Abstract

Belajar adalah berubahnya tingkah laku atau tanggapan yang disebabkan oleh pengalaman. Proses pembelajaran berbeda-beda pada setiap individu, bahkan dalam lingkungan pendidikan yang sama, pembelajaran tidak terjadi pada semua siswa pada tingkat dan kualitas yang sama. Gaya belajar merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Beberapa gaya belajar diantaranya visual, auditory, read/write, kinesthetic (VARK). Salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk menilai hasil belajar pada mahasiswa kedokteran adalah progress test. Progress test merupakan salah satu metode yang dilakukan untuk asesmen formatif yaitu bertujuan untuk menilai perkembangan mahasiswa dan memberikan umpan balik tanpa menentukan kelulusan atau tidak. Nilai rerata progress test mahasiswa FK Universitas Abdurrab yang diadakan pada Oktober 2022 angkatan tahun ke-2 didapatkan rerata 26,68 yang mana lebih rendah dibandingkan nasional yang mencapai 33,97, begitu pula untuk mahasiswa tahun ke-4 didapatkan rerata 33,45 yang mana lebih rendah dari rerata nasional yang mencapai 41,78. Menganalisis hubungan gaya belajar dengan hasil progress test pada mahasiswa FK Universitas Abdurrab. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan metode cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Data diuji dengan korelasi Spearman.Tipe gaya belajar mahasiswa didominasi oleh gaya belajar unimodal kinestetik yaitu 21 mahasiswa (56,8%) dan hasil progress test tertinggi dengan skor 48 semester 7 dan skor 37,5 semester 5 memiliki tipe gaya belajar kinestetik. Hasil uji korelasi Spearman nilai p value = 0,939 ( p > 0,05 )Tidak terdapat hubungan antara gaya belajar dengan hasil progress test pada mahasiswa semester 5 dan 7 FK Universitas Abdurrab.

Abstract

This study aims to identification the availability of vacant land in the city of Padang, analyze the availability of vacant land that is safe from the tsunami disaster for direction of community relocation locations in the city of Padang, integrate the availability of vacant land that is safe from the tsunami disaster for aragan the location of community relocation to the Padang City Spatial Plan, and Making a map of the direction of the community relocation location for tsunami disaster mitigation in Padang City. The sample of this research was determined according to the research topic by using the Cluster sampling technique (sample area). The data management of this research uses observation method or satellite image interpretation technique and overlay method. The results show that the availability of vacant land which will be used as a relocation location for the people of Padang City for tsunami disaster mitigation with an area of 2.73 Ha or 1.12% of the area of Padang City and can accommodate as many as ±10,238 people based on the average population density of Padang City in 2020 and can accommodate 7.20% of the area with a tsunami vulnerability level in the very red zone (areas with a high level of vulnerability to tsunamis).

Abstract

This research designed an automatic irrigation system with an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller based on soil humidity, which regulates real-time irrigations. In particular, the study focused on the application of a tool for the growth of kangaroo crops with an optimal humidity of 60-85%, using sensor and microcontroller technology to improve crop productivity and quality by avoiding plant stress due to lack or excess of water.

Abstract

The research problem stems from the lack of entrepreneurial character in farming, due to the absence of routine extension activities. This study aims to identify the factors related to entrepreneurial character through red onion extension activities in Jak Village, Miomaffo Timur District, North Central Timor Regency. The data analysis model used in this study is Spearman Rank Correlation Test Analysis. The data collected includes both primary and secondary data. Data analysis uses Spearman rank correlation analysis to identify factors associated with entrepreneurial character through red onion extension activities in Jak Village, Miomaffo Timur District, North Central Timor Regency. The results of this study show that work ethic and responsibility, innovative behavior, and courage have a positive association with the level of participation in agricultural extension activities. This relationship is most prominent in aspects of seed selection, planting, as well as harvesting and post-harvest activities. These findings highlight the importance of considering the personal characteristics of farmers when designing and implementing effective agricultural extension programs.

Abstract

Flooding is a natural disaster caused by an increase in river discharge, as happened in February 2024 in Karanganyar Subdistrict due to the overflow of the Wulan River. This study aims to analyse flood discharge and provide recommendations for mitigation solutions. Using the Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (HSS) method, the 10-year return period flood discharge was found to be 3,829.424 m³/second, while the existing capacity of the Wulan River is 10,173.47 m³/second. To prevent future overflows, a ±1 metre high embankment elevation is required to be able to withstand a discharge of up to 13,882.51 m³/sec. This research provides a practical solution for flood control in the area.

