Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa berdasarkan indikator pemahaman matematis pada mata kuliah aljabar linear elementer materi ruang vektor, sub ruang vektor, dan vektor Euclidean. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian meliputi mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika fakultas tarbiyah dan keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar angkatan 2016 yang diduga mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep pada mata kuliah aljabar linear elementer. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes diagnostik dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika UIN Alauddin Makassar angkatan 2016 dalam menyelesaikan soal aljabar linear elementer ditinjau dari indikator kemampuan pemahaman matematis, mahasiswa tergolong cukup mampu pada indikator: (1) pemahaman mampu menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep, (2) menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai bentuk representasi matematika, (3) menggunakan, memanfaatkan dan memilih prosedur tertentu, dan (4) mengaplikasikan konsep/algoritma ke pemecahan masalah. Namun, mahasiswa tergolong tidak mampu pada indikator kemampuan memberi contoh dan bukan contoh. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pendidikan matematika UIN Alauddin Makassar angkatan 2016 pada mata kuliah Aljabar Linear Elementer dalam konsep ruang vektor, sub ruang vektor, dan ruang vektor Euclidean, yaitu faktor internal: kurangnya minat belajar, kurang fokus dalam belajar, motivasi belajar rendah, konsentrasi belajar rendah, kemampuan mengingat rendah, dan kurang rasa percaya diri. Faktor eksternal, yaitu mahasiswa kurang memahami maksud soal, mahasiswa lupa konsep aksioma, mahasiswa tidak tahu konsep aksioma, penggunaan gadget selama proses pembelajaran, dosen kurang memperhatikan mahasiswa selama proses pembelajaran, dan tidak adanya buku pegangan mahasiswa. AbstractThis article aims to determine the ability to understand student concepts based on indicators of mathematical understanding in elementary linear algebra courses in vector space, sub vector spaces, and euclidean vectors. This research used desciptive qualitative approach. Research subjects included students majoring in mathematics education at the tarbiyah faculty and the UIN Alauddin Makassar class of 2016 who were suspected of having difficulty understanding concepts in linear elementary algebra courses. The research instruments used were diagnostic tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the understanding ability of students majoring in mathematics education at UIN Alauddin Makassar class of 2016 in solving linear elementary algebra in terms of indicators of mathematical understanding ability, students classified as quite capable of indicators: (1) understanding is able to restate a concept, (2) present the concept in various forms of mathematical representation, (3) using, utilizing and choosing certain procedures, and (4) applying concepts / algorithms to problem solving. However, students are classified as not capable of the ability to set examples and not examples. The factors that influence the understanding of the concept of mathematics education student UIN Alauddin Makassar class of 2016 in the Linear Elementary Algebra in the concept of vector space, sub vector space, and Euclidean vector space, namely internal factors: lack of interest in learning, lack of focus in learning, motivation low learning, low concentration of learning, low ability to remember, and lack of confidence. External factors, namely students do not understand the purpose of the problem, students forget the concept of axioms, students do not know the concept of axioms, the use of gadgets during the learning process, lecturers pay less attention to students during the learning process, and the absence of student handbooks.

Abstract

AbstrakJenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar fisika terintegrasi Islam-sains yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif untuk peserta didik kelas VII MTs Guppi Samata Kab. Gowa. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model 4D yang terdiri atas define, design, development, dan disseminate. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan bahan ajar, dan angket respons peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VII.C dan VII.D di MTs Guppi Samata Kab.Gowa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,98. Bahan ajar memenuhi kriteria praktis dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 1,84. Respons peserta didik berada pada kategori positif sehingga memenuhi kriteria efektif. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar fisika terintegrasi Islam-Sains layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar kerena telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. AbstractThis type of research is development research. This study aims to develop integrated Islamic-science physics teaching materials that meet valid, practical and effective criteria for grade VII students of Guppi Samata, Gowa Regency. The research model used is the 4D model consisting of define, design, development, and disseminate. The research instruments used were validation sheets, observation sheets of the implementation of teaching materials, and questionnaires for students' responses to teaching materials. The samples in this study were students of class VII.C and VII.D in MTs Guppi Samata, Gowa Regency. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that teaching materials met very valid criteria with an average value of 0.98. Teaching materials meet practical criteria with an average value of 1.84. Student responses are in the positive category so that it meets the effective criteria. Then it can be concluded that the integrated physics teaching material of Islam-Science is appropriate to be used as a learning resource because it meets valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat efektivitas model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran question card di kelas VIII SMPN 1 Sanrobone dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa di kelas VIII  SMPN 1 Sanrobone. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental) dengan non-equivalent control grup design. