Abstract

This study examines values of character education as stated in QS. Ali-Imran verses 102-104 included in the curriculum of Darul Arqam Dasar for Muhammadiyah Student Association (MSA). It should be emphasized that MSA is one of autonomous Muhammadiyah organizations with noble duties and responsibilities. The glory of these responsibilities may be traced through the objectives of MSA—namely: "Striving for Establishing Muslim Academics with Virtuous Morals in Line with the Goals of Muhammadiyah". The selection of QS. Ali-Imran 102-104 as the key value of character education in the curriculum is not without reason, since verse 102 of the surah emphasizes the necessity of believers to pass away as a Muslim. This is in accordance with the spirit of MSA—namely: to construct Muslim academics with noble values. Whereas verse 104 of the letter constitutes a basis for organization, group and bond. This study aims to: 1) examine and describe the concept of character education in the Qur'an surah Ali-Imran verses 102-104, 2) identify the compatibility between the curriculum of Darul Arqam Dasar and MSA with the key value underlying character education based on QS. Ali-Imran verses 102-104. Meanwhile, the method employed a literature study with all the data obtained from books, documents and other written materials.

Abstract

Education has become a "trademark" in Muhammadiyah movement, as a concrete form of the role of Muhammadiyah in empowering Muslims and the intellectual minds of the nation. Discussion of Muhammadiyah-based education cannot be separated from the figure of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, involving the focus of ultimate truth to capture what was implicit in Al-Manaar's interpretation so that although he did not have a western education, he was able to open the gate of rationality through the teachings of Islam itself, which was called ijtihad. By rejecting taqlid. KH. Ahmad Dahlan can be regarded as a "model" in the generation of revival which is a "central point" of a movement that appears to overcome the challenges facing Islam in the form of backwardness and stagnation in the Islamic educational system. Unlike a number of national figures in his days who were more concerned with political and economic issues, K.H. Ahmad Dahlan devoted himself fully in the field of education. Based on this description, this study aimed to investigate the concept of Islamic education from KH. Ahmad Dahlan’s perspectives. In particular, the direction of this study was to understand the goals of Islamic education according to K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, the conceptualisation of Islamic education curriculum according to K. Ahmad Dahlan, as well as the methods of Islamic educational practice according to K. AH Ahmad Dahlan. The study was library research with the technique for data collection including documentation conducted through looking for data about things or variables in the form of notebook transcripts, newspapers, magazines, inscriptions, minutes, meetings, agendas, and so on. Data analysis were carried out through descriptive analysis. The findings of this study revealed that the perspectives of KH. Ahmad Dahlan about Islamic education: first, the aim of Islamic education is to maintain the purity of human beings; second, the curriculum is integral; third, and the method of hiwar/repetition, balance and proportionality between theory and practice was used.

Abstract

There is a specific relation between Islamic Education and Insan Kamil. A system and education are laid out well will be able to give birth to quality human spiritual or temporal essence of a man. This study aimed to see how soft skills can shape the character of students. The method used in this research is qualitative. The results showed that the development of soft skills in Muhammadiyah University of Jember there are five (5) types of development activities, namely (1) the group reasoning and science, (2) a group of talents, interests and abilities, (3) groups of well-being, (4) a group of social concern, (5) group support activities ?. In carrying out these activities Muhammadiyah University of Jember adopts an integrated curriculum, which combines the basic curriculum of higher education with a curriculum of AlIslam and Kemuhammadiyahan. The purpose of the implementation of the activities are integrated with kuriukulum Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan is to maximize the academic potential, non academic, and spiritual students, so there is a balance between hard skills and soft skills are imbued with the spirit of the values that embodied human character plenary, in other terms referred to as a perfect man.. Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan amanat yang harus dikenalkan dari generasi ke generasi berikutnya. Oleh karena itu untuk tercapainya tujuan pendidikan dan pengajaran, peran guru sangat menentukan sehingga guru menjadi salah satu faktor yang paling menentukan berhasilnya proses pembelajaran. Guru juga mempunyai peran yang sangat urgen yaitu untuk mengarahkan dan membentuk perilaku atau kepribadian anak didiknya, baik didalam sekolah maupun diluar sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: Mengetahui Peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai pembimbing, motifator dan faktor pendukung serta penghambat dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa di SMP Negeri 1 pakem Bondowoso. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang menghasilkan data naturalistik berupa penjelasan yang bersifat alamiah. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan metode analisisnya menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan reflektif thinking. Kemudian data yang telah terkumpul tersebut dianalisis melalui empat langkah yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, membuat kesimpulan (verifikasi). Dan uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik Trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru PAI sebagai pembimbing dan motivator dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Pakem sudah memberikan pencegahan dengan cara mengoptimalkan kegiatan agama untuk memberikan kegiatan positif diharapkan dengan pengetahuan tentang keilmuan PAI serta intensitas beribadah dapat tercermin dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sedangkan untuk mengatasi siswa yang terlanjur bermasalah, dengan di bantu guru BK dilakukan pendekatan khusus untuk diberikan binaan rohani dan bimbingan konseling

