Abstract

The curriculum development model is a model used to develop a curriculum where curriculum development aims to improve or perfect a curriculum that is made to be developed by it self either from the central government, local government or schools. In the learning process in general, various problems arise, especially for elementary level students where students get bored easily, lack of concentration on learning activities. Descriptive qualitative research methods with case study techniques in this journal article the author uses. The need for teacher innovation in developing an independent curriculum model to overcome these problems because the teacher is the main milestone in education and the creativity of the teacher is needed in teaching, especially in education in basic-level Islamic learning. Salah satu desain pengembangan kurikulum menggunakan model pengembangan berbasis kebutuhan sendiri atau kebutuhan lokal. Karena berbagai permasalahn dan kendala menjadi tantangan di SDI Al Azhar Kota Kediri. Pengembangan kurikulum prototipe sudah dilakukan selama tiga tahun. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, desain pengembangan ini membawa perubahan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran di periode sebelumnya. Dalam konteks ini, perlu mengadakan penelitian lebih mendalam tentang implementasi pengembangan kurikulum berbasis prototipe. Guna mendapatkan pendalaman, penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan fokus pengembangan dalam bidang ilmu Pendidiakan Agama Islam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembengan kurikulum model prototipe akan berhasil jika ditopang dengan adanya inovasi guru kreatifitas guru dalam mengajar pendidikan dalam pembelajaran Agama Islam (PAI) tingkat dasar.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an literacy education is one of the learning materials to direct students to the ability to read, write, understand, appreciate and make the Qur'an as a life guide. The ability to read and write the Qur'an is a skill possessed as a result of experience, education and training. This shows that the ability to read and write the Qur'an contains a learning dimension. Therefore, the importance of education in reading and writing the Qur'an in the ability of every human being to be able to read and write the Qur'an properly and correctly. This study aims to determine the effect of BTQ courses on the ability to read and write the Koran in PAI students batch 2018 at IAIN Kediri. This study uses quantitative methods with the type of correlation and regression research. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a population of 441 students, then a sample of 111 students is taken and the data analysis uses a simple linear regression test. And the results of this study indicate that there is a strong relationship between BTQ courses and the ability to read and write the Qur'an with a Pearson correlation value of 0.639 and there is an effect of reading and writing al- Qur'an courses on the ability to read and write the Qur'an. with the magnitude of the effect of 0.390 or 39%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning of the at-Tartil method as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in learning the at-Tartil method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at TPQ Wildaanul Muslimin Gondang Manis Jombang. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive qualitative research. With data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Then analyzed and checked the validity of the data through extended research, diligent research and triangulation, namely source triangulation, technique and time triangulation. The results showed that (1) the learning of the at-Tartil method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at TPQ Wildaanul Muslimin includes policies on the time of taking volume and al-Qur'an classes, classical learning models, individual learning models, rhythm in learning process, daily evaluation, and level evaluation. (2) Supporting factors in learning the at-Tartil method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an include the students' interest in learning the Qur'an, professional teachers, motivation for students, additional activities, good facilities and infrastructure and communication between teachers and guardians of students.

Abstract

Conflicts within families often arise when members have different political opinions, especially during election periods. Such conflicts can threaten family harmony and disrupt relationships between family members. This study aims to explore the impact of political dissent and elections on conflict in the family as well as strategies that can be used to maintain harmony in the face of such dissent. Qualitative research was conducted using a library review approach. Data were collected through a review of libraries related to the themes of conflicts caused by elections. Data analysis was conducted through a process of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that political disagreements and elections triggered family conflicts. These conflicts include communication tensions, emotional separation, and disagreements in decision making. Factors that influence the level of conflict include the intensity of disagreement, the inability to engage in dialogue constructively, and the influence of mass media. However, this study also found strategies that can help maintain harmony in the face of political disagreements in the family. These strategies include opening a respectful dialog, willingness to listen to, trying to understand the views of the other party, and focusing on shared values and goals. In addition, the use of reliable and critical sources of information can reduce conflicts that arise.

