The stage of planning is followed by procurement. Its procurement during the pandemic is changing interpretations of its logical mechanism. This assessment presents a discussion of how the change of interpretation occurred during the pandemic. Drug planning is the basis for the implementation of the drug's logism-management mechanism. Careful planning makes it easier to procuring the drug without swelling in the budget, excess, and lack of medical supplies.

Abstract

Oedema occurs in nearly 80% of all pregnancies and can cause discomfort during pregnancy, including pain, heaviness, night cramps, paresthesia, dyspnea, skin thickening, and pigmentation. One of the non-pharmacological interventions to reduce Oedema is foot massage which is an intervention to eliminate or to minimize lower extremity Oedema during pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between foot massage and the degree of Oedema in third trimester pregnant women. This research was conducted from February 2023 to March 2023 in the Working Area of the Cijagang Community Health Center, Cianjur Regency. The results of the study obtained data that of the 30 respondents, most of the respondents experienced degree of Oedema 2 in 20 people (66.7%), Degree of Oedema 3 in 10 people (33.3%). The average degree of Oedema before foot massage was given was 4.67 with SD 0.795 and SE 0.145. The average degree of Oedema after being given foot massage was 2.40 with SD 0,279 and SE 0.050. The average difference in the degree of Oedema before (pre-test) and after (post-test) given foot massage was 2.27. The statistical test results obtained a p value = 0.0001 (p <0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between foot massage and the degree of Oedema. It is suggested to health workers, especially midwives, to provide health education and foot massage care as an effort to reduce physiological Oedema in pregnancy.

Data collection used a questionnaire, while analysis used chi square (α = 0.05). The results of univariate analysis showed that the majority of mothers had good knowledge (69.1%) and had received complete basic immunization (88.1%). The results of the bivariate analysis obtained a p value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between maternal knowledge and the completeness of basic immunization for babies.

This research is a quantitative study with the type of Pre-Experimental research. The research design used was the pre and post test one group design. Judging from the approach, this study uses a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study was accidental sampling. before being given health education regarding the management of burns in children with booklet media, the results obtained were a minimum value of 17 and a maximum of 22, with a mean of 19.95 and a standard deviation of 1.753. after being given health education regarding the management of burns in children using booklet media, the results obtained were a minimum score of 17 and a maximum of 22, with a mean of 21.03 and a standard deviation of 1.405. After the Wicoxon T-Test was carried out, the results showed a ρ value of 0.000 with a significant level of 0.05. Based on these results, a value of 0.000 0.05 was obtained, this means that there was a significant effect on the difference in the treatment given to each variable. it is hoped that health workers, especially midwives, will increase the provision of information and counseling about the importance of handling first aid for burns in children to parents, both when mothers come to the clinic and when midwives make field visits such as posyandu, so that later parents can have an Good knowledge of first aid for burns.

Abstract

Cataract is one of the leading causes of blindness in the world and in Indonesia. The prevalence of blindness due to cataracts increases annually by 0.1% of the total Indonesian population. Cataracts are caused by several risk factors. Based on this, early prevention efforts are needed to reduce the risk factors for cataract blindness. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of risk factors for cataract incidence based on the epidemiological triad, determine the relationship and magnitude of risk factors for cataract incidence. This type of research uses a literature review method of 16 journals consisting of 12 national journals and 4 international journals that discuss cataract risk factors. The results showed that risk factors were significantly associated with a p value of <0.05 with cataract incidence. Host risk factors are age ≥60 years, female gender, low education level, non-white race, genetic history (family cataract, diabetes mellitus, hypertension), and smoking habit. Based on agent exposure to ultraviolet light, and lack of antioxidant consumption are more at risk for cataract incidence. Then based on the environment, risk factors consist of climate, work outside the building, and low income levels. In conclusion, age, gender, education, race, genetic history (family cataract, diabetes mellitus, hypertension), smoking habit, ultraviolet light exposure, lack of antioxidant consumption, climate, occupation, and income level are significantly related and at risk for cataract incidence.

Abstract

Abstract Dysmenorrhea is pain in the lower abdomen that spreads to the waist and thighs. The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 64.25%, primary dysmenorrhea is 54.89%, and secondary dysmenorrhea is 9.36%. Dysmenorrhea can be overcome with non-pharmacological interventions, namely warm compresses. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of warm compresses in reducing dysmenorrhea pain in adolescent girls. The research method used quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The population was all adolescent girls who experienced primary dysmenorrhea on the second and third days. A total of 30 adolescent girls were divided into intervention and control groups consisting of 15 people per group. Univariate analysis describes the frequency and percentage distribution. Bivariate analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that most respondents before being given warm compresses in the intervention group were in the moderate pain scale category (73.3%) and after the mild category (100%). The results of the bivariate test for the intervention group showed a significance value of p value 0.000. Meanwhile, the control group before being given the pain scale intervention was in the moderate category (40%) and after the mild category (66.7%). The results of the bivariate test of the control group showed a significant p value of 0.083. The effectiveness of the treatment reduced the pain scale in the intervention group by 62% and the control group by 27%. Thus, the provision of warm compresses is more effective in reducing dysmenorrhea pain.

Abstract

Background: Breast milk production is the milk that comes out, marked by the release of colostrum during pregnancy and after delivery. The smooth production of breast milk is greatly influenced by psychological factors that need to be considered, such as anxiety. Research Objective: To determine the relationship between anxiety and the smooth flow of breast milk in post partum mothers in the Pasirjambu Community Health Center Working Area. Research Method: This study used a cross-sectional design. Data was collected in June 2024 from 36 respondents using total sampling techniques and questionnaires. Research Results: Smooth breast milk production is in the non-smooth category (83.3%). Statistical tests show that there is a significant relationship between the level of anxiety and the smooth flow of breast milk (p-value 0.000). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the level of anxiety and the smooth flow of breast milk in post partum mothers in the Pasirjambu Community Health Center Working Area. Suggestion: Post Partum mothers are expected to always be diligent in carrying out breast care starting before planning a pregnancy, to always be diligent in carrying out lactation massage after a few days of giving birth and to always be happy to reduce anxiety and facilitate the release of breast milk.
