Abstract

In education, an exemplary and character teacher at school has a real impact on the child's personality in the future. Character building is a collective commitment of the Indonesian people to face today's global demands. The implementation of character education is a way to build a more moral education. The purpose of writing this article was to describe and analyze the exemplary teachers in implementing character education. This article had analyzed and reviewed the works of literature that were related to the topic. The model used was a library research approach. The results examined that the implementation of character education in schools is the responsibility of all school members. However, teachers play a more important role in achieving the program, the success of character education in schools depends on the extent to which the teachers can be a model for their students. Creating a character student will need a character teacher as well.

Abstract

Learning is the activity of delivering knowledge given by educators to students which aims to achieve educational targets. From this learning activity can be determined whether or not the goals of education are achieved. The use of inappropriate methods can cause problems during learning activities. The material that has been delivered by the educator will be in vain because students cannot digest the lesson effectively. The use of the recitation method in learning activities can increase the effectiveness of learning. The purpose of this study is to explain the use of the recitation method or the most effective assignment if applied in MTs Madrasatul Qur'an because it trains students to think and be responsible when carrying out the obligations presented by the educator. Besides directing students to think and be responsible for using the recitation method, it also trains students' independence so that students become more active because they seek or explore knowledge on their own without assistance from the educators. So that the learning objectives are easily achieved and will produce quality learning. In this study the approach used is descriptive qualitative. And the type of research used is field research or field research and uses qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the recitation method can improve the quality of Fiqh learning, it can be seen from the students who are very enthusiastic about participating in learning activities and the increase in the value of student learning outcomes can be seen from the student assignment scores above the KKM score.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the history and development of education at the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Makkah period, To find out the education system at the time of the Prophet Muhammad. Makkah period, to find out how the methods of education at the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Mecca period and to find out the educational values ​​contained in the da'wah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW during the Mecca period. The research method that is relevant to this context is to use a qualitative research method with a contextual reflective approach, namely the theory found in historical books and verses of the Koran and the Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. analyzed or interpreted according to the problem under study. While the results of this study are that, Islamic education has existed since the Prophet Muhammad. alive and it is he who laid the foundation with many examples to take. It can be seen from the production of Islamic generations, as well as found a noble civilization as recorded in world history about the glory of Islamic civilization changing the world from darkness to true enlightenment.

Abstract

In the learning process, the teacher must be able to organize every learning activity and respect students as subjects who have talents and abilities. As a consequence of this, the learning process must also be developed through individual learning activities in order to obtain maximum learning outcomes. However, in the implementation there are still students who do not dare to ask the teacher when they find difficulties in doing assignments, there are students who have never been guided by the teacher in doing assignments, there are teachers who do not guide students in learning, there are students whose learning outcomes do not reach the KKM. even though they have received guidance from the teacher, and there are students whose learning outcomes reach the KKM even though they do not receive guidance from the teacher during the learning process. For this reason, the author intends to carry out research on the effect of the individual approach on student learning outcomes at the 018 Gemilang Jaya State Elementary School, Batang Tuaka District. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the individual approach, student learning outcomes and the effect of individual approaches on student learning outcomes at the 018 Gemilang Jaya State Elementary School, Batang Tuaka District. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The instruments used are interviews, and observations.