Abstract

This article discusses the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the discipline of students at SMAN 1 Pare, Kediri Regency. SMAN 1 Pare, Kediri Regency, has a very strategic location, which is in the middle of the city crowd and facilities owned by the Kediri Regency Government. So that it can have an influence on the ethics and morals of students. So it is necessary to guide and educate Islamic Religious Education teachers in schools in terms of worship, especially discipline in carrying out prayers and other religious activities so that students' spiritual values increase and have noble character. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach and data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study reveal that: First, several strategies have been applied by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the form of (a) habituation from Islamic Religious Education teachers; (b) student discipline; (c) setting a good examples; (d) Providing advice and motivation; (e) Routinely invite students to the prayer room. Second, the supporting factors are (a) the spirit of Islamic Religious Education teachers; (b) SKI extracurricular activities; (c) its location is close to the grand mosque; (d) many religious activities in schools; (e) students' self-awareness. Third, while the inhibiting factors are (a) a small prayer room; no student data collection; (c) lack of prayer equipment; (d) time constraints; (e) cannot pray in congregation at the same time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation and impacts of limited face-to-face learning on Fiqh subjects at MAN 3 Nganjuk. This research uses qualitative approach with the case study as its type of research. This research took place at MAN 3 Nganjuk. Data collection were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis used the Miles Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In order to check the validity of the data, it was done through extended observation, increased persistence, and triangulation. The results showed that: (1) The limited face-to-face learning process on Fiqh subjects at MAN 3 Nganjuk was carried out through rotation system while still applying the health protocol. (2) The positive impacts of limited face-toface learning including making it easier for both teachers and students to carry out learning, increasing students’ abilities and learning outcomes, and increasing students’ enthusiasm and motivation in learning. While the negative impacts include the lack of maximum learning activities due to limited learning duration, limited activities of students in learning, and the emergence of concerns about the spread of Covid-19 in the school environment.

Abstract

This journal article aims to conduct a theoretical analysis of Geertz's article entitled "Javanese Kyai as Cultural Broker." Geertz's writing became one of the important contributions in anthropological studies on religion and culture in Indonesia. Geertz explains the role of the Javanese kyai as a cultural broker in Javanese society. The theoretical analysis in this article includes a study of the main concepts introduced by Geertz, such as kyai, culture, and cultural brokers. Through a theoretical approach, this article investigates these concepts with reference to anthropological theories and other relevant studies. The aim was to gain a deeper understanding of the role of Javanese kyai as cultural brokers in Javanese society. The study found that Kyai as a cultural broker acts as a mediator between different cultural groups, facilitating understanding, dialogue, and exchange between Javanese community groups and foreigners, such as the Japanese and Western cultures brought by modernists and the Dutch. The role of Kyai as a cultural broker has changed in line with changes in Indonesia's sociocultural and political systems. To continue to exist, Kyai needs to combine religious and secular knowledge and be involved in the NU political party, which has a coordinated organizational structure from the central to the branch level.

Abstract

This study describes three concepts of Thomas Lickona's character education which are implemented with Sayyid Muhamad's thoughts in the book of tahliyah. This research seeks to answer how the concepts of knowing the good, desiring the good, and doing the good in the perspective of the book in our perspective are At-Tahliyah wa At-Targhib fi Atatarbiyah wa At-Tahdib. Data collection was carried out by researchers to obtain data about character education ideas contained in the book of Tahliyah using a descriptive qualitative analysis method with the type of literature review and using content analysis as a data analysis technique. The results of this study state that the characters that must be instilled in education include; first, honest, good manners, obey the rules, shyness, independence, and knowledge. Abstract

The Arabic language learning curriculum plays a very important role in the development of Arabic competence in learners. An effective and structured design of this curriculum can facilitate a continuous learning process, provide clear guidelines for instructors and students, and promote the attainment of desired learning goals. This paper describes several important aspects that need to be considered in the design of an Arabic learning curriculum. The several aspects that must be considered in the design of learning curriculum are curriculum design as a scientific discipline, student-oriented curriculum design, community-oriented curriculum design, and technological curriculum design. After knowing some of the aspects above, it will then be described how the design of the Arabic learning curriculum is applied. The research method used is to use qualitative descriptive technique procedures, namely research using qualitative data and then describing it to be able to produce a clear, precise and detailed description of a case studied in this case regarding the design of the Arabic language learning curriculum. The results obtained from this paper are Arabic learning curriculum design using curriculum design as a scientific discipline, student-oriented curriculum design, community-oriented curriculum design, technological curriculum design as long as it still includes 4 students' Arabic proficiency, namely listening ability, ability speaking, reading ability, and writing ability.

Abstract

This article reveals about the implementation and efforts to cultivate the spiritual intelligence of students through the practice of istighotsah. Istighotsah is practiced by Muslims as a medium to ask Allah for help from the dangers of the world that will plunge people into misleading paths and as human ta'aluq siroj to God. This research uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results reveal that the implementation of istighotsah is used as a medium of communication with the aim of asking for help from Allah, and submitting to Allah. In addition to getting closer to God, istighatsah also trains students to think positively, always be patient, istiqomah, and live life only expecting the pleasure of God. Thus, it will lead to behavior that leads to not getting the pleasure of God, such as immorality, too much love for material things, and so on.
