The survey method was used as a way to collect primary data and distribute questionnaires to 30 respondents or Go Express customers as research samples. To solve the problem the author uses 2 (two) methods, namely, the forst method of collecting data in the form of questionnaires and library data. Both methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determinant coeffient, and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis partially have a positive and significant influence between the variables of Goods Distribution Service (X1) on Brand Go Express Customers Demand at PT Aerojasa Cargo Jakarta (Y). As far the variable implementation of Procedure Branch (X2) Against Customer Demand for Brand Go Express at PT Aerojasa Cargo Jakarta (Y). Based on the results of empirical evidence, it simultaneously shows that the variable Goods Distribution Service (X1) and application of Procedure Branch (X2) have a joint effect on Towards Brand Go Customer Request at PT Aerojasa Cargo Jakarta (Y).

Abstract

The existence of Port Jangkar has a very important role in supporting economic activities and equitable development in Situbondo since water transport is one of the modes of transportation that connects the island of Java and Madura Island. This study uses a quantitative approach. The theory used is proposed by Supranto (1990). The results showed that the productivity of freight traffic crossings serving Jangkar-Kalianget experienced decrease in revenue both passenger and goods transport by an average of 16, 6 percent. Based on the results of forecasting, demand for transportation, Break Even Point (BEP) load factor of 21 percent was achieved in 2011. In 2012, the company suffered losses in terms of transportation operating income due to declining productivity of vessel transport. In 2012 cruise companies suffered losses due to large vessel operating expenses exceeded the income from the vessel (BOK> Revenue) with the operational costs of Rp297,763,505; and vessels revenue of Rp2,709,255,500. Thus, in 2012 it was needed to subsidize the sustainability of Ferry transportation, because the Ferry transport activities cross Jangkar-Kalianget- Sapudi Island still has the potential transport demand and still needed the surrounding community.

Abstract

The increase in number of passengers is influenced by schedule, price, and improved infrastructure and facilities. The study aims to identify the effect of new schedule and price on service quality.  The study used non probability sampling method to acquire data from passengers. Regression was used to analyze the data collected. Hypothesis test show coesfficient of schedule towards service quality is 0.568 while tariff affects service quality with a coefficient of 0.535. The study suggests improvement on scheduling and tariff.

Abstract

Airport is a vital subsystem in the air transport system which has an important and strategic role in smoothening air traffic, so that an airport must be designed to be always ready in all situations and conditions to serve airline flights securely, orderly, smoothly, and quickly. The frequent delay faced by Indonesian domestic scheduled airlines is not fully caused by internal factor of the companies. Instead, it can be caused by the airport factor. The problems faced by airports in Indonesia which have impacts on the performance of flight punctuality among other things are capacity, slot time, quality of flight navigation devices, accessibility, professionalism of  airport and ATC human resources, infrastructure, facilities, equipment, and the human resources handling security and safety of flights in airport. This article recommends that an in-depth study should be carried out to map the interrelations between the airport factor in the flight delay related to facilities integration and the airport authority in the flight activities in Indonesia.

Para transit transportation in many areas in Indonesia including in Jakarta also play an important role in supporting the transportation system as a whole. In fact, in Jakarta there are still many passengers are dependent to this mode of transportation. Therefore, there is a need to conduct a study focusing in how this sub-urban transportation system take its role as a connecting hub from rural areas to the urban areas. Using of qualitative and quantitative methods, data analysis clearly shows how the suburb public paratransit carries passengers (named KWK) in East Jakarta, in this case PGC- Mekarsarui route,is valued important by the community and it has been running well.
