this study showed that P3 (biofertilizer from human fecal) was the best treatment for (crude soil fiber 47,1%; BD 0,45 g/cm3; and porosity 68%). For the turbidity and TSS, the best result in P0 (control). For the soil color of biofertilizer is no effected. The temperature of water that range from 26-300C. The range temperature is still quite good for aquatic organisms.Key words: Biofertilizer, Physical Parameter, Peat Land
