Abstract

The development of the building material industry sector is currently in line with the growth of regional infrastructure and physical facilities in Surabaya. The objective of this study  is to analyze the effect of trust, commitment, information sharing and information quality on supply chain management performance of building material retailers in Surabaya. The sample studied was 134 owners of building material retailers in Surabaya. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression using SPSS 20. The results show that trust, commitment, information sharing, and information quality significantly influence partially and simultaneously on supply chain management performance of building material retailers in Surabaya.

Abstract

Peningkatan keselamatan kapal adalah niscaya, mengingat tujuannya sebagai moda angkutan penyeberangan. Melalui metode analisis SWOT terlihat bahwa jumlah kapal yang tersedia memang banyak, namun rata-rata usianya sudah tua sehingga diperlukan pemeriksaan secara periodik. Pemeriksaan ini wajib dilakukan agar tidak memengaruhi kesempurnaan kapal demi keselamatan penumpang. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan Strategi S-O yaitu strategi pemeriksaan kapal secara periodik setiap tahun selama 4 tahun.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze leadership, and attachment to the effectiveness of the work of the crew of PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (PELNI). The research survey was conducted on 80 ship crew by groups of observation units sampling technique (cluster observation units) or Cluster Systematic Sampling of the entire population of 377 ship crew on ships anchored at the Port of Tanjung Priok. This study uses quantitative approach with path analysis method. The results show that leadership style, and attachment has a positive and direct effect to work effectiveness. The study is expected to benefit PELNI in a way that through the leadership style of its officers, the employee's attachment will improve the working performance of each ship crew. The novelty of this research is on the application of employee engagement model and the effectiveness of the work of the ship crew on the national shipping industry. The outcome of this study is that any changes on the ship officers’ leadership style quality and the attachment will increase directly to the work effectiveness of PELNI's ship crew.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation of provisions of the domestic air transport regulations provided in the 2009 Civil Aviation Act. The method is a library research that study the scheduled air transportation including the requirement of the establishment of airlines; capital of air transport business entities, aircraft ownership and operation requirements, share holder composition, bank guarantee requirements, aviation human resources; tarif’s regulations including passenger’s tariff, passengers’ protection, best practices; non-scheduled air transportation; general aviation and air transportation pioneer has been fully implemented and compliances with the airlines. It is concluded that the provision of air transport regulation provided in the Civil Aviation Act of 2009 has been fully implemented and compliances with the airlines in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) and the use of information system on the Flight Safety in the Indonesian Air Navigation Services Organization both partially and simultaneously. The research uses quantitative methods, and the data are analyzed using linear regression, simple correlation both partially and simultaneously and path analysis. The result shows; implementation of Safety Management System (X1) as measured by the Flight Safety (Y) has a positive and significant contribution on the level of Flight Safety.  The amount of the application contribution of Safety Management System that directly contributes to the Flight Safety is 35.4%, so the research hypothesis which states that the Safety Management System application directly impacts significantly on Aviation Safety is accepted; the use of Information Systems (X2) as measured by the Flight Safety (Y) has a positive and significant contribution on the level of Flight Safety. The use of information systems contributions that directly contributes to aviation safety is 38.4%, so the hypothesis which states that the use of information system directly affects significantly the flight safety is acceptable; the total effect of simultaneous application of Safety Management System (X1) and the use of Information Systems (X2) contribute significantly to the Flight Safety (Y) as much as 66.3%. The remaining 33.7% is the influence of the other factors such as refresher and development training for air navigation personnel, aviation navigation equipment renewal and observation flight

Abstract

Economic Value Added (EVA) is formulated by Net income (Operating Profit after deducting tax), minus with the total cost of capital for the current year. This study aims to examine PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II performances’ with EVA. The data is taken from 2015 to 2017. This study uses secondary data taken from the site of the company PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II. The data is analyzed descriptively. The company's performance is calculated from Annual Report such as income statement, balance sheet and note to financial statement. Data Collection Procedure is the data of companies’ financial statements taken from the PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II website as well as obtained from www.idx.co.id. The EVA result of this study indicates that the financial performance of PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II in 2015 and 2017 is Rp. 246,088,298,072 and Rp. 295,797,566,500 or positive value. This means it can be interpreted that the company has a healthy performance in accomplishing the shareholders expectations and lenders. In contrary, the financial performance of PT (Persero) Angkasa Pura II in 2016 using EVA gives a value of Rp. - 75,766,762,046 or negative value which means that the company has an unhealthy performance in 2016 in achieving their expectations.

Diresmikannya Jalan Tol Cipularang pada Mei 2005, ternyata, membuat perubahan terhadap pola pergerakan penumpang dari Jakarta-Bandung, atau sebaliknya. Dengan menggunakan teknik analisis faktor, maka, tampak dengan jelas betapa para penumpang menginginkan keamanan, kenyamanan dan waktu tempuh yang memadai.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to conduct a review of the existing navigation system at the airport and integrate to the flight navigation system that has been developed by the Ministry of Research and Technology to be applied to Airports in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative research method through literature study, literature, benchmarking. Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) is a system designed to replace radar functions in air space management for civilian transport, can serve as a substitute or for traditional radar-based aircraft surveillance supplements. The use of ADS-B was recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in May 2006. Using ADS-B, detection would be better and more accurate than when using a radar system where existing radar systems can not detect unobstructed aircraft . The use of the ADS-B system in Indonesia began in 2006, in partnership with SITA and Thales. In this regard, Indonesia has 30 (thirty) earth stations ready for operation. In general, both flight monitoring systems are very helpful for APP operators (Approach and departure control) in terms of providing a picture of flight traffic conditions around the airport.

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to find out the effect of loading unloading and clearance in/out service preparation of the loading unloading productivity to the performance of Makassar Conventional Port. The problem of the paper was the low performance of loading unloading productivity in Makassar Conventional Port due to nature resources, facilities, and human resources. The paper used quantitative method using path analysis. There were 60 samples taken. The result of the paper partially shows that there is a significant and direct effect of loading unloading productivity to the port performance of general cargo ships in Makassar Conventional Port.

Abstract

The aim of this research is analyzing correlation between professionalism and service quality against the customer satisfaction. This research applied descriptive quantitative by using path analysis and regression analysis. This result shown us: 1) there is positive direct effect between professionalism against customer satisfaction. It shows that employee professionalism has positive impact to increase customer satisfaction. 2) there is positive direct effect between service quality against customer satisfaction. It shows that a good service quality will contribute positive impact to increase customer satisfaction. 3) there is positive direct effect between professionalism against service quality. This effect will show that implementation of professionalism has positive impact for better service quality.
