Abstract

Infections in the upper respiratory tract are the cause of under-five mortality and are also a crucial health problem in Indonesia, the main cause in the Tomia Health Center area which every year has increased, namely in 2018 the prevalence of toddler ARI cases by 9,4%, in 2019 by 12,8% while in 2020 increased to 17,0%. The motivation behind the review is to discover the determinant of ARI events in toddlers in the Working Area of Tomia Health Center Wakatobi Regency. This kind of examination is an insightful study with a Cross-Sectional Study plan. The review populace was all moms who had toddlers in the Tomia Health Center Work Area as numerous as 705 people with a sample number of 88 toddlers taken proportionally random sampling. The analysis method uses the Chi-Square test. The results of the study with Chi-Square test showed that the ventilation variables of the house obtained values (X2calculated= 27.381 and = 0.581), occupancy density (X2count= 27.929 and = 0.586) air pollution in the house (X2count= 22,863 and = 0.533) and floor type (X2count= 19.939 and = 0.499). The conclusion pf this study that there is a relationship between home ventilation, occupancy density, air contamination in the house and the kind of floor with the rate of ARI in toddlers in the Tomia Health Center Work Area. It is recommended to the Tomia Health Center to further improve counselling related to the importance of a health-qualified home environment.

Abstract

Reproductive health in Indonesia is a problem that needs attention. Indonesia is a country with the second highest number of young marriages in ASEAN. In order to achieve a happy home life, the bride and groom (catin) need to follow guidance. This study aims to find out various counseling methods that are effective for increasing the knowledge of prospective brides (catin) in Indonesia. This research is a literature review study that reviews various research journals. Data obtained from secondary data taken from 7 previous research journals. The results showed that of the 7 journals there were similarities, namely that there was a significant influence on catin knowledge by holding reproductive health counseling.

Abstract

Taeniasis is an infectious disease caused by tapeworms belonging to the genus Taenia in humans. This study aims to determine the description of the laboratory results of the incidence of Taeniasis in North Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The research method is descriptive. The samples obtained were 106 people. The survey results showed no Taenia worm eggs were found but the eggs of the worms Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichiuris trichiura, and Ancylostoma duodenale. The risk factors for personal hygiene are not cleaning themselves after taking care of livestock 0.9% and the risk factors for environmental sanitation are the type of clean water facilities in the form of springs 86.8%, not having latrines 1.9%, there is no place to dispose of livestock manure 95, 3%, and the distance of waterways ≤ 10 meters. It is necessary to provide counseling to people who have livestock and selective treatment to people with other worm infections.

Abstract

The two most important factors that affect hospital services are patient happiness and quality of service. Nurses, doctors who don't care about patients or their families, unpleasant doctors and nurses, and communication problems with medical staff are some of the hospital's medical services that patients don't like. This study aims to ascertain how the satisfaction of inpatients at Malang Hospital will be affected by medical service standards in 2022. This type of research is an analytical survey with an explanatory design. This population is inpatients using the BPJS general health service type and the sample is 68 people. Collect information with questionnaires or questionnaires. Univariate analysis, two-variable analysis using Pearson correlation, and multivariate analysis using multiple linear regression are examples of data analysis techniques. Bivariate results show that reliability is related to patient satisfaction. The results of multiple linear regression tests affecting patient satisfaction are reliability and care. Officers such as doctors and nurses need to be concerned in carrying out friendly services to patients to pay attention to patients and respond quickly to patient complaints.

Abstract

The development of Covid-19 in Indonesia based on reports from the Covid-19 Task Force as of January 10st 2021, amounted to 828.026 cases with the addition of daily cases of 9.640 cases. Meanwhile, there were 20 positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 at Konda Health Center, 18 suspected cases and 2 deaths. This study intends to examine the relationship between individual characteristics and knowledge with the prevention of Coronavirus Disease in the people of Konda District, South Konawe Regency. The research method is quantitative using a cross sectional study design. The research population was 21.196 people, with a sample of 96 people. The analysis method uses the Chi Square Test. The results showed that there was a relationship age with X2count = 26,808 > X2table = 3,841, there was a relationship sex with X2count = 25,011 > X2table = 3,841), there was a relationship education with X2count = 32,224 > X2table=3,841, there is a relationship knowledge with X2count = 26,709 > X2table= 3,841. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between age, gender, education, and knowledge with the prevention of Covid-19 in the community in the Konda Health Center area, South Konawe Regency. it is hoped that the Covid-19 team at the Konda Health Center, to be pro-active in carrying out counseling or outreach in providing Covid-19 education to the community, so that the community gets evenly distributed information which has an impact on increasing knowledge related to Covid-19 prevention.