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran question card dan kelas kontrol tidak dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran question card dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa nilai  (2-tailed)  atau  artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran question card dan kelas yang tidak diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran question card. Berdasarkan kesimpulan dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran question card  tidak efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. AbstractThis research aims to examine the effectiveness of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model which is equipped with Question Card learning media in promoting seventh grader’s understanding of mathematical concepts in SMPN 1 Sanrobone. In investigating the issue, this research used quasi experimental research with non-equivalent control group design. The research samples were selected using purposive sampling technique and were divided into two groups. The first group is an experimental class where Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model and Question Card learning media are implemented, while the second group is control class where Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model and Question Card learning media are not implemented. The results of hypothesis testing with significance rate of α = 0,05 shows that the value of  (2-tailed)  atau  . This further indicates that there is no difference in students’ understanding of mathematical concepts whether or not they are taught using Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model and Question Card learning media. Therefore, this research concludes that the implementation of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model and Question Card learning media is not effective in promoting seventh graders’ understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : 1) mengetahui  bagaimana kesiapan belajar dalam menghadapi ujian akhir pada peserta didik kelas IX MTs Ainus Syamsi, 2) mengetahui penghambat peserta didik dalam menghadapi ujian akhir pada peserta didik kelas IX MTs Ainus Syamsi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pada penelitian ini teknik pemilihan sumber data dilakukan dengan purposive sampling yaitu maximum variation sampling. Penarikan sampel yang dilakukan dengan memilih subjek berdasarkan kriteria spesifik yang ditetapkan peneliti. Peneliti melakukan wawancara mendalam untuk menemukan informasi lebih jelas mengenai peserta didik yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan orang terdekat, teman kelas ataupun dari guru. Subjek yang diteliti adalah Si N dan Si A. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa peserta didik Si N siap menghadapi ujian. Si N menyiapkan diri dalam menghadapi ujian sebagaimana dalam tiga hukum belajar throndike, sedangkan peserta didik Si A kurang siap menghadapi ujian, hal tersebut dikarenakan karena Si A kurang mempersiapkan diri baik fisik maupun mental dalam menghadapi ujian, Si A sangat jarang masuk sekolah, ia sering bolos dan jarang melakukan latihan dalam menghadapi ujian. Selain itu, keretakan hubungan rumah tangga orang tuanya yang mengakibatkan Si A merasa tidak diperdulikan sehingga tidak menyiapkan diri dalam belajar dan menghadapi ujian. AbstractThe objective of this study is to : 1) find out how the readiness of learning in facing the final examination in class IX MTs Ainus Syamsi students, 2) know the inhibitors of students in facing the final examination in class IX MTs Ainus Syamsi students. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. In this study, the technique of selecting data sources is done by purposive sampling, namely maximum variation sampling. Sampling is done by selecting subjects based on specific criteria set by researcher. Researcher conducted in-depth interviews to find clearer information about students who became the sample of research. In-depth interview are conducted with close friends, classmates or teachers. The subject studied were student N and student A. The results of the study were obtained that student N student is ready for the examination. N prepared himself for the examination as in three Thorndike study laws, while student A are less ready to face the examination, it is because student A is less prepared both physically and mentally in facing in facing examination, student A is rarely in school often misses and rarely examination. In addition, his parents’ broken family ties caused student A to feel left out and unable to prepare for his studies and to face examination.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal ujian akhir sekolah mata pelajaran matematika pada tahun ajaran 2015/2016 SMP Negeri 36 Makassar dilihat dari segi tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, dan keefektifan pengecoh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat evaluasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan sampel sebanyak 258 lembar jawaban siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan bantuan aplikasi Anates versi 4.09. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:  (1) Berdasarkan kriteria tingkat kesukaran diperoleh soal sangat mudah 2 butir (5%), sedang 24 butir (60%), sukar 12 butir (30%), dan sangat sukar 2 butir (5%). (2) Berdasarkan kriteria daya beda diperoleh soal sangat jelek 3 butir (7,5%), jelek 12 butir (30%), cukup 14 butir (35%), dan baik 11 butir (27,5%). (3) Berdasarkan keefektifan pengecoh diperoleh 28 butir (70%) kategori sangat baik, 9 butir (22,5%) kategori baik, dan 3 butir (7,5%) kategori buruk. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa  15 butir (37,5%) soal berkualitas baik, 16 butir (40%) soal berkualitas kurang baik, dan 9 butir (22,5%) soal berkulitas jelek. Butir soal yang berkualitas baik dapat dimasukkan ke bank soal, butir soal kurang baik dapat direvisi, dan butir soal yang jelek diganti dengan membuat soal baru. AbstractThis study aims to determine the quality of mathematics final exam items in the 2015/2016 academic year 36 Makassar Junior High School in terms of the level of difficulty, different power, and effectiveness of deceivers. This research is an evaluation study with a quantitative descriptive approach. The study was conducted with a sample of 258 student answer sheets. The data collection technique used is the documentation technique. The data obtained were analyzed with the help of the Anates application version 4.09. The results showed that: (1) Based on the difficulty level criteria, 2 items (5%), 24 items (60%) were very easy, 12 items (30%), and 2 items (5%) were very difficult. (2) Based on the different power criterion, it is obtained a very poor problem of 3 items (7.5%), 12 items bad (30%), enough 14 items (35%), and good 11 items (27.5%). (3) Based on the effectiveness of the deception, there were 28 items (70%) in the very good category, 9 items (22.5%) in the good category, and 3 items (7.5%) in the bad category. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that 15 items (37.5%) of good quality questions, 16 items (40%) of poor quality questions, and 9 items (22.5%) of poor quality questions. Good quality items can be entered into the question bank, bad items can be revised, and bad items replaced with new questions.
