Abstract

Various things from previous research studies have been attempted to build mathematical connections and their uses from various types of indicators of mathematical connections and a sense of self-confidence. So the purpose of this study is to classify the types of mathematical connections and students' self-confidence. The method used in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. This study is intended to gain the strength of scientific studies in building a framework of mathematical connection abilities through the types of indicators of mathematical connections that suit the needs and identify self-confidence. The results of the study of several articles on the types of mathematical connections, to build mathematical connection skills, in this study recommend four types of mathematical connections of students, namely: (1) connecting between concepts in one mathematical material, (2) connecting between concepts in the field of mathematics, (3) connecting mathematical concepts with other fields, and (4) connecting mathematical concepts to solve problems in everyday life. Based on the results and discussions that have been described, it can be concluded that self-confidence has a significant effect on students' mathematical connection abilities, so that students' self-confidence has a positive effect on students' mathematical connection abilities.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is an important factor in the learning process. Mathematical literacy is able to help students succeed in their lives, because mathematics is not just a science but the mastery of mathematical skills by understanding the mathematics around it. PISA results of Indonesian students occupy mathematical literacy at levels 1 and 2 of 6 levels, which shows students are only able to solve routine problems. One of the steps so that students can develop mathematical literacy skills is project-based learning (PjBL), students are more active in learning by exploring, interpreting, synthesizing, and providing information in completing a project. The type of research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) Several studies of articles on mathematical literacy, weak mathematical literacy in the content of change and relationship, quantity and uncertainty and data show that students are less able to understand teaching materials related to arithmetic functions, algebra, number concepts, statistics and probability. The development of students' mathematical literacy skills with the tendency of intelligence possessed by students can also affect the learning styles used by students.Besides this, Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning is suitable learning in improving mathematical literacy skills. fish. Students not only learn in theory but students also learn practically in real life.

Abstract

The statistical literacy ability of junior high school students is still low. One way to improve statistical literacy skills is to innovate the applied learning model, namely the modified project-based learning model. The purpose of this study was to analyze the achievement and improvement of statistical literacy skills of students who received modified project-based learning with conventional ones, as well as to find out the interpretation of increasing statistical literacy skills of students from both classes. The method in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The sampling technique was carried out by taking a sample of two classes at Al Musyaffa Middle School, Kendal district using the technique Purposive Sampling. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively using Normalized Gain Test and Mann Whitney. The results showed that the achievement and improvement of statistical literacy skills of students who received modified project-based learning were better than students who received conventional learning based on modification project have a moderate interpretation while increasing students' statistical literacy skills with conventional learning has a low interpretation.

Abstract

Mathematical communication is needed by people to communicate ideas or solving mathematical problems, either orally, in writing, or visually, both in learning mathematics and outside learning mathematics. Mathematical communication skills can be viewed from several aspects, one of which is self-efficacy which affects student success. In addition to mathematical communication, self-efficacy or self-confidence in one's ability to communicate ideas simultaneously has an influence on learning achievement. The teacher also uses a learning model, namely the Trefinger learning model. This model uses divergent thinking along with the ability to apply the concepts that have been learned. In addition, the teacher also uses a performance assessment, with a performance assessment an assessment will be carried out on student activities as it happened.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen dan tata kelola pesantren dalam membentuk karakter santri. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Peneliti melakukan studi literatur atas manajemen pesantren dari berbagai literatur mutakhir. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen dan tata kelola pesantren yang ideal dapat menciptakan karakter santri. Manajemen atau tata kelola pesantren yang dimaksud adalah; Pertama, pesantren harus senantiasa menciptakan pembiasaan (habit) yang baik selaku miniatur pembelajaran karakter. Kedua, menguatkan pembiasaan ibadah berjamaah untuk seluruh masyarakat pesantren. Ketiga, menanamkan sikap saling menghormati dan menghargai seksama baik dalam situasi belajar maupun tidak. Ketiga manajemen pesantren demikian dirasa dapat melatih kecakapan pribadi dan pembentukan karakter santri.

Abstract

Abstract. With the existence of social studies subjects in elementary schools, students are expected to have knowledge and insight about the basic concepts of social science and humanities, have sensitivity and awareness of social problems in their environment, and have the skills to study and solve these social problems. However, learning is currently experiencing obstacles because of online learning. Student learning outcomes are decreasing, due to the lack of appropriate teaching methods in online learning. Under these conditions, research is needed in class VI SDN Sananwetan 2, Sananwetan District, Blitar City. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The learning method used is the Multicultural learning method, which is an attitude in looking at the uniqueness of humans without distinguishing race, culture, gender, physical condition or one's economic status. Within the scope of education, a learning that includes multicularism is needed so that students can recognize and respect the diversity of other social groups.

Abstract

Abstract. Elementary education or elementary school is the initial momentum for children to improve their abilities, from elementary school they get immunity to learning which then becomes a habit they do in the future. Thematic learning in class II on how to take care of animals, there are still many students who are not used to doing it at home. For this reason, there is a need for education from schools that foster students' love for animals and plants in the student's environment. This learning must be started early so that in the future students are accustomed to doing it at home. The thing that is currently blocking it is the existence of a pandemic so that learning from teachers must be online, but teachers must be more creative in developing their professionalism. The teacher uses the Picture and Picture learning method so that online learning goes well. Based on this, qualitative research is needed on students in learning about Caring for Animals. Mathematics education in elementary school is the beginning of a child's beginning to explore his ability to understand concepts in mathematics and the knowledge gained will greatly influence him at the next level of education. In learning to make a bar chart in Class IV Semester 2 of SDN Karangtengah 1, Sanawetan District, Blitar City, in the 2020/2021 academic year, it can be seen that there are still many students who do not understand the concept. This is due to the frequent online learning during the corona pandemic, so teachers have not yet completed learning. Such conditions require teachers to conduct research. The research used is a qualitative research on learning Mathematics with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The method used to solve problems in learning to make Bar Charts is the Guided Discovery method, which is a technique or method used by the teacher to teach in front of the class, where the teacher divides the task of researching a problem into the class.

Abstract

Abstract. Learning Indonesian is a learning that has 4 aspects that must be achieved by students, namely aspects of writing, reading, listening, and speaking. In teaching speech in class VI, students must learn in compiling speech texts and in delivering the speech in public. Speech learning activities in Class VI SDN Rembang 1, Sanawetan District, Blitar City in semester 2 of the 2020/2021 Academic Year still show the lack of success of teachers in teaching to students, especially in online learning so there needs to be an appropriate learning method. This requires teachers to conduct research, while the research is used qualitatively on students in learning Indonesian. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The learning facilities used are learning using the Modeling The Way method, which is a teaching method carried out by the teacher providing a scenario for a sub-discussion to be demonstrated by students in front of the class.