Abstract

The long-term goal of this study is to get results in the form of cheap, effective, natural, and environmentally friendly thermal energy (thermal) insulators to support the concept of a Green and Sustainable Energy System. The specific purpose of this research is to make partition board specimens made of corn cobs (Zea mays L) by using adhesives from natural materials and testing material according to test standards.The research method was carried out through the process of destroying corn cobs, then filtered with M-50, M-80, and M-100 (Mesh) sizes. Mixing adhesive composition 1:2 & 1:4 for Kanji flour and adhesive composition of 1:1.5 & 1:2 with an Epoxy. Then Conductivity Test is carried out on the Test Box with observation time every 2 minutes.The best data were obtained for mixing Kanji glue, on Mesh 100 - (1:2) surface cross-section pressure of 10 kg with conductivity value = 0.01018257 J / ms, and Epoxy Glue mixture, on Mesh 100 - (1:2) surface cross-section pressure 20 kg with Conductivity value = 0.010614466 J / ms.

Abstract

This study aims to identify errors made by students in solving problems about Quadratic Functions in the context of the application of economic mathematics. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of students of Economic Education Study Programme of Ndraprasta PGRI University. Data collection techniques are carried out systematically and in accordance with predetermined procedures. This systematic method involves measurement techniques to evaluate students' abilities in Quadratic Function Application material in Economics through the administration of a questionnaire containing 5 description questions. The results showed that students experienced errors in working on Quadratic Function material in the application of economic mathematics, where 39% of students did not understand the concept. In addition, 31.3% per cent of students did not understand the correct steps to solve the problem, and there were also errors in the process of solving the problem. Students' accuracy in solving problems is also relatively low, and 29.3% of students who are able to solve perfectly. Thus, the level of error in this material is still very high among students.

Abstract

PT PLN (Persero) is a company engaged in the electricity sector with the function of serving all communities throughout Indonesia, trying to make efforts to improve the best service quality to satisfy customer needs. The form of electricity service to the community currently has 2, namely postpaid electricity services and prepaid electricity services. To find out whether the service has been provided to the community optimally, it is necessary to analyze the cause of damage to the 1 Phase Prepaid kWh Meter. Disturbances are often found in the Prepaid kWh Meter (MPB) because the prepaid kWh meter tends to be more sensitive and easily damaged. This study was conducted to determine the cause of damage to the 1 Phase Prepaid kWh Meter with the location of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Jayapura. The method used is a quantitative approach to process data obtained from the location, which is data in the form of numbers. The results obtained showed that the highest number of complaints of disturbances occurred in 2022 with 3283 disturbances, in 2023 with 1962 disturbances, and in 2021 with 1341 disturbances. The kWh meter brands that are often damaged are Hexing 2117 units from a total of 6586 complaints, followed by the Sanxing brand with 2083 units, the Actaris brand with 760 units, the Metbelosa brand with 756 units, the Meisys brand with 358 units, the Itron brand with 349 units, and finally the Fuji brand with 163 units. The solution to overcome the damage is to replace the damaged kWh.

Abstract

Republik Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan yang berada di lokasi pertemuan tiga lempeng tektonik di dunia, yaitu patahan australia, pasifik, dan eurasia. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan indonesia memiliki risiko besar terjadinya bencana. Sebagai wujud proyeksinya, Indonesia memiliki potensi dan riwayat terjadinya bencana seperti banjir, tsunami, gempa bum, gunung meletus, dan bencana akibat hidrologi, seperti angin puting beliung. Akibat kondisi tersebut Indonesia dikenal dengan istilah market of disaster or pron of disaster of the world. Bencana yang muncul dapat menyebabkan kerusakan, kerugian, kehilangan harta benda, hingga mortalitas. Ironinya, meskipun Indonesia telah memiliki histori kebencanaan yang rutin terjadi tiap tahun, atau puluhan tahunan, ketika terjadi bencana masih terjadi dampak bencana dan masyarakat masih ada yang belum mengetahui cara menghadapi dan meminimalisasi risikonya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terkait kesiapsiagaan bencana terhadap tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat. Metode yang dilakukan adalah quasy eksperiment one group pre-post test design dengan jumlah sampel 60 menggunakan purposive sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan wilcoxon ranged test. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikasi p=0,00; z=-3,11 dan terdapat kenaikan rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan sebelum (mean: 94,40; SR: 21,00) dan setelah intervensi (mean: 96,60; SR: 189,00). Kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan kesehatan terkait kesiapsiagaan bencana terhadap tingkat pengetahuan.

Abstract

Analyzing high-dimensional data often presents unique challenges, necessitating dimension reduction methods, one of which is the wavelet approach. Wavelets function as a transformation that automatically separates data into several components, then analyzes each component based on a resolution appropriate to its time scale. The Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) is a dimension reduction technique that relies on multiresolution decomposition to address modeling problems by generating local signal representations in the time and frequency domains (scales) continuously. Through multiresolution decomposition, trends in time series data can be separated. This transformation enables the transfer of data from the original domain into the wavelet domain for further analysis, as well as facilitating the separation of signals at both low and high frequencies more accurately. This study revisits the use of CWT, which divides data into various scales or frequency components and analyzes each part with the appropriate resolution. In this context, the Morlet wavelet filter is used. The results of the study indicate that the Morlet wavelet in CWT has advantages in detecting transient frequency components and local oscillation phenomena, making it highly effective in analyzing complex signals.