Abstract

Al-Quran Hadith subjects in it contain faith in Allah, as well as how to behave that reflects good faith in the daily environment of students, the behavior of someone who loves the Qur'an and much more. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The data are descriptive in nature, namely in the form of symptoms that can be categorized or in other forms such as in the form of words, pictures, documents during the research process. Data collection techniques used are interviews, and documentation. Then the existing data was analyzed by going through several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Students who little by little can read the Koran at school, practice the importance of courtesy towards their elders. Study earnestly in their TPA how to read the Quran properly. The benchmark for success in delivering Al-Quran Hadith material is that there are several factors, namely the teacher being an example for his students, the teacher getting used to smiling, greeting, and greeting, the teacher also getting used to praying on time, throwing garbage in its place.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Paleran dengan objek pengabdian adalah para siswa di organisasi Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah (IPM) di sekolah tersebut. IPM merupakan Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah yang sangat penting keberadaannya bagi para siswa. Secara umum Organisasi Intra Sekolah memiliki fungsi untuk membentuk karakter para siswa agar menjadi sosok yang tangguh, berakhlakul karimah, kompetitif, nasionalis, memiliki jiwa sosial, serta mampu bekerjasama untuk menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Meskipun demikian, tidak jarang terjadi permasalahan yang menyebabkan perselisihan diantara para pengurus. Kondisi ini tentu tidak bisa dihindari mengingat bahwa para pengurus OSIS merupakan remaja yang memiliki emosi yang tidak stabil dan karakter individu berbeda-beda. Oleh sebab itu perlu adanya pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi para pengurus agar mereka lebih baik dalam mengelola organisasi mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pelatihan diberikan dalam rangka untuk memberikan pemaahaman kepada mereka tentang teori kepemimpinan dan keorganisasian. Sedangkan pendampingan dilakukan dalam rangka untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang mereka hadapi dalam organisasi. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada mereka tentang konsep kepemimpinan dan dasar keorganisasi bagi pengurus IPM, sehingga diharapkan mereka dapat benar-benar mengelola organisasi dengan baik. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan ini, para pengurus IPM semakin antusias dalam berorganisasi di sekolah

Abstract

Kader Muhammadiyah harus memiliki tiga kompetensi utama, yaitu kompetensi keagamaan, kompetensi kepemimpinan dan kompetensi akademik. Kompetensi tersebut idealnya menjadi kepribadian setiap kader Muhammadiyah, terutama bagi kader calon pimpinan. Kader calon pimpinan merupakan anggota inti persyarikatan Muhammadiyah yang mempunyai tugas dan tanggung jawab sebagai pelopor, pelangsung dan penyempurna Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah serta menggerakkan Muhammadiyah melalui jalur struktural. Kegiatan pelatihan dengan pola “Sekolah Kader Calon Pemimpin” bagi kader Muhammadiyah se Kabupaten Jember ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Meningkatkan kompetensi utama, yakni kompetensi keagamaan, kompetensi kepemimpinan, dan kompetensi akademik bagi kader Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Jember, (2) Meneguhkan ideologi bagi kader Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Jember untuk menyiapkan kader calon pimpinan. Pelatihan dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan sebanyak 12 kali pertemuan melalui kelas online, dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan latihan (tutorial). Hasil survey awal menunjukkan kompetensi utama mitra pengabdian pada tingkat sedang. Setelah pelatihan dengan pola sekolah kader calon pemimpin ini selesai, maka dilakukan survey akhir hasilnya menunjukkan setiap parameter kompetensi utama, yaitu kompetensi keagamaan, kepemimpinan, dan akademik mengalami peningkatan. Setiap akhir pertemuan dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi kepada calon kader pimpinan untuk mengukur capaian kompetensi pelatihan. Hasil pelatihan ini mampu memberi motivasi kepada peserta pelatihan yakni calon kader pimpinan dalam mencapai tujuan pelatihan yang telah ditetapkan.
