Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan salah satu implementasi dari penerapan KKN- PPM  yang bertujuan untuk dapat memotivasi kemauan belajar siswa, melatih keterampilan siswa dalam pengerjaan soal ujian nasional berbasis nasional(USBN), menambah wawasan serta pengalaman baru, melatih kemandirian dan keaktifan siswa dengan adanya bimbingan belajar. Pembahasan soal ujian nasional berbasis nasional (USBN) difokuskan pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, IPA dan Matematika. Kegiatan KKN- PPM adalah memberikan Program Bimbingan Belajar dalam Pembahasan Soal USBN yaitu siswa kelas VI SDN 05 Saparan, Desa Kumba, Kecamatan Jagoi Babang, Kelurahan Bengkayang yang berjumlah 13 orang dengan 6 laki-laki dan 7 orang perempuan. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil dari kegiatan KKN-PPM ini menunjukkan bahwa BIMBEL yang  peneliti lakukan dapat dikatakan sudah berhasil dengan metode dan strategi yang santai dan menyenangkan sehingga didapatkan respon positif dari siswa yang terkait di dalam pembelajaran bimbingan belajar ini.

Abstract

Desa Gresik termasuk  wilayah  yang berbatasan langsung Negara Malaysia, sehingga warga negara dituntut untuk memiliki loyalitas demi menjaga keutuhan Negara Republik Indonesia. Namun, kondisi sosial-ekonomi di perbatasan yang terpuruk mengakibatkan masyarakat setempat tergantung kepada negara tetangga. Pada gilirannya, ketergantungan kepada negara tetangga itu mengakibatkan rasa cinta tanah air masyarakat tersebut mengalami penurunan.Masyarakat Desa Gresik lebih banyak berinteraksi dengan warga di negara tetangga dan terpesona oleh uang ringgit, siaran TV dan radio, akses telepon dan transportasi, serta modal usaha yang lebih mudah diperoleh dari Malaysia. Adanya Permasalahan tersebut perlu adanya sosialisasi untuk menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air yang ditanamkan pada generasi muda terutama di daerah perbatasan.Implementasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi beberapa metode yaitu sesi sosialisasi rasa cinta tanah air yang diisi dengan pemaparan materi, sesi penayangan Film bernuansa Bela Negara, dan Sesi Kuis. Kegiatan ini diharapakan dapat menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air masyarakat desa Gresik.

Abstract

The activities dedicated to the community for environmental management and empowerment of communities through the development of tourism potential are implemented by partnering up the PKK suport team, the domestic chairman and the weal community.  It aims to give understanding, khowledge, and empower societies to realize a society conscious of a tourist environment that must be maintained and preserved.  These environmental management and community empowerment activities are done by methods of speech, discussion, question-and-answer, and demonstration. The benefits of this activity includes; (1) Together people build tourist areas (2) It grows and increases people’s sense of and cares for the beautiful of Batu Burung, (3) To encourage people to participate in the preservation of Batu Burung,  (4) Assisting the goverment program to promote tourist areas aspecially Batu Burung sites that are still not widely known by outside Sedau society, and (5) provides services that can enable visitors to know where Batu Burung is located and provide products fo garbage diposal on Batu Burung Beach..

Abstract

Sexual harassment is still a taboo subject. This causes many victims of sexual harassment who do not dare to report to others or to the authorities. The number of cases of sexual harassment that occurred, both in the neighborhood and at school, it is important to give a good understanding of sexual harassment and how to avoid it. In response to this, the community service team needs to provide counseling about violence that occurs to children, how to communicate well with children, how to learn language in children, and the importance of conveying reproductive health to children properly. So that this socialization activity has a major role to prevent and provide knowledge and understanding of toilet training, personal areas, and sexual violence so as to prevent sexual harassment. The method used is socialization and documentation, this socialization activity was carried out on Friday, 18 January 2019 and took place in the village of Jagoi Babang. A facilitator must be very careful in the process of socialization, given the very heterogeneous conditions of the community, both the level of education, character, acceptance and understanding of the community. Socialization that is carried out to prevent sexual abuse especially in the area of private organs (sensitive areas) of the body is an important thing that should have been introduced to children from an early age. This is the duty of parents to be able to convey this information in good language and easily understood by children, because of the rampant incidence of sexual abuse, especially in children, whether boys or girls.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase teacher understanding and knowledge of the importance of learning media in learning activities in elementary schools (SD). In addition, this program also trains SDN 9 Singkawang teachers in designing and making instructional videos using powerpoint-based media. The specific target to be achieved is to increase teacher creativity in designing and using video learning media so that learning in schools will be more contextual. The method used in the implementation of this Community Service is in the form of counseling, training, and question and answer methods. This activity begins with observations in schools and related institutions / agencies in the first week. This was followed by core activities at SDN 9 Singkawang. The core activity is in the form of socialization activities about making instructional videos using powerpoint-based media for elementary school teachers at SDN 9 Singkawang. The target audience in this activity were elementary school teachers at SDN 9 Singkawang. This activity has been able to increase teacher knowledge about the urgency of instructional media and the development of forms of instructional media, especially those related to technological developments. This activity has also been able to improve the ability of teachers to operate computers or laptops, including loading powerpoint media and combining them.