Abstract

Globalization gave birth to a new paradigm for human life that gave rise to both negative and positive sides. Most of them are trapped in the negative side of globalization. The negative paradigms are liberalism, secularism, individualism, materialism, hedonism which causes humans to be far from the spirit of religion and norms. Finally, he experienced a drought; spiritual and moral crisis that has an impact on his social life. The purpose of this study is to analyze the thoughts of Thomas Aquinas, who is a famous realist philosophy figure about spiritual and moral education as a solution to the problems of society in the era of disruption and its relevance to Islamic education. Aquinas' spiritual education is a process to educate people to know their God by optimizing their minds through the meaning of the five paths offered by Aquinas. Then, Aquinas' moral education is the process of forming behavior in accordance with God's instructions as an effort to achieve true happiness by always emphasizing actions that are in accordance with God's norms. The relevance of Aquinas' spiritual and moral education with Islamic education is that Islamic education is also a process to educate people to become obedient individuals to God and individuals who uphold moral values ​​for their social life. Spiritual and moral aspects are a priority in Islamic education in addition to the knowledge aspect.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this writing is how the concept of character education according to the Qur'an and Hadith? While the goal is to know the concept of character education that exists in the Qur'an and Hadith. This type of research is library research, the data sources used are primary and secondary data sources with deductive and inductive thinking. How to collect data with documentation study and analyze with the method of Tafsir maudhu'i and sarah Hadith. The results found in the verses of the Qur'an about the concept of character education are found in surah as-Shaff verses 2-3, surah Lukman verses 12-14 and surah at-Taubah verse 119. While the Hadith related to the concept of character education is Hadith about hypocrisy, Hadith devotion to both parents and Hadith about honesty, the three Hadiths are narrated by Muttafaqun 'alaih. The concept of character education according to the verses of the Qur'an above we must be istiqomah and unity between words and deeds, be grateful to Allah SWT, believe in Allah SWT by not associating with Him, devotion to parents, honest, avoid hypocritical traits to himself and others, while the concept of character education according to the Hadith we must not lie, betray, do not keep promises, but we must respect, love and be honest to anyone whose goal is to make a perfect human being.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penulisan jurnal ini adalah bagaimana kehidupan sakinah dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an, apa syarat-syarat menggapai kehidupan sakinah dan apa tanda-tanda seseorang mendapat (menggaapai) kehidupan sakinah. Sedangkan tujuan dalam penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketiga rumusan masalah di atas. Metodologi penulisan ini bersifat kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian pustaka, dengan menggunakan cara berpikir induktif dan deduktif. Sumber data menggunakan primer dan sekunder dengan content analysis. Hasil temuan dalam penulisan ini menjelaskan bahwa kehidupan sakinah dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an menurut surat at-taubah ayat 6 kita tidak boleh berbangga terhadap kuantitas yang kita miliki tanpa disertai kualitas, sedangkan surat at-taubah ayat 40 menjelaskan bahwa kita tidak boleh takut/gentar terhadap cekaman orang lain, walaupun kita harus berjuang yang sangat melelahkan, asalkan kita meyakini bahwa Allah SWT selalu bersama kita, maka kehidupan sakinah akan kita gapai. Syarat-syarat menggapai sakinah secara global ada dua yaitu, Pertama: Seseorang harus mengosongkan hatinya (kalbunya) dari segala sifat-sifat tercela (maksiat bathin), Kedua : Seseorang harus mengedepankan sifat-sifat kepujian/akhlak terpuji (ta’at bathin).Tanda bahwa seseorang telah mendapat sakinah adalah orang-orang yang berjalan di muka bumi dengan rendah hati, dan mengucapkan kata-kata yang mengandung keselamatan dan juga tanda bahwa seseorang telah mendapat sakinah adalah orang-orang yang bersedia mendahulukan kepentingan orang lain di atas kepentingan pribadinya, walaupun dia sendiri berada dalam kesulitan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of experience and professional competence on teacher performance in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta, Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru. This research is field research, using a quantitative approach. research respondents amounted to 36 teachers. Data collection techniques using documentation, observation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression formula. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of experience on teacher performance with a t value of 3.227 > t table (2.034) and a value of f (0.003 < 0.05), it can be concluded that experience has a significant effect on teacher performance. There is a professional influence on teacher performance with a t-count value of 9,024 ttable (2,034) and a f value (0.000 <0.05), it can be concluded that teacher professional competence has a significant effect on teacher performance. And there is an effect of experience and professional competence on the performance of private Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers, Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru, obtained the value of F arithmetic > F table that is (192.063> 2.034) with a significance value of <0.05, which is 0.000. It can be concluded that the experience and professional competence of teachers have a significant effect. on teacher performance.

Abstract

The most important issue of education is related to quality, especially since global surveys still place Indonesia in an unsatisfactory position. This condition makes the government have to think harder to advance education in this country. Efforts to improve quality have become a national priority, among others, by setting eight national standards, which can be measured through an internal quality assurance system. This study aims to see the achievement of SNP at the education unit level, in order to make improvements to the achievement of quality that is still low. The method used is a qualitative approach with survey and observation methods. The results showed that MTsN 4 Pasaman Barat achieved 86.03% of the SNP component. The standard of content is the highest standard of achievement, and the standard of infrastructure is the lowest standard that can be achieved. In addition, there are five standard sub-components that are below expectations, namely (1) the implementation of the learning process, (2) the competence of the head of madrasah, (3) ownership of complete and proper supporting facilities and infrastructure, (4) cross-subsidy services, and (5) the capacity of madrasah capacity. Through this research, it will be easier to determine the direction of improvement in the future.

Abstract

Al-Quran Hadith subjects in it contain faith in Allah, as well as how to behave that reflects good faith in the daily environment of students, the behavior of someone who loves the Qur'an and much more. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The data are descriptive in nature, namely in the form of symptoms that can be categorized or in other forms such as in the form of words, pictures, documents during the research process. Data collection techniques used are interviews, and documentation. Then the existing data was analyzed by going through several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Students who little by little can read the Koran at school, practice the importance of courtesy towards their elders. Study earnestly in their TPA how to read the Quran properly. The benchmark for success in delivering Al-Quran Hadith material is that there are several factors, namely the teacher being an example for his students, the teacher getting used to smiling, greeting, and greeting, the teacher also getting used to praying on time, throwing garbage in its place.