Abstract

Malaria is an infectious disease caused by the protozoan parasite of the genus Plasmodium. This disease is transmitted through the bite of the Anopheles mosquito. Malaria is found in almost all parts of the world,According to data from the Ministry of Health, the incidence of malaria in Papua is 64,030 per 1,000 population. The purpose of this study was to determine the malaria receptive area in Biak Regency. The working area of the Bosnik Health Center and the Marauw Health Center. The material used in this study is the Larvae Entomology Survey Kit, the method used in this study is the Observational Survey of Anopheles Sp. The results of this study were from 8 breeding place points conducted by a larval survey, 2 positive points of Anopheles Sp larvae were found which were located in 2 villages, namely Orwer Village and Marauw Saba Village, Biak Regency, Papua Province. Anopheles Sp larvae were still found in Orwer and Saba villages and were included in the Malaria Receptive Area Category.It is necessary to prevent and control malaria vectors in the work area of the Biak Numfor District Health Office, both physically (pond stockpiling/sanitation engineering), chemical (insecticide and larvicide administration) and biologically (sowing fish as natural predators of Anopheles Sp larvae).

Abstract

Health problems caused by environmental conditions around humans in the form of sewerage, garbage disposal, water sources and family latrines. The purpose of this study was to identify environmental-based health problems in the working area of the Mata Health Center. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research with a survey approach. The population in this study is the entire community, totaling 11,298 people. The sample in this study was 200 respondents with a sampling technique using simple random sampling. The results showed that the environmental-based diseases in the coastal areas of the Mata health center were diarrhea (58%), dengue (12%), malaria (4.5%), ARI (5.5%), contact dermatitis (20%), While the description of environmental factors in the coastal area is that the majority of clean water sources come from PDAM (60%), the condition of the water used is in the smelly category (1%), tasted water (7.5%), colored water (8.5% ); there are still those who do not have latrines (8%), latrines are not always closed (42.5%), do not clean latrines (7%); there are still those who do not have a garbage disposal at home (4%), and even if they have a garbage can, there are still non-watertight and closed garbage disposal containers (28%).The conclusion of this research is that there were still environmental factors that did not meet health requirements in the coastal area of ​​the Mata Health Center and caused environmental-based diseases.

Abstract

The prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus in Indonesia in 2018 based on an examination of blood sugar levels in residents 15 years old is 8.5%, while in Papua, doctors diagnosed with a population aged 15 years are 1.1%. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) Integrated Guidance Post participants at the Kotaraja Health Center, Jayapura City. This type of research is an observational study with a cross-sectional study design. The population of the study was people aged >15 years in the working area of the Kotaraja Health Center who visited the NCDs Integrated Guidance Post. The sample of this study was all participants of the Integrated Guidance Post of the NCDs with a total of 52 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. Statistical test using chi-square test. As many as 7 people (13.5%) of Integrated Guidance Post participants had type 2 DM and 45 people (86.5%) did not have type 2 DM. The results of the statistical analysis found age (p-value= 0.04), as well as fruit and vegetables (p-value= 0.004), had a relationship with the incidence of type 2 DM in Integrated Guidance Post of the Non-Communicable Diseases participants at the Kotaraja Health Center with a p-value <0.05. Factors related to the incidence of type 2 DM in NCDs Integrated Guidance Post participants at the Kotaraja Health Center were age and fruit and vegetable consumption. The active role of cadres and health workers in educating and screening the community is an effort to prevent and control Non-Communicable Diseases in the community.

Abstract

The results of the 2018 Riskesdas showed that the incidence of anemia had increased from 2013, which was 37.1% to 48.9%. The increase in this figure is due to low nutritional status during pregnancy and improvement of the nutritional status can be started when they are teenagers or before pregnancy and marriage. The purpose of this study was to determine the behavior of preventing nutritional anemia in Public Health Faculty, Halu Oleo University students. This study used a descriptive research technique with a population of 42 female students with a sampling size of 30 samples. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The target population is based on students who have Upper Arm Circumference (UAC) below normal as a risk factor for Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) and anemia in adolescents. The results showed that there were 22 respondents who had sufficient knowledge (73.3%), 21 respondents who had a positive attitude (70.0%), and 20 respondents who had good actions (66.7%). The conclusion from this study was that students' knowledge was quite good but the proportion of poor anemia prevention measures was also still large, namely 33.3%.

Abstract

The results of the initial interview revealed that Bhayangkara Hospital Makassar adheres to a hierarchical system with a management system based on the leadership command line. Management in implementing an organizational culture where the Bhayangkara Hospital Makassar consisting of members of the police, ASN and BLU adheres to the applied police values. This study aims to determine the relationship between organizational culture and the implementation (GHG) of good hospital governance in Bhayangkara Hospital Makassar. This type of research used descriptive quantitative research with a Cross-Sectional Study approach. The population in this study were all employees at the Bhayangkara Hospital Makassar as many as 207 people the sampling technique used the Slovin formula so that a sample of 136 respondents was obtained and the data analysis technique used Multiple Linear Regression Tests with SPSS assistance. The results of this study indicate an assessment of variables the values obtained are sig.= 0.031 < 0.05. Confidence variable obtained a sig. value of 0.045 < 0.05. Organizational climate variable is obtained sig.= 0.026 < 0.05. The tradition variable was obtained with a value of sig.= 0.020 <0.05. The conclusion in this study is that the variables of belief, organizational climate and tradition have a significant relationship to Good Hospital Governance in Bhayangkara Hospital Makassar.
