Abstract

Mobile phones have a very high benefit to help humans work, communicate. However, mobile phones can also have the opposite effect if they are used to play games, spending a lot of time doing an activity that is not very useful. If there is no action of an appropriate method of accompaniment in counseling in which the church plays an important role, it will cause an even more complicated problem. The purpose of this research is to reveal a model or method for dealing with children who are addicted to playing online games. ?. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show a form of Pastor Center Solution method of pastoral counseling assistance that can be applied to Generation Z and Alpha who are addicted to playing online games, namely the Shepherd who acts as a center for solving Pastoral Counseling problems, fostering parents to become an extension of the hand who can see their children closely. Directly, do a follow-up regarding the development of children who are addicted to online games.

Abstract

This research is motivated by intense communication with several elderlies which then encouraged the researcher to take a deeper look into their existence. The results of the study indicate that there is a communication gap in the family that causes elderlies to experience loneliness. Therefore, this study is about how elderlies can overcome the lonely atmosphere experienced with self-motivation, perception of life, and a relationship with God as a companion who can overcome loneliness. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of the elderly’s loneliness, self-motivation needs, perceptions about life, and the extent of their relationship with God. This research uses a qualitative method and descriptive approach, data are collected through the interview technique. Qualitative analysis is taken from the data that has been interpreted and provided with information and studies. The research has shown that the communication gap in the family does impact the self-motivation of elderlies and their perceptions of God. Therefore, pastoral counseling is indispensable.

Abstract

The purpose of marriage is to achieve a harmonious and happy family life. In reality, often domestic harmony and happiness do not materialize due to the misunderstanding of family members regarding their roles and functions in the family. Psalm 128:1-6 becomes an important part of the Bible which talks about the necessity of a man playing the role of a husband to build happiness in the family because it must be delivered at the time of premarital counseling. This study uses qualitative research with a literature study approach (Library Research), and specifically, in examining Psalm 128:1-6 the author uses a hermeneutic approach with the grammatical-historical approach to finding the meaning of the selected text. The findings in the study revealed that an understanding of the self-concept of a happy family that focuses on the role of a man as a husband must be built through premarital guidance. Therefore, premarital guidance is an absolute requirement to be carried out before entering into marriage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is, to describe and analyze the learning process of teachers after the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to analyze the obstacles and challenges of learning carried out by teachers in educating and educating students with a Pastoral Counseling perspective. The method used in this study is the Descriptive Qualitative method, which was implemented at one of the elementary schools in Manado City, in 2022. The data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the analysis and interpretation of this data, it is an indication that there are obstacles and challenges in the learning process that is, there are some students who have psychological symptoms and delays in understanding the lesson. From the findings of this research, it is recommended, that every teacher must always be creative, innovative, and understand his students in educating and implementing learning, and can continue to develop skills, create the new things in educating their students and always evaluate. Every teacher must also have five bits of intelligence that are intellectual, moral, social, emotional, and motor intelligence.

Abstract

Bipolar is a form of mental disorder that refers to mood disorders that include emotional disorders that make a person not perform their life functions properly where the sufferer will experience sadness from the phase of depression to euphoria and unrealistic in the mania phase. The goal of the study was to outline how cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) approaches play a role in bipolar disorder as well as counseling techniques through cognitive behavior therapy approaches. Research is done through literature studies by collecting relevant data from books, journals, magazines, and so on. The result of this study is that CBT is present to change the perception of a wrong mindset about a sufferer who has an impact on maladaptive behavior, using CBT techniques, namely: supportive guidance, positive thinking therapy, Socratic method, and thought stopping.

Abstract

At this time, we often encounter in family life various problems, such as divorce. Divorce affects not only the couple but also the children. After the divorce, the parents decided to marry again. When parents decide to remarry, not all children can accept it. There are children who cannot accept the existence of stepparents, but there are also those who can accept it. The purpose of writing this journal is to determine pastoral assistance to the acceptance of children who have stepparents. Researchers looked at how the response of children with stepparents, what is the reaction of children who have stepparents, especially a daughter on the shoulder of the District Malalayang one. Researchers use case study research methods, more precisely descriptive case studies. As for the data collection is done by interviewing the subject of research.

Abstract

Basically, street children are a group of children who face a lot of problems. Street children are children who are forced into existence by a situation (economic factors, harmony, family, criminality, and so on) that he himself does not want so as to make himself have to maintain his existence as an adult human to continue living by working anything, anywhere, and anytime they can. One of the factors that cause the emergence of street children is economic problems or parents encouraging children to work for reasons to help the family economy, etc. This researcher saw the need for a pastoral counseling service in providing assistance to street children. This study used descriptive qualitative that seeks to describe a social symptom. Pastoral care is a solid foundation for the understanding of pastoral counseling. Pastoral care is a dimension of the church that needs to be done considering that throughout the span of life, the people will not be separated from unexpected crises or problems. Abstract

Elderly or commonly referred to as elderly is someone who has entered the final stages of the life phase. Elderly is an advanced stage of a life process characterized by a decrease in the body's ability to adapt to environmental stress. The aging process is characterized by visible and invisible physiological changes. In old age there are several problems faced by the elderly, namely, economic problems, social problems, health problems, psychosocial problems, and changes in interest in old age. The problem of interest and desire in the elderly is one of the most disturbing problems for themselves and those around them. Pastoral ministry takes a big place in supporting the existence of the elderly. Pastoral Accompaniment Service is a dimension of the church that needs to be carried out bearing in mind that throughout its life span, people will not be separated from crises or unexpected problems. Mentoring or accompanying is an activity that can help counselees. In this elderly period requires special attention, because of the increasingly weak physical abilities and various diseases that the elderly may suffer. The approach in this study is to use this research usingdescriptive qualitative which seeks to describe a social phenomenon. The object of research is the elderly in the Ranomuut Nursing Home.

Abstract

Postpartum depression or postpartum depression is experienced by mothers who get more pressure in their lives after giving birth. A mother who is not ready mentally, physically, economically and spiritually is very vulnerable to experiencing postpartum depression. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative which seeks to describe a social phenomenon, where the data collected is first explained, then analyzed and formulated. This study aims to show the role of pastoral counseling for mothers who experience depression, specifically for adolescents aged less than 20 years. A woman who will give birth should be aged 20 years and over in order to reduce the depressions that appear and other disorders.

Abstract

The family is a place where each family member grows and flourishes, a family might be likened to a house that must correlate between every aspect of the element in it. Relationships not only talk about relationships but also talk about correlation that must have a connection between each other. Family circumstances should also emphasize an awareness of the essence of each member of the family, one that must be marked by definite and precise limits on application. A single upbringing is something that has to be associated with essence and boundaries that can set a specific goal. It is essentially the goal of taking control of and fulfilling the duties of each individual inside, that love always hates the basis of the application of foster care, but understanding of excessive affection can lead to parents in providing deviant foster care such as helicopter parenting. In the study researchers would like to try to explore more deeply the matter of the care of the helicopter's helicopter pattern is supported by qualitative and cemented research approaches with a pastoral case-counseling approach. This heatophic fabrication if it is left to disrupt the stability of the family and impact on mental issues that can last personally acceptable.
