Abstract

Bibliometric analysis is a quantitative technique for analyzing scientific literature that includes counting the number of publications, analyzing citations, and finding research trends. Bibliometric analysis is useful in understanding and classifying published documents and can explain ongoing developments and new research related to a specified topic. A mapping tool that can be used is VOSviewer to visualize bibliometric graphical maps. This article aims to provide direction or foundation for further research related to the vector error correction model (VECM). This research is a literature study using bibliometric data collection that focuses on topics related to the vector error correction model (VECM), the research steps taken are determining search keywords, initial search research, refining searches, compiling data statistics, and analyzing data. Data was obtained from the Scopus page in the range of 2009 to 2023. From the data, the most publications were obtained in 2023, totaling 585 publications. After visualization using VOSviewer, it is known that various terms in the vector error correction model (VECM) often appear and are related to other variables.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the potential electric energy contained in the by-products and processed waste of palm oil. Biomass derived from palm oil by-products can serve as an alternative source of energy, with potential calorific value to generate electricity from boilers or as renewable energy. While solid waste from palm oil by-products is commonly utilized as boiler fuel and fertilizer, it holds promise as a renewable energy source in its entirety. The research process includes problem identification, formulation, determination of research objectives, literature review, field surveys, primary data collection through observation and interviews, data analysis, and presentation of research results. Field observations from several visited palm oil mills reveal that solid waste by-products typically consist of 5-7% shell, 11-14% fiber, and 20-22% Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB) per ton of processed Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). Considering the maximum electricity requirement for processing 30 tons/hour and the potential electrical energy contained in each waste type, utilizing fiber waste alone as boiler fuel is sufficient, offering a potential electrical energy of 542.1 kW. Any excess electrical power generated (580 kW) by the boiler can be sourced from shell waste, enabling surplus electricity to be sold to external parties. With the surplus electrical power estimated at 130 – 70 kW/hour, operating for 20 hours per day yields a surplus of 1.4 – 2.6 MW/day from processing. The calorific value of solid palm oil waste is notably affected by its moisture content. Proper management of fiber waste utilization can effectively fulfill the energy needs of palm oil mills. Additionally, there is potential to sell approximately 648 – 686 kW of electrical energy externally, derived from shell waste and EFB.

Abstract

If the intensity of rainfall is too high, this can cause flooding in Maluku. The intensity of rainfall in Maluku is also strongly influenced by sea surface temperature conditions in the waters of the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. In mid-2022 and 2023, floods in Maluku caused residents' houses to be submerged, damaged road access, and broken bridges. In this study, a multi-input transfer function was applied to rainfall data in Maluku. This research data is secondary data. The data used consists of 73 data from August 2017 to August 2023. Transfer function can determine the relationship and influence between input and output in a period of time. Multi-input transfer functions are used to understand how inputs contribute to outputs. Rainfall acts as the output and temperature, air humidity, and wind speed act as the inputs. Based on the results of the study, the inputs affect the output so that the multi-input transfer function formed produces a MAPE value of 16.42%. This value can be concluded if the function is accurate

Abstract

This research examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the growth mindset of students in Pontianak. AI has become a revolutionary technology applied in education, such as adaptive learning systems, virtual assistants, and automated assessment tools that provide real-time feedback. The use of AI has the potential to enhance critical and analytical thinking skills, as well as encourage students to develop a more open and adaptive mindset. However, this research also found that excessive reliance on AI can hinder the development of deep thinking and creativity among students, with a tendency to seek quick solutions instead of engaging in exploratory thinking. Through a mixed-methods approach that combines quantitative and qualitative methods, this research identifies the positive and negative impacts of AI on students' mindsets. Quantitative analysis shows that the use of AI enhances thinking flexibility, while qualitative interviews indicate a potential decrease in motivation for independent thinking due to technology dependence. This research offers strategic recommendations for the wise use of AI in education, in order to maximize its benefits without diminishing students' cognitive abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the process, design, and create value-added marketing information systems at PT Global Kapital Investama Berjangka. The data used is primary data. The data collection method takes the form of direct observation of the research object, namely PT Global Kapital Investama Berjangka. The research result is that the marketing process in this company uses a manual system. The procedure for this marketing information system begins with the client asking for information from the sales administration/employees of PT Global Kapital Investama Berjangka regarding information on how to invest in this company. The information requested by the client is done using electronic media. The information is accommodated by the system and after the data is entered into the system, the information is well received by the client and finally the client is interested in investing in this company. The client then registers and then the sales follow up again with the client regarding personal data that still needs to be filled in again because this personal data is very detailed and more valid data is needed. The client is asked to create an email account and password. After the account is created, the account must be verified and account verification is done by providing a link and sending it to the client's email and the client must verify the data by opening the link provided. The new client's personal data is then submitted to the broker's representative and the broker's representative will create a first payment form (top-up) which must be done by each new client. Next, the client makes the first payment and proof of payment is given to the broker's representative. The broker's representative then forwards the data to sales to create a payment receipt. After all the processes are completed, the client's personal data and client payment report (report) are given to the manager to be checked and approved. Then the report is stored in the system that has been designed. The author designed the system using a data flow diagram (DFD). After all the steps are completed, the next process is to describe the design in a simple way. There is a significant difference in the amount of costs between the old and new systems. In the old system, the amount spent in a period of three months was Rp 2,273,097,914,- while the new system in a period of three months is Rp 1,206,150,000,- The costs generated in the new system appear lower than the old system because there is a reduction in the use of office stationery such as paper, computer repairmen, and computer reinstallation. The difference in the amount is due to the value-added process provided by the new system.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki pengaruh keingintahuan dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar kimia kelas XI di SMAN 1 Cariu, Kabupaten Bogor. Keingintahuan dan minat adalah dua dari banyak variabel yang mungkin memengaruhi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi secara kuantitatif. Pendekatan pengambilan sampel secara acak digunakan dalam proses pengambilan sampel. Skala psikologis yang terdiri dari 45 butir instrumen dimanfaatkan sebagai alat penelitian untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang keingintahuan dan minat belajar dari 57 siswa. Instrumen tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran kimia, sedangkan instrumen kuesioner digunakan untuk mengukur keingintahuan dan minat siswa dalam belajar. Penilaian formatif menggunakan pertanyaan deskriptif tentang konten ikatan kimia digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar dalam domain kognitif. Keingintahuan dan minat belajar diukur menggunakan kuesioner yang menggunakan skala Likert dengan opsi respons untuk selalu (SL), sering (SR), kadang-kadang (KD), dan tidak pernah (TP). Pada penyekoran pernyataan favorable “selalu” diberi skor 4, “sering” diberi skor 3, “kadang-kadang” diberi skor 2, dan “tidak pernah” diberi skor 1. Sedangkan pernyataan yang bersifat unfavorable, “selalu” diberi skor 1, “sering” diberi skor 2, “kadang-kadang” diberi skor 3, dan “tidak pernah” diberi skor 4. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi berganda. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) minat belajar mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa sebesar 97,1% dengan signifikansi 0,000; 2) rasa ingin tahu mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa sebesar 99,2% dengan signifikansi 0,000; dan 3) rasa ingin tahu dan minat belajar keduanya mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa sebesar 98% dengan signifikansi 0,000.

Abstract

Bibliometric analysis is a quantitative method used to measure and analyze scientific literature. This technique involves the collection and analysis of publication data, such as journal articles, books, and conferences, to evaluate and understand patterns of scientific communication, research productivity, author collaboration, journal impact, and trends within a scientific field. Bibliometric analysis has a limitation in that it is challenging to visualize effectively, necessitating the use of software for proper visualization. Therefore, this article discusses bibliometric analysis on spline regression for trend mapping and strategy development using VOSviewer software. The research results show that the visualization of spline regression keywords with VOSviewer can help in understanding patterns of relationships between variables, research trends, and network structures in scientific literature. Based on the analysis results, bibliometric analysis on spline regression can be visualized in trend mapping, which can aid in planning further research strategies, including identifying collaboration opportunities and underexplored research areas.

Abstract

Investment is a commitment of funds or other resources made with the goal of obtaining profits in the future. Gold is one of the commodities favored by investors because of its relatively stable value. Although relatively stable, gold prices experience fluctuations, which introduce risks associated with gold investments. The pattern of gold prices can be mathematically modeled using Support Vector Regression (SVR). SVR finds a function as a hyperplane (separating line) in the form of a regression function that fits all input data with an error and minimizes it as much as possible. SVR enables a balance between data fitting and overfitting through the use of kernel functions. The pattern of gold prices and SVR is the main focus of this research, aiming to model gold prices effectively. Furthermore, SVR seeks to obtain a hyperplane (regression function) that fits all input data by minimizing errors. The gold price modeling results using SVR indicated that the best model was obtained with a linear kernel, showing an error of 0.73% with parameters C = 10^(-4) and ? = 10^(-4). This implies the model's strong ability to follow data patterns accurately, resulting in highly reliable forecasting.

The development number of motorize vehicle users is increasing. This makes the automotive business have promising business prospects. The high level of business competition requires each company to create the best business strategy to win market competition. This research aims to determine the implementation of effective communication strategies in marketing public relations at CV. Inti Motor Solo. This research was conducted qualitatively descriptively and data was collected through observation and interview at CV. Inti Motor Solo. The results of the research indicate that marketing public relations activities at CV. Inti Motor Solo are still focused on activities to build consumer loyalty. Marketing Public relations activities carried out include the installation of company identity banners, information services, and consumer loyalty programs. Overall, marketing public relations activies at CV. Inti Motor Solo have implemented effective communication strategies well which include respect, emphaty, audible clarity, and humble.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and the incidence of acute appendicitis in patients at Ibnu Sina Hospital, Gresik Regency, in the 2022-2023 period. Acute appendicitis is a frequent emergency surgical condition, especially in adolescents and young adults, with the risk of complications such as perforation and peritonitis. NLR, as an indicator of inflammatory response, is considered more practical and economical than CT scans and ultrasounds, which have limited cost, accessibility, and risk of radiation exposure. This study used an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional approach on 51 appendicitis patients who underwent appendectomy. NLR data was obtained through routine blood results, with statistical analysis using SPSS to test the normality and difference in NLR values between uncomplicated appendicitis and appendicitis with complications. There was a significant difference in the mean NLR value between patients with complementary and non-complementary appendicitis, with a p < value of 0.001. The results of the ROC Curve analysis show that NLR has a high prediction value in predicting complementary appendicitis of 97.5%. This study concludes that NLR can be an effective indicator in distinguishing cases of complementary and non-complementary appendicitis and the potential of NLR as an easy and efficient screening tool in the treatment of acute appendicitis, especially in health facilities with limited resources.
